The Basic Evil Done to Filipino Children in School

The greatest evil done to us Filipinos during our formative years in school was the murder of our curious minds. Look how utterly incurious we are as a people, and how even more incurious we are as a nation. Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by Catholic education. Especially in the Philippines where most of the existing schools, colleges, and universities are owned and operated by the Catholic church - it is one of the most highly profitable commercial enterprises existing in our country teaching us to be spiritually twisted as a people and to be morally distorted as a nation. In fact, to teach us that this world is just a transition to a better world to come after death with God in heaven while we take advantage of the forgiveness of sins and crimes by God at any time. In the meantime, show me a Filipino who has enjoyed his grade school, high school, and college years as a Catholic student and I will show you a Filipino who is shallow-minded, greedy, selfish, insane, corrupt, and has more faith in his prayers to a divinity than he loves to think and to work hard for the growth and development of his own country. Dear Poch:

Even those children who go only through PUBLIC schools get their minds brainwashed completely by their parents in religious garbage, whether those parents are Catholics or not.

That religious "garbage" is like a virulent virus, stronger and more contagious even than the smallpox virus, so that once it takes hold the victim is beyond remedy!

And that explains, in the fundamental sense, why Religion in general, and Christianity in particular, has a vise-like grip on the minds of the Filipino people.

Take care.
