Ken

Ken, As you may have noticed the title of my Blogspot is THOUGHTS TO PROVOKE YOUR THOUGHTS. As a La Salle high school expelled student of some 65 years ago, I am most proud as I seem to have succeeded in rattling up your intellectual complacency; especially as you are a college-educated reader of my Blogspot. Thanks much and please keep up the good reviews. I always enjoy reading your critical analysis. I am most flattered. Poch Suzara

Poch, thank you for your kind words. You are probably as old as my dad. I respect you as a person. It is beliefs and ideologies that we are disputing. In the Christian Faith, there is an egalitarianism of people, but elitism of ideas. People are equal, ideas are unequal. Yes, your thoughts are provocative, but they don't surprise me. If fact, that's what I would expect from unbeliever. And Poch, you don't have to keep mentioning that you were expelled from La Salle. Many great thinkers did not even have a college degree. The most quoted pastors among evangelicals are CH Spurgeon and AW Tozer. Both didn't go to college nor attend seminary. They were self-taught, and had big personal libraries.

Yes Ken, notice all of our corrupt congressmen, corrupt senators, corrupt governors, corrupt mayors, corrupt Barangay captains, corrupt chief of police - all of them have acquired college degrees. Now have you ever heard of a corrupt Poch Suzara - a high school expelled student because he was decent and courageous enough to question the corrupt system of education in the Philippines? Cheers!
