Our Criminals in Congress and the Insane in the Senate

In the Philippines, the only Christian country in Asia, even if we do not seriously read the bible from cover to cover, we nevertheless follow, not only the teachings of the Old Testament, but also, especially, follow the teachings of the New Testament. Thus, we are famous as the Sick Man of Asia specially the criminals in Congress and the insane in the Senate! Poch Suzara

Poch, the ailment of the sick man of Asia is not a result of living out the precepts of the Bible. The opposite is true; it is due to majority of Filipinos not taking the Bible seriously. The Roman church puts a higher premium on its traditions and pronouncements. There was a time when the Roman church criminalized Bible reading and burned at the stake men like William Tyndale and John Huss who translated the Bible into the common languages.
