Oh my dear Christopher Hitchens, the poorest and the most backward country in Asia today is the Philippines. Thanks to religion as the main feature of a sick system of education, millions upon millions of Filipinos are still being taught in its schools, colleges, and universities to believe that life after birth is but a meaningless transition - a matter of damnation; but life after death will be more meaningful - a matter of eternal salvation. Thus, there is no such thing in the Philippines as the birth, growth, and development of civilization. There is only the growth of a sick population for the sake of Jesus and His sick gang behind the holy congregation operating tax-free in our poor and backward country as religious corporations.
