Restoring The Public's Faith in the Government
Restoring the public's faith in the government? It will be more of the same old mess. Faith is nothing more than pretending to know something, when in fact we know nothing. Faith is worse than reckless thinking. It is unthinking. Instead of faith, what we need from the government officials is to prove to the people daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly that the Philippine government is a government
of the people, by the people, and for the people; and not a government of the government officials, by the government officials, and for the government officials. Especially as they are still so faithful saying their prayers to God daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly for the forgiveness of their sins and crimes. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Ask God for a New Brain
"For a new start, ask God for a new heart." Philippine Star, July 31, 2014... For Christ's sake, why not ask God for a new brain? After all, we Filipinos are not worth dying for; we are worth thinking for. But then again, God gave Adam and Eve not intelligent brain, but instead gave them heart with a Free will. Look at the results: Both were thrown out of paradise. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Spiritual Typhoon to Visit the Philippines in 2015
Pope Francis will arrive in January 2015 to visit the victims of " Typhoon Yolanda." The horror typhoon that caused the death of more than ten thousand Filipinos - men, women, and children; and, that destroyed billions worth in assets, and properties in Tacloban, Samar more than a year ago. The catholic church is stating that this visit by Pope Francis will be the greatest of typhoons - a "Spiritual Typhoon" for the Filipinos in the Philippines. . . Proudly, Pope Francis will be here in the Philippines to remind millions of us poor Filipinos never to abandon our faith in the good, merciful, and loving God who has never failed to provide for the Philippines - being the only Catholic country in Asia since 400 years ago. . . The Sick Children of Asia
We do NOT produce more rice, more corn, more coconuts, more garlic, more onions, more potato, more cabbage, and, indeed, more fruits, more chickens, cows, pigs and goats, and other kinds of goodies. We only produce more babies. We produce 3 babies every minute, 180 babies every hour, 4320 every day, 30,240 babies every week, 120,960 babies every month, or 1.5 to 1.9 million babies every year. . . When we are told by the sick church officials in cahoots with the sick government officials that there is economic growth and prosperity in the Philippines, it is lie. There is only the population growth that's keeping us directionless as a people and rudderless as a nation. Specially for the glory not of our country down here, but only for the glory of a sick divinity up there!. . . In the meantime, I imagine the Filipino as the most active and creative exporters, proudly; and not anymore as the stupid importers, shamelessly. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# facebook# Google#
Let's Be More Truthful than Faithful
Most children at home and in school are taught to be more faithful than truthful. Thus, as they grow up to be men and women - they are only frightful of this world instead of making it more meaningful, beautiful, delightful, joyful and peaceful. . . In the meantime, because of, and due to, our stupid religion, we are not a people of intelligent readers and thinkers; only a nation of frightened believers and stupid endless prayers... Poor People in America and in the Philippines

Sick religion Poisons Everything
Religion poisons everything, a menace to civilization. It has become a threat to human survival... Christopher Hitchens... Oh my dear Christopher Hitchens, the poorest and the most backward country in Asia today is the Philippines. Thanks to religion as the main feature of a sick system of education, millions upon millions of Filipinos are still being taught in its schools, colleges, and universities to believe that life after birth is but a meaningless transition - a matter of damnation; but life after death will be more meaningful - a matter of eternal salvation. Thus, there is no such thing in the Philippines as the birth, growth, and development of civilization. There is only the growth of a sick population for the sake of Jesus and His sick gang behind the holy congregation operating tax-free in our poor and backward country as religious corporations. Jesus Never died On the Cross

And it is for this reason that you religious saps should stop bragging about how Jesus Christ died on the cross since on the third day he resurrected back to life to spread the Gospels. . . The Filipino is worth thinking for
"Self-deception is the worst tragedy of the Filipino as a people." Historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo. . . Oh my dear Historian-Professor-Friend Agoncillo, thanks to our self-deception as a people, we are experiencing in this 21st century, a far more painful tragedy as a nation - our needless growth in population. We are now growing by 3 babies born every minute; or, 4320 babies daily; or, 129,600 babies monthly; or, 1,555,200 babies born yearly. According to the latest statistic - our population is now 100,000,000 million. At the rate of growth at 15 million Filipinos every 10 years by the year 2050 our population would have reached around 200 million Filipinos. . . I said it before, I say it again. In order to solve our troubles and problems as a nation in the here and now - it is not enough to believe that the Filipino is worth dying for. In fact, we better start believing that the Filipino is worth thinking for; especially if we hope to have a better future for the generations to come practising seriously birth control and family planning. God Created the cosmos out of WHERE and WHEN?

Who Speaks for the Earth - for the Philippines
Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth. Our obligation to survive is owed not just to ourselves but also to that Cosmos, ancient and vast, from which we spring. . . Carl Sagan
Let us look deep at those who are spiritually malnourished; and let us look deeper at our morally impoverished society. Then let us conclude that our self-imposed maladies are mostly due to, if not
derived from - the sick bible and its sick teachings. Indeed, look at us Filipinos in this already 21st century. We still believe that human life is a defect, and that we need not bother with reconstruction. We must only seek obliteration. It is, in this way, that the religious traders or bible brokers still find it highly profitable to be selling what millions of anxious Filipinos are buying: - Jesus!
In the meantime, there is nothing more destructive in our history than the hopeless resignation of our women to the outrages she has been taught to believe are declared to be ordained by Jesus.
Who speaks for the Philippines? We, the filipino atheists. We love not divinity up there. Instead, we love our country down here. We atheists speak for the Philippines. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Bertrand Russell's Last Message to the world before His Death in Feb 2, 1970
Bertrand Russell’s Last Message
By Bertrand Russell
This statement on the Middle East was dated 31st January, 1970, and was read on 3rd February, the day after Bertrand Russell's death, to an International Conference of Parliamentarians meeting in Cairo.
The latest phase of the undeclared war in the Middle East is based upon a profound miscalculation. The bombing raids deep into Egyptian territory will not persuade the civilian population to surrender, but will stiffen their resolve to resist. This is the lesson of all aerial bombardment.
The Vietnamese who have endured years of American heavy bombing have responded not by capitulation but by shooting down more enemy aircraft. In 1940 my own fellow countrymen resisted Hitler's bombing raids with unprecedented unity and determination. For this reason, the present Israeli attacks will fail in their essential purpose, but at the same time they must be condemned vigorously throughout the world.
The development of the crisis in the Middle East is both dangerous and instructive. For over 20 years Israel has expanded by force of arms. After every stage in this expansion Israel has appealed to “reason” and has suggested “negotiations”. This is the traditional role of the imperial power, because it wishes to consolidate with the least difficulty what it has already taken by violence. Every new conquest becomes the new basis of the proposed negotiation from strength, which ignores the injustice of the previous aggression. The aggression committed by Israel must be condemned, not only because no state has the right to annexe foreign territory, but because every expansion is an experiment to discover how much more aggression the world will tolerate.
The refugees who surround Palestine in their hundreds of thousands were described recently by the Washington journalist I.F. Stone as “the moral millstone around the neck of world Jewry.” Many of the refugees are now well into the third decade of their precarious existence in temporary settlements. The tragedy of the people of Palestine is that their country was “given” by a foreign Power to another people for the creation of a new State. The result was that many hundreds of thousands of innocent people were made permanently homeless. With every new conflict their number have increased. How much longer is the world willing to endure this spectacle of wanton cruelty? It is abundantly clear that the refugees have every right to the homeland from which they were driven, and the denial of this right is at the heart of the continuing conflict. No people anywhere in the world would accept being expelled en masse from their own country; how can anyone require the people of Palestine to accept a punishment which nobody else would tolerate? A permanent just settlement of the refugees in their homeland is an essential ingredient of any genuine settlement in the Middle East.
We are frequently told that we must sympathize with Israel because of the suffering of the Jews in Europe at the hands of the Nazis. I see in this suggestion no reason to perpetuate any suffering. What Israel is doing today cannot be condoned, and to invoke the horrors of the past to justify those of the present is gross hypocrisy. Not only does Israel condemn a vast number. of refugees to misery; not only are many Arabs under occupation condemned to military rule; but also Israel condemns the Arab nations only recently emerging from colonial status, to continued impoverishment as military demands take precedence over national development.
All who want to see an end to bloodshed in the Middle East must ensure that any settlement does not contain the seeds of future conflict. Justice requires that the first step towards a settlement must be an Israeli withdrawal from all the territories occupied in June, 1967. A new world campaign is needed to help bring justice to the long-suffering people of the Middle East. Poch Suzara
Nothing is Impossible with God. NO KIDDING"
"Nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37. . . NO KIDDING? What a crock of bullshit. How come it has always been impossible for God to be OMNIPRESENT since it has only been possible for God to only be always OMNI-absent?. . . In the meantime, I said it before and I say it again: Without God, however, we humans have better opportunities to possibly transformed this world, our world, into a better world to live in. Especially with the power of science and technology. We must, however, first and foremost, get rid of the forces of evil keeping our world poor and backward - the great religions of the world; specially that of Christianity keeping us Filipinos frightened and directionless as a people; and, keeping our Philippines unenlightened and rudderless as a nation. . . In the meantime, think about this: different religions are not different interpretations of the same God. They are the impossible interpretations of the same fear and ignorance as among the greatest gifts possible with God. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
100,000,000 million Filipinos Now Populate our Small country
We are told that death is but our transition to a better world. Unfortunately, birth is the opposite - it is the preparation to live in this world miserably in poverty for the love of Jesus; specially birth in the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia celebrating today the birth of a child to make the Philippines now have a population of 100,000,000 MILLION Filipinos - mostly devoted to Jesus as our Savior as a Catholic; and hardly to learn to become decent and proud as productive citizens of our Republic! Birth is far More Precious than Death
According to Christian belief death is but a transition to a better world. Sadly, however, if we can ever hope to succeed in making this world, our world, a better place to live in, we must first get rid of the forces of evil keeping our world poor and backward - the sick and the great religions of the world. Let us Ask a More Intelligent Question
Question: "Why did God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden?"
Answer: God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden to give Adam and Eve a choice to obey Him or disobey Him. Adam and Eve were free to do anything they wanted, except eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:16-17, “And the LORD God commanded the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.’” If God had not given Adam and Eve the choice, they would have essentially been robots, simply doing what they were programmed to do. God created Adam and Eve to be “free” beings, able to make decisions, able to choose between good and evil. In order for Adam and Eve to truly be free, they had to have a choice.
There was nothing essentially evil about the tree or the fruit of the tree. It is unlikely that eating the fruit truly gave Adam and Eve any further knowledge. It was the act of disobedience that opened Adam and Eve’s eyes to evil. Their sin of disobeying God brought sin and evil into the world and into their lives. Eating the fruit, as an act of disobedience against God, was what gave Adam and Eve knowledge of evil (Genesis 3:6-7).
God did not want Adam and Eve to sin. God knew ahead of time what the results of sin would be. God knew that Adam and Eve would sin and would thereby bring evil, suffering, and death into the world. Why, then, did God allow Satan to tempt Adam and Eve? God allowed Satan to tempt Adam and Eve to force them to make the choice. Adam and Eve chose, of their own free will, to disobey God and eat the forbidden fruit. The results—evil, sin, suffering, sickness, and death—have plagued the world ever since. Adam and Eve's decision results in every person being born with a sin nature, a tendency to sin. Adam and Eve's decision is what ultimately required Jesus Christ to die on the cross and shed His blood on our behalf. Through faith in Christ, we can be free from sin's consequences, and ultimately free from sin itself. May we echo the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 7:24-25, “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!”
For my part, as an atheist, I say throw all that biblical garbage out the window. We should, instead, ask a more pertinent question: Where exactly is tree of Knowledge of Good and evil existing and living on this earth today? Obviously, such a tree of Good and Evil never existed in the Philippines. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
God Loves Everyone - NO KIDDING
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7The LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them." Genesis 6:6-7
Before drowning by flooding to death every man, woman, and child in this world, except Noah and his family of 8 people, God shouted to Noah: "FUCK THE NEIGHBORS; SAVE THE ANIMALS! TWO OF A KIND!"

Indeed, if our system of education were more about learning HOW to think, and not just WHAT to believe, we could be intelligent thinkers as a healthy people, and not just be sick as a nation of frightened believers.
After 400 years of silly Christianity, isn't time that we Filipinos move on with human decency in our own country enjoying as a people - intellectual and cultural prosperity; and not just forever be damned as a nation enjoying recycled garbage year and year out? Indeed, recycled social insanity, political mendacity, religious mediocrity, and economic insanity? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Scientists are always more Truthful and Honest
Who would you believe as being honest and truthful in their respective declarations - the frightened theologian who says that "God made you in His own image and likeness;" or the brightened scientist like Carl Sagan, in Cosmos, who says: “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.” . . . for my part, I'd rather first and always believe the scientists - they never threatened me with eternal damnation if I refuse to believe such great men and women of intellect, integrity, and human dignity. Oh My Dear President, Please Read your Holy Bible
"There are some who, no matter what I do, like attending this event, will always look for things to criticize. I just want to remind
them: If you are my fellow Christians, it is our duty to love each other in the name of the Lord, instead of sowing confusion and misunderstanding." President Benigno Aquino 111 . . . Oh My dear Mr. President, please read your holy bible. In this way, you need not say things in public that are, in fact, contrary to what Jesus in the bible clearly stated: "If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother, wife and children, and brethren, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26 . . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Religion as the Biggest Business in the Philippines
Demand money with the threat of violence and you will get arrested. Do it with the threat of eternal damnation, and it is not only tax deductible, but also highly profitable for the self-appointed agents as God's preachers. Such agents as God's preachers are the Catholic bishops; Pastor Eduardo Manalo of INC; Pastor Eli Soriano of Dating Daan; Pastor Mike Velarde of El Shaddai' Pastor Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord church; Pastor Apollo Quiboloy - the Appointed Son of God church. These God's preachers are among the rotten and corrupt filthy rich Filipinos in this poor and backward nation known as the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century. Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Bastard Son
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: when as his mother Mary was to be married to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:18... Obviously, before she got married, Mary was a Tootie-Frootie having sexual affair with the Holy Ghost... Wasn't this more about family insanity and nothing to do with family morality?
Well, listen to another truth revealed by the inspired authors of God in the bible: - "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD." But the Lord himself was a bastard son, wasn't he?. . . I asked: since Jesus felt he had no real mother who cared for him nor experienced the joys of father/son relationship, can we blame Jesus for declaring: "If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother, wife and children, sisters and brethren, nay, and his life also, he cannot be my disciple." Our Greatest Riches in Christ
"Our greatest riches are the riches we have in Christ." Philippine Star, July 18, 2014. This is all so true for as long as we daily enjoy our faith in blind faith. Otherwise, we never see a poor Filipino getting to be filthy rich for believing that Christ is BAD. But we all see daily millions of poor Filipinos getting to be more filthy poorer and yet they faithfully believe that Christ is GOOD! Poch Suzara

God Always Keeps His Promise
God is faithful to God's promises. Before you die, you will find acceptance and the love you crave. It will not come in the way you expect. It will not follow your needs and wishes. But it will fill your heart and satisfy your deepest desire. There is nothing to hold on but this promise. Cling to the naked promise in faith. Your faith will heal you. - - - Henri Nouwen
In the meantime, it is true: there is nothing impossible with God. For example, it has never been impossible for God to break His promise to deliver at least 20 destructive typhoons to damage life and property in the Philippines. God has always faithfully kept His promise. - - - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
God Has Always Provided For the Philippines
God has always provided for the Filipinos in the Philippines. Look how God continues to provide the Philippines with the same corrupt sons and corrupt daughters of the mothers and the fathers then as corrupt congressmen and as corrupt senators of the Philippine government? Not to mention sons and daughters of past corrupt presidents of the Republic too. Indeed, with God, nothing is impossible! . . . God has even made it impossible that the Philippine government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people; but a government only of, by, and for the rich children of the rich politicians loyal first to God and to His church; then loyal to themselves as they are the rich aiming to become filthy richer; and the poor to only get filthy poorer.. . . Destructive Typhoons and Jesus In The Philippines
Typhoon “Glenda” dealt Metro Manila only a glancing blow of about three hours Wednesday, but it was enough to shut down the capital, leave the megacity a shambles and without power, and take at least 20 lives as it blew out into the West Philippine Sea after cutting a wide swath of destruction from eastern to southern Luzon.
The number of fatalities in the first major typhoon of the Philippines’ brutal rainy season was hard to determine, as most parts of the stricken regions had no electricity and the main disaster agency groped in the dark for information.
The powerful winds of Glenda (international name: Rammasun, which in Thai means “God of Thunder”) brought down trees, electric posts and ripped off roofs across Metro Manila, where government offices, schools and the stock market were shuttered for the day.
Without electricity, the elevated commuter train services LRT and MRT were suspended and most of the city of 12 million people sweltered in the dark for more than half of the day.
Glenda’s powerful winds shut down the two runways servicing domestic and international flights at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) at 7 a.m., paralyzing the entire airport operations for most of the morning as the typhoon passed just south of the capital.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) opened the runways at 10:40 a.m., bringing back airport operations. . . Philippine Star, July 17, 2014
In the meantime, I have asked the Lord Jesus before, I ask the Lord Jesus again: Oh Lord, my dear Jesus, after all these past centuries, isn't your Father as yet sick and tired of providing destructive typhoons yearly for the Philippines? After all, we Filipinos are your only faithful and prayerful believers in the whole of Asia since the 16th century. Really Jesus, don't you think that it is time for you to tell your Father God to edit out the errors, terrors, and horrors written in His Divine Plan for us Filipinos in the Philippines?. . . There is No such thing as Health
If health is a state of being well in body and in mind, indeed, free from diseases, then it follows that there is no such thing as health on a permanent basis. After all, the day we are born is the day we also begin to live in a dying body... In this connection, is it not also true that the science of medicine should be more truthful if it were called the "Science of temporary Health?" The day science conquers death and science will see to it that we can live on this earth for as long as we like, then and only then we could truthfully say that we are in "good health." . . . Why Am I an Atheist
I am an atheist because there is not an iota of veracity nor a modicum of reality in religion. There are only loads of lies and deceptions on the one hand; and, on the other hand, illusions and delusions. I love the search of the truth. Since the truth is most likely to be found in the book of wisdom, I need no longer bother to find the truth in the book of lies - the holy bible... I say throw that worthless bible out the window. Man's most noble of profession is the search of the truth. In the meantime, as an atheist, I want see not churches, but more hospitals built for the sick, more homes built for the homeless, more jobs created for the jobless, more thoughts for the thoughtless; I want more schools, colleges, and universities established to function not as commercial enterprises, but to serve as educational establishments. Indeed, a system of education that teaches millions of young people HOW TO THINK, and not WHAT THEY MUST BELIEVE LIKE SILLY FOOLS ARE GULLIBLE ENOUGH TO READILY BELIEVE. . . The Greatest of Values in This Life

It Is Time to be Disrespectful of the Evil Known as Religion
Question: -
Should atheists show more respect and deference to religion? Isn't it disrespectful to religious theists to be so critical of their beliefs and values?. . .
Response: -
There is an increasingly popular notion that religion deserve automatic respect and deference from everyone — even those who don't share that religion or that theism. People attack atheists for failing to show the "appropriate" respect to religious and theistic beliefs. Atheists shouldn't say things which constitute pointed, direct, or harsh challenges to religious and theistic claims. At the risk of further accusations of myself being intolerant and disrespectful, I say to you believers: so, so what? . . .
Atheist/scientist Richard Dawkins writes in The God Delusion: "As long as we accept the principle that religious faith must be respected simply because it is religious faith, it is hard to withhold respect from the faith of Osama bin Laden and the suicide bombers." Most religious believers don't respect the beliefs of bin Laden; that, however, requires not treating religious beliefs as inherently and necessarily deserving of our automatic respect; instead, we evaluate those beliefs on their own merit and react accordingly. This is what the "new atheists" or "militant atheists" do, but they do so to all religious beliefs.". . .
Atheists are not responsible for making religious believers feel better about their religion or their theism. Atheists are not responsible for helping validate religious theism by treating it with a respect or deference that it hasn't earned. Atheists are not responsible for protecting the feelings of religious theists by not speaking out, showing where theists haven't supported their claims or where they have used childish arguments. . .
Theists who believe they can't handle pointed, direct, and even harsh criticism of their religious and theistic beliefs always have the option of just not bringing them up. This is precisely the same choice facing every person and every belief: you can either put your belief out in public for comment and critique, or you can keep it to yourself. You don't have the option of putting your belief out in public and then insisting that everyone respect it or not criticize it. . .
Indeed, as an atheist, I say it again: The most terrible thing we can do in this life, in this world, is to respect existence of evils, especially the greatest of evils - religion. One need not look far and wide to see the evil results of religion in a country like the Philippines. Today, in this already 21st century, Millions of faithful Filipinos are still hoping, waiting, and praying for the arrival of a Savior - a Son of God Jesus to introduce good health for ourselves as a people; and, to introduce good wealth for ourselves as a nation! Sadly, however, insanity comes in many shapes and forms. The worst kind of insanity in our country is the one that comes from the teachings of Christianity. She continues to support and maintain social and political and religious insanity in our poor and backward country! . . .
In other countries, people eat to live in order to work harder for the achievement of the good life - the one inspired by love and guided by the learning of more and deeper knowledge. . .
In the Philippines, however, thanks to Christianity and its teachings, we Filipinos eat to live so that we may continue to pray harder for the forgiveness of our insane sins against divinity; and, for the forgiveness of our insane crimes against our own country. Indeed, thanks to our endless respect of stupid religion, we Filipinos have neither time to grow healthy as a people. We have neither the energy to develop in wealth as a decent nation. Human Stupidity Must Go Marching on Eternally
The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it...
Albert Einstein . . . Oh my dear Einstein, please permit me to paraphrase your truthful words: the Philippines is a dangerous place to live; not because of the Filipinos who are evil, but because of the filipinos who won't do anything about it. It is what our sick system
of Catholic education has been and still is mostly about. Among the hundreds of similar messages written in the holy bible, here is the summary of the whole mess: "Love not this world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15 . . . In other words, not the truth, but human stupidity must go marching on forever and ever. . . Poch Suzara
War is Big Business
I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity. . . Dwight D. Eisenhower . . .
Many soldiers have the courage to die gallantly in battle, but will not have the courage to say, or even to think, that the cause for which they are asked to die is an unworthy one. . . Bertrand Russell
It is sad to see in this already 21st century America the elderly Americans continue to create wars by creating its own enemies and then sends young men and women as US soldiers to fight "terrorism" overseas under the pretext that they are fighting for freedom and democracy. The Silly and Spiritually frightened Editors of Philippine Star
Spread the gospel; it's contagious. Philippine Star, July 8, 2014
I said it before, I say it again: if only the serious editors of Philippine Star would bother to seriously read the gospel, they would not make such serious, malicious, vicious, and meretricious suggestions for its readers to follow seriously.
Here’s love, peace on earth, and goodwill to all men, women, and children as gospel from Jesus Christ – the Prince of Peace – the Savior of Mankind, the loving Son of a loving God:
Matt. 8:21-22 “And another of His disciple said unto Him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury the dead.
Matt. 10:34-35 “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth. I came not to send peace, but a sword,” “For I am come to set a
Man at variance against his father, and daughter against her mother.”
Matt. 19:29 “And everyone that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.”
Mark 10:29-30 “There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s. But he shall receive a hundredfold now in time… with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.”
Mark 13:12 “Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.”
Luke 12:51-53 :Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division. For from henceforth there shall be five to one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father, and the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother…”
Luke 14:26 “ If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, and yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
Luke 14:33 “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not that all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.”
Luke 19:27 “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them for me.”
St John 12:25-26 “He that loveth his life shall lose it; he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal; . . . If any man serve me, him will my father honor.” Poch Suzara, Atheist, Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Poverty Mixed with Insanity in the Philippines
In the Philippines, poverty is caused by corruption. It is generated by a corrupt system of education. This is in retail. Poverty, however,
in wholesale, inextricably mixed with social and political insanity has always been and still is the best kind of misery for the perpetual existence of Christianity in our sick country. Indeed, there are many kinds of poverty in the world. The worst kind of poverty, however, can only be found in the Philippines - poverty of the mind and heart. There is no other country in the world, except only in the Philippines, especially in its culture - where millions of homeless Filipino children live off garbage in the street of our major cities and such horror is considered evidence enough that God has always and will always continue to provide for the poor Filipinos in the Philippines being the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century...
In the meantime, in this already 21st century, however, since the 16th century, only in the Philippines: millions of Filipinos are still waiting and hoping with daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly prayers for the return of a sick foreigner - the Jewish Son of God Jesus to remedy the ills of our sick country. It is, in this way, that our famous religious clowns on TV, never miss to declare that Jesus will
soon be returning. It is, in this way, like the rest of the filthy gang of filthy rich criminals famous in our sick society - they keep
our country perpetually threatened, if not eternally frightened: They are the catholic bishops; INC bishops; Pastor Bo Sanchez of the Light of Jesus Family church; Pastor Mike Velarde of El Shaddai; Pastor Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Church; Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Appointed Son of God church; and Pastor Eli Soriano of Dating Daan church; etc...
For my part, as an atheist, I said it before, I say it again: it is time for us filipinos to get ahead in the race to achieve that higher standard of thinking as a people; and, to achieve that higher standard of living as a nation. We can only achieve such standards via schools, colleges, and universities generating with the power of science and the beauty of technology, and no longer blessed with the same old usual historical silly prayers as inspired by silly beliefs in silly divinity so loved by the million of filipinos as a mystery endlessly identified as the holy trinity. . . CBCP: Who are we to condemn Pork Scammers
CBCP: Who are we to condemn pork scammers?
MANILA - The president of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines is urging Filipinos not to condemn several individuals including three senators who are facing plunder charges over the multi-billion pork barrel scandal.
In a report on CBCPNews, Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas reminded Christians to "love at all times, even those who sin and err, for none of us is above human frailty."
"For those among us who are not accused, let us remember that the offenses with which those who now stand accused are charged could very well be the offense of any of us as well," he said.
"Who are we to condemn? Let the one who has no sin be the first to cast a stone," he added.
Villegas urged officials not to act out of hatred or desire for vengeance. He said a vengeful action "cannot be from God."
"Let no action – official, personal or otherwise – be ever born out of hatred or a desire for vengeance," he said.
"Let everything we do be born out of sincere love for each other and concern for the common good for only then will we be recognized as disciples of the Divine Master who searches out and rescues the lost and the weak," he added.
The CBCP president said those tasked to prosecute the cases must "observe total commitment to the human rights of the accused."
"Everybody culpable, whatever their political affiliations may be, should be investigated and, if so warranted, indicted. When justice is selective, it is not justice at all," he said.
The Office of the Ombudsman on Friday formally filed before the Sandiganbayan plunder charges against three senators and several individuals linked to the P10 billion pork barrel scam.
Facing plunder raps before the Sandiganbayan are Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, Bong Revilla, Janet Lim Napoles, Jessica Reyes, Ronald John Lim, John Raymund de Asis, Pauline Labayen, John de Asis and Richard Cambe."
WOW! My dear Catholic Bishops: Who are we to condemn the pork scammers? It is Time to Love, Not Hate - America
There are valid reason why the tens of thousands of children from South and Central America are seeking refuge in the United States. The reasons are there inscribed in our Statue of Liberty: "Give me your tried, your poor, your huddled masses to breath free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost, to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
As an American citizen, I am ashamed of our American government. We should be welcoming instead of rejecting these poor children seeking a better life in America. Here is a great and wonderful opportunity for America to regain the love and respect of the world; and yet, since our government only continue to be selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane, the world hates us, especially hate our sick government. Our government has turn out to be nothing but the sick servant of a bigger government - the Military-Industrial-University Complex - the real owners of America - no longer the land of the free or the home of the brave; in fact, America is no longer a nation; it is one sick giant corporation!

Insanity as Security in the Philippines
We have more than 146,000 Filipinos working for the Philippine National Police. We have more than 125,000 Filipinos working as soldiers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. We have more than a 1,000,000 Filipinos working as security guards of licenses Security Agencies in the Philippines. We have 42,000 Barangay Captains to help curtail the ways of the criminals in our sick society.
So how come the crime wave in this only CATHOLIC country in Asia is increasing, not decreasing? In the meantime, no doubt, there is no such thing as "security" in this world. There is, however, for certain, without a doubt, "insanity." And insanity is more religiously considered by the priesthood industry in the Philippines as the holy values and sacred beliefs behind "Christianity." And to think that the spirit of Christianity in the Philippines is exactly like the spirit of God - existing here, existing there, and existing everywhere in the Philippines. And to think that the spirit of Christianity in the Philippines is exactly like the spirit of God - existing here, existing there, and existing everywhere in the Philippines. However, instead of being always omnipresent, God is only always omni-absent. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Sick Freedom for the Sick Children of Asia
"Freedom doesn't give us the right to to do what we please, but to do what pleases God." Philippine Star, July 4, 2014... Oh God, my dear God, are you really that sick too like the sick editors of the Philippine Star in this only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century? ... Who the fuck knows what exactly pleases you or what displeases you? ... The NIC bishops, the Catholic bishops, Pastor Mike Velarde of el shaddai, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy as the Appointed Son of God church, Pastor Eli Soriano of Dating Daan, Pastor Eddie Villanueva if Jesus is Lord church - all have not ceased insulting each other as to what really pleases or what really displeases God! . . . Imelda Marcos at the Age of 83

Causes of Poverty in the Philippines
The main causes of poverty in the Philippines include the following:
• low to moderate economic growth for the past 40 years;
• low growth elasticity of poverty reduction;
• weakness in employment generation and the quality of jobs generated;
• failure to fully develop the agriculture sector;
• high inflation during crisis periods;
• high levels of population growth;
• high and persistent levels of inequality (incomes and assets), which dampen the positive impacts of economic expansion; and
• recurrent shocks and exposure to risks such as economic crisis, conflicts, natural disasters, and “environmental poverty.”
Notice there is no mention of poverty of the worst kind in the Philippines - the poverty of mind and heart. - It comes from schools, colleges, and universities. Such Christian enterprises continue to teach millions of Filipinos to believe that: "it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God;" "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven;" "what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses in the end his soul." "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
And yes, listen to what our congressmen and senators love mostly about the Lord Jesus, our Savior. He told the thief on the cross, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43). . . Poch Suzara Twitter# facebook# Google#

The Biggest Syndicate of Filipino Criminals - our Senators and Congressmen
"Each new day gives us new reason to praise the Lord." Philippine Star, July 2, 2014 . . . Oh yes, in our poor and backward country, we praise the Lord as we are able produce 3 babies every minute or 180 babies every hour or 4,320 babies daily. Many of these poor babies struggle to survive by eating garbage off the streets of our major cities. Indeed, the sick Children of Asia. Happily, however, in tnis only Christian country in Asia, our newspaper editors and columnists have daily reason to praise the Lord daily. They love to defend and protect the sins and the crimes of the biggest syndicate of Filipino criminals more referred to as congressmen and senators. Such gang of criminals have more reasons to love and to praise the Lord as the Lord never misses to forgive them of sins and crimes committed daily. After all, in the ultimate analysis, as Christianity has a vested interest in human misery via insanity and poverty in any country even the politicians in our government see to it that we continue to remain faithful to our Lord Jesus on earth as He is in heaven and in hell. Devastation and Destitution Via Revelation
Oh yes, for being atheistic, and for not believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God - the Founder of Christianity - the Japanese people are regularly punished by God with destruction, devastating, and conflagration.
In the Philippines, however, for being theistic, for believing in Jesus Christ as the Founder of Christianity, we Filipinos are also punished by the same God. Especially with economic stagnation, historical degradation, social delusion, political corruption, and cultural destitution. So that we may keep our faith in everlasting delusion as inspired by the death of Jesus under crucifixion. So there is death and destruction in Japan due to the evils that come from what is the natural? Well, what about the death and destruction in the Philippines due to the evils that come from what is supernatural?
Indeed, we are damned if we believe in God. We are also damned if we do not believe in God. Whatever the case may be, there is no escape - we are all the damned victims of the God-damned. I said it before, I say it again: If we all were atheists, if we all stop believing in a sick God, the sooner we could all learn to live together in peace and harmony and sanity reconstructing this imperfect world into a better place to live in; and, if we must die one day - let us try and leave this world a better place than how we found it. Otherwise, there is little reason for our having lived. Poch Suzara Facebook# Twitter# Atheist# Google#
Man as the Most Insane of All Living Things on this Planet
"Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible nature. Unaware that the nature he's destroying is the God that He's worshipping." ... Hubert Reeves . . . I said it before, I say it again: these horrors are due to the fact that we are all born ignorant, not insane. We are made insane via schools, colleges, and universities. Indeed, thanks to the insane system of education, we learned, for the most part, how to love God up there via hate of one another down here? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Humanism Has Nothing To do with Capitalism
"Most of our country's serious problems can be laid at the feet of Congress and the White House and not at capitalism." Walter E. Williams ... Wow Walter, Humanism never played any part, great or small, in setting up Congress or the White House in America. . . That was neatly done by the power, wealth, and glory of the capitalists in order to get capitalism grow more in power, more in wealth, and more in glory not only locally, but also, especially, globally. . . Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by the capitalists because he viewed the capitalist as scoundrels and secondary to workers, even if he viewed capitalism favorably.
The Military-Industrial-University complex of the USA today maintains and supports the existence of more than 700 military bases in foreign countries in order to defend and protect Capitalism in America and those of its allies ub such foreign countries. . .
Washington - The Pentagon estimates that each year it spends $22.1 billion to maintain its bases and troops around the world. However, the actual costs even on conservative estimates is about $170 billion annually.
The totals could be even higher. Estimates of maintaining U.S. bases abroad since the start of the war on terror in 2001 range from $1.8 trillion to $2.1 trillion...
The Pentagon must each year produce an "Overseas Cost Summary" that calculates the total price on overseas military activities. This includes costs of construction, repairs and maintenance. There are about one million U.S. military and Defence Department personnel and families abroad. This calculation for the 2012 fiscal year ending September 30 documented $22.1 billion in spending. But that is only part of the story - the tip of the iceberg. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

We Atheists Have everything To Live For
"It's a strange myth that atheists have nothing to live for. It's the opposite. We have nothing to die for. We have everything to live for." Ricky Gervais

Extreme Global Poverty
What is Extreme Global Poverty? It's an important question, and the numbers are staggering.
2.8 billion people live on less than $2/day (USD), and roughly 1.2 billion people live on less than $1.25/day (USD)--the definition of "extreme global poverty."
Consider the following:
Water - 3.4 million people die every year from water related diseases around the world, and roughly 768 million people do not have access to clean water.
Health - Nearly 11,000 people die every day from HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Close to two-thirds of these people are living in sub-Saharan Africa.
Education - 57 million children of primary school age are out of school. More than half of them (29.8 million) are in sub-Saharan Africa and a further one fifth (12.4 million) in South and West Asia.
Women - A woman dies every minute due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth.
Human Trafficking - worldwide, it's estimated that 29.8 million people are enslaved.
Agriculture & hunger - Malnutrition is the underlying cause of death for at least 3.1 million children, accounting for 45% of all deaths among children under the age of five.
In the Philippines, with our endless poverty; especially poverty of the worst kind - the poverty of the mind and heart, we Filipinos are still educated in Catholic schools, colleges, and universities to believe in God and to have faith in God who, sooner or later, will provide for us filipinos. If not today, tomorrow in the next world to come in heaven but only after we are all dead!
Oh yes, thanks to our sick religious values and sick religious beliefs - as the Sick Children of Asia we Filipinos have far more love for a Jewish Savior - the Son of God Jesus than we do love the sons and the daughters of our poor and backward country. Spiritual Poverty in the Philippines
"God is the measure and healer of our spiritual wealth"... Philippine Star, June 30, 2014 . . . I said it before, I say it again: The greatest of wealth is mental health. In the Philippines, as the Sick Children of Asia, we Filipinos suffer from poverty of the worst kind: the poverty of the mind and heart. Indeed, we enjoy neither health as a people; nor do we enjoy wealth as a nation. We are the poor and Sick Children of Asia. We are sick precisely because of, if not due to, our being historically deprived of the real joys in life - the joys of decent growth as a people; and the joys of decent development as a nation. What we were as Filipinos during the 16th century, we still are the same old Filipinos today in this already 21st century: nothing but frightened catholics. Indeed, we are NOT the intelligent masters of religion in our country. We are but the sick victims of a Catholic system of education. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
Why the US should Stop Creating Criminals in foreign countries to SAVE the US Economy
WHY THE US SHOULD STOP CREATING CRIMINALS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES TO SAVE THE US ECONOMY - - - 16 Reasons Why The United States Can No Longer Afford To Be The Police Of The World. . .
By Michael Snyder, on July 2nd, 2011. . .
Did you know that the United States military is now bombing 6 different countries? U.S. aircraft are conducting air strikes in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen and now Somalia. There is a U.S. military base in over half of the countries on the planet and U.S. military spending is over 7 times larger than the military spending of any other nation on earth. Yes, the United States will always need a strong military. But with our national debt exploding at an exponential rate, can the United States really afford to continue to be the police of the world?
There are always going to be nutjobs in other countries that want to destroy the United States. In fact, the more we bomb the more they seem to multiply. The federal government seems obsessed with stamping out all terrorists wherever they may be found around the globe. But how will we ever know if we have gotten all of them? Does our government intend to occupy all of the countries of the Middle East eventually? Do we really have to police the entire globe in order to feel secure at home?
Trying to be the police of the world is getting awfully expensive. We have run up almost 4 trillion dollars more debt since Barack Obama was elected. Many thought that Barack Obama would reduce our foreign entanglements, but instead he has greatly expanded them.
In an article posted on a major UK news source describing the new U.S. airstrikes in Somalia, Declan Walsh noted that this is now the 6th country that the U.S. military is bombing on a regular basis….
Armed Predator and Reaper drones already operate in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen and Libya, where they are controlled by the US military or the CIA.
So are all of these airstrikes winning any “hearts and minds”?
Hardly.
Only 3 percent of the population of Pakistan supports our drone strikes in that country.
What we are doing is not working.
Perhaps it is time to fundamentally reassess our foreign policy.
Barack Obama seems to have gotten a real taste for using the military. He didn’t even bother to ask Congress when we started bombing Libya, and now there are persistent rumors that U.S. ground forces may soon be involved.
In fact, high ranking Russian diplomat Dmitry Rogozin says that he is convinced that NATO is beginning preparations for a ground invasion of Libya….
“I think that now we are witnessing the preparation stage of a ground operation which NATO, or at least some of its members… are ready to begin”
But Libya is not the only place that U.S. troops may be sent to.
The way that Obama administration officials are talking, war with Syria could potentially be on the horizon.
Things are getting really crazy out there. The U.S. government is absolutely drowning in debt and yet we think that we can push around everyone else in the world.
This even extends to nations that are supposed to be our allies. According to the Jerusalem Post, Barack Obama has given Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a one month ultimatum to agree to resume peace talks with the Palestinians based on pre-1967 borders.
The U.S. government doesn’t even try to do much diplomacy in the Middle East anymore. It seems like threats, ultimatums and bombings are the preferred tools.
The rest of the world is going to remember our arrogance and our ruthlessness. When the United States needs help someday, the rest of the world might not be very inclined to give it.
Right now, the U.S. government is essentially bankrupt and the U.S. financial system is on the verge of the collapse. We have got to stop spending so much money.
The following are 16 reasons why the United States can no longer afford to be the police of the world….
#1 Prior to the beginning of the “War on Terror” our national debt was under 6 trillion dollars. Today, it has more than doubled and currently sits at a whopping 14.3 trillion dollars.
#2 Today, the U.S. military is in nearly 130 different nations and it has a total of about 700 military bases around the globe. It costs approximately 100 billion dollars each year to maintain these military bases.
#3 U.S. military spending is greater than the military spending of China, Russia, Japan, India, and the rest of NATO combined.
#4 The United States already accounts for 46.5% of all military spending on the planet. China is next with only 6.6%.
#5 If Bill Gates gave every penny of his fortune to the U.S. government, it would only cover the U.S. budget deficit for 15 days.
#6 When you throw in all “off budget” items and other categories of “defense spending” not covered in the Pentagon budget you get a grand total of somewhere between $1.01 and $1.35 trillion spent on national defense in 2010.
#7 The U.S. government borrows an average of about 168 million more dollars every single hour.
#8 The Pentagon currently gobbles up 56 percent of all discretionary spending by the federal government.
#9 Between 2007 and 2010, U.S. GDP grew by only 4.26%, but the U.S. national debt soared by 61% during that same time period.
#10 The cost for the first week of airstrikes on Libya was 600 million dollars. Keep in mind that the leader of the opposition in Libya has admitted that his forces contain large numbers of the same “al-Qaeda fighters” that were shooting at American troops in Iraq. So we are going broke and we are helping al-Qaeda take power in Libya at the same time.
#11 The total price tag for each F-22 fighter jet is approximately $350 million.
#12 Over the past decade, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost U.S. taxpayers well over a trillion dollars.
#13 If you went out today and started spending one dollar every single second, it would take you over 31,000 years to spend one trillion dollars.
#14 Since 2001, the total cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan breaks down to well over $3,600 for every man, woman and child in the United States.
#15 Just one day of the war in Afghanistan costs more money than it took to build the entire Pentagon.
#16 The United States government is now responsible for more than a third of all the government debt in the entire world.
The U.S. national debt is escalating out of control and all of these wars are not helping one bit.
Occupying and bombing all of these nations is not even making us safer. In fact, it is creating more enemies than it is destroying.
In addition, our military is now spread so incredibly thin that there are real questions about our ability to respond if a major threat did actually arise.
If you support our troops, then you should want the U.S. government to stop trying to police the world. We are getting a lot of young men and women hurt and killed and we are accomplishing a whole lot of nothing.
At the same time we are bombing nations all over the globe, Barack Obama is absolutely gutting our strategic nuclear arsenal and has made us far more vulnerable to real threats such as Russia and China.
It is almost as if our government is cursed. It just cannot seem to do anything right these days. Virtually everything that either George W. Bush or Barack Obama has tried to do has been an utter failure.
Look, I am pro-military. My father was in the military. The United States will always need a very strong military.
But trying to police the world is stupid. Occupying and bombing countries all over the Middle East is a massive strategic mistake and it is creating a lot of new enemies.
Plus all of this military spending is contributing significantly to our national debt nightmare.
If someone can explain why I am wrong I would love to hear from you.
Sir: you are 100 per cent right on target. Poch Suzara

Senator Miriam D. Santiago
"At least in the physical universe, there is a creator. In the senate there are 24 senators. We do not know who created them. Senator Miriam D. santiago...
Oh my dear Senator Miriam D. Santiago, let's stop kidding around. All of the 24 senators, including yourself were all created by the Catholic church via its schools, colleges, and university. Such commercial enterprises are keeping the Filipinos as a people educated to remain forever poor and backward with silly beliefs and silly values. Walking After Breakfast
Most men, I dare say, would rather be fucking before breakfast and then be praying after breakfast. Praying especially for the forgiveness of their sins by a silly God existing somewhere out there in space called "heaven." ...
As with me, already a 77 year old senior citizen, before breakfast, I enjoy doing a lot of reading and thinking. After breakfast, however, I happily do daily about 1 mile of walking. While walking, I am also doing a lot of mental editing. Oh yes, one of the greatest joys in life is the joy of thinking while walking; especially the kind of thinking that encourages one to enjoy the freedom of expression by doing more writing...
Sadly, most men are educated to be selfish, greedy, frightened, stupid, and insane. They have neither the time nor the energy to creatively question anything. They only love to believe, nay, to have faith in a lot of deadly nothing!...
In the meantime, our sick society continues to be the sick reflection of a sick system of education. It is what makes us famous as the Sick Children of Asia. In this already 21st century, we are still under the historical power, glory, and authority of Christianity established in the Philippines since the 16th century. Thus, as the Sick Children of Asia - we are all looking forward to getting old ourselves and be among the sick old criminals enjoying not the spread of common human decency, but enjoying instead freedom and democracy as inspired and blessed by the silly teachings of Christianity in our poor, backward, and spiritually sick country. One does not simply protect the earth without abolishing capitalism. Anonymous... In the Philippines, if we filipinos have hopes to love, protect, and defend our country, we must abolish not only capitalism, but also, especially, abolish catholicism. The two evils have always been inextricably mixed and profitably always in cahoots together... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Streets in the Philippines
In the Philippines: in our major cities, the streets are no longer only streets, but are now also used as parking lots. There is, however,
a more horrible side to this story: all of those millions of vehicles - cars, buses, jeepneys, motorcycles, tricycles, and bicycles are not made in the Philippines. They are all manufactured in, imported from, other Asian non-Christian countries. We Filipinos have neither the time nor the education to develop in our country the power of science and technology. We are already too proud and busy with our childish daily prayers to a silly divinity as historically inspired by silly Catholic theology! Poch Suzara Twitter# facebook# Google#
The Yolanda Super Typhoon Victims and Our Arrested Senator in Jail
Lacson accepts job as ‘Yolanda’ rehab czar
By Nancy C. Carvajal

Monday, December 2nd, 2013
Former Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has accepted President Benigno Aquino’s offer for him to be the rehabilitation czar who will oversee reconstruction in the regions that Supertyphoon “Yolanda” devastated last month.
Lacson said Sunday night that Mr. Aquino had acknowledged his acceptance of the offer to oversee the rehabilitation efforts of the government that would cost more than P40 billion.
In a text message to the Inquirer, Lacson said he accepted “the job offer after getting a series of briefings over the weekend from experts of the field of reconstruction and rehabilitation of disaster-stricken areas.”
As the rehabilitation czar, Lacson will manage not only funding from the government but also foreign assistance running into tens of millions of dollars meant for towns and cities in central Philippines.
He said Mr. Aquino offered the position to him at a meeting in MalacaƱang last week. But he said he asked the President that he be given three days to “mull it over” and to “conduct consultations with experts in connection with the rebuilding of towns and cities decimated by the super typhoon.”
“When the President asked me if I could be in charge of rehabilitation efforts, I did not immediately say, ‘Yes,’ and asked for time to think about it because I know it’s a daunting task and it’s also not my area of expertise,” he said.
Had the President offered something in the line of law enforcement, Lacson said he would have immediately said yes.
He was earlier reported to be the choice of the administration to head an anticorruption commission.
Lacson, a former Philippine National Police chief, said he was reluctant to immediately accept the offer to become the rehabilitation czar because he did not want to do a haphazard job.
“I want to do the job with flying colors. I want to do the best for the job,” he said.
Lacson was known to have not touched his pork barrel during his 12-year stint in the Senate.
Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano earlier pushed for Lacson to investigate the pork barrel scam “because of his impeccable record against corruption and his unwavering stand against the pork barrel.”
It has been three weeks since Yolanda decimated the provinces of Samar and Leyte, destroying houses and infrastructure and displacing millions of people.
Mr. Aquino has increased the proposed funding for communities devastated by Yolanda from P38.8 billion to P40.9 billion. The money was expected to go to housing, infrastructure, livelihood and employment opportunities, local facilities and social services.
The entire P40.9 billion could be fully funded in the 2013 General Appropriations Act. Last week, the Senate passed a P14.5-billion supplemental budget.
Yolanda devastated 171 municipalities, covering 4,971 villages in an area of 25,000 square kilometers and affecting 6.6 million people.
As of Sunday, the death toll stood at 5,632, with 26,136 people injured and 1,759 missing.

NOTE:
Today, June 22, 2014, it has turned out that the corrupt, maka-Dios, maka-Jesus, senator Bong Revilla, arrested and now in jail accused
of plunder and other high crimes against the Filipino people has a more decent accommodations than the hundred of thousands of
the "Yolanda Victims" in tacloban. This is made possible by the followers of Jesus in the Philippines, as he in heaven, and in hell... Poch Suzara, Twitter# Facebook# Google#
