The worst kind of poverty is the poverty of mind. The poorest, indeed, are those who proudly claim that nobody loves them except God. These poverty-stricken people would rather wait for the second coming of a foreigner – a Jewish Lord named Jesus to remedy the ills of our sick society rather than participate in the growth and development of our own country.
