Health

Is health a gift from God? Is health the result of prayer to God? We are told that health is the greatest of wealth. Perhaps, in space, but not in time. Indeed, life is so brief, short, and fleeting. Think of it: the day we are born is the day we begin to live in a dying body. Now we are also told that God created man in his own image and likeness. Is this some sort of a joke? Why would God create man only to be dying sooner than later? More to the point: why would God, our creator, be interested in us not while we live, but only after we are dead? Don't we humans need a God who is lively; not a God who is deadly? Poch Suzara
