My Dear Rogers
My dear Rogers, I was one very lucky student who fortunately got expelled out of La Salle high school. Believe me, my friend, the massacre the Japanese soldiers did in killing Christian Brothers and other Christians in La Salle compound during WW2 was tragic, but not tragic enough compared to the ever relentless KILLINGS of minds and hearts of hundreds of thousands of Filipino students in La Salle acquiring a so-called "education." You can still see the results on the Filipino way of life in general. Still slavish as a people; and still mentally malnourished as a nation today. Still praying daily to God to give us this day our daily bread and to lead us not into temptation. So that when the result of such devotion ends up as a nothing - the most we can do is to organize more prayer rallies to pray to Mary, Mother of God, to pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, amen.
I ask: do any of you ever wonder why we are still spiritually poor as a people and still morally backward as a nation? Please take a good look at our sick system of catholic education! In La Salle - grade school, high school, and college students would utter these words several times in class daily: ST JOHN BAPTIST DE LA SALLE, PRAY FOR US, AND LEAVE JESUS IN OUR HEARTS, FOREVER.
Well, is it any wonder that millions of Filipinos as products of such sick education have nothing but Jesus in their minds and hearts? Indeed, have nothing to look forward to except to that better world to come after death with God in heaven? Of course, at the same time, we are also often reminded that the Father of Jesus - God, any rate, WILL SOON PROVIDE? I asked: with what? With more spiritual garbage, if not with more ecclesiastical trash more referred to as BLESSINGS FROM GOD?
I said it before, I say it again: take a serious look at our politicians in and out of government: they are frightened men and women as stupid believers, and even more useless as citizens of our country in desperate for courageous and intelligent thinkers! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#
