If you want attention as a writer, you can start by TELLING THE TRUTH. That's a poor way of gaining popularity - using falsehood to draw attention to yourself.
Come to Ang Dating Daan Conventional Center on a Saturday when they have weekly thanksgiving. You will see the many poor people there being helped by Bro. Eli beginning with free meals. Visit the orphanages all over the country that house not only orphans but widows thrown away by their families and adopted by Bro. Eli. Learn about the transient houses he has put up in the country. Ask the Smokey Mountain people which preacher goes to them to serve them.
Do these things happen in other religious groups? I bet you there is none other than Ang Dating Daan doing these acts of charity.
I agree with your post[the richer and the poorer]. heck, if people want to be rich then they should work for it. or if they want knowledge they should think for it.
