Poverty, Stupidity, Insanity as the Holy Trinity

Satan took Jesus to a mountaintop and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory in them, saying: “All these things I will give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” Matt. 4:8-9. . . Was Jesus such a mediocre fellow, a simpleton, gullible enough not to have questioned Satan? When and how did Satan acquire the legal rights and the Torren Titles registered to those kingdoms of the world?. . . In the meantime, think how well Jesus could have served as the king of kings. As the emperor of the world. Think of the brilliant and loving things he could have made happen with such power, could have ruled with such great authority. He could have created a social system to remedy poverty. Done much to equalize wealth. Established universal education. Instituted civil liberties. Brought peace among warring nations. He could done all this and, through such service, established global peace, tranquility, and sanity. He could have gone down in world history as not only the most powerful, but also the most wise, the most just, the most kind, and the most humane king that ever graced the human race. . . But no. Jesus, instead, declared: “Love not this world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” John 2:15. . . Thus, poverty and stupidity and insanity are one and the same holy trinity otherwise more known as Christianity; especially in the Philippines – the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century.
