In the meantime, under such destruction, God is nowhere to be found each time we need him even for a little restoration, nay, a little earthly salvation.

Why would we be insecure ? According to Pascal's wager if there is a God we win while you lose, how can that be insecurity ? If there is no god we both get nothing, at least we have a chance of winning, get it ?

The first is that it somehow proves god exists, even though it offers no such evidence. It merely plays on your fears.
The second is that people have a choice in whether or not they believe in something. You can try to trick yourself into believing in something, but deep down you'll know that you're lying to yourself.
The third is that the Christian god is the only god. The fact of the matter is that there are thousands of religions with thousands of gods, and unless one believes in all of them and serves them all (which is impossible, given that many religions state you can only serve their god), you're still taking a huge risk. How do you know that your god is the right god? The only difference between atheists and believers is that atheists go one god further in their disbelief.

Pascal's wager doesnt prove God, it shows how sensible belief in God is. It is all logic which you dont have.

In the US, the entire state of Utah is almost all-Mormons! A presidential candidate in the last US elections was a Mormon. Worldwide, membership is more than 10 millions. In the Philippines, the LDS church is growing. I'm not sure who needs a lot of reading here.

TRUTH will always be truth even if no one believes it. Even if the whole world will become Mormon, the book of Mormon is still not TRUTH.

Each one of you will have a different interpretation of genesis, guarantee! Because most Catholics don't read the Bible, especially Filipino Catholics, most of them are Catholics in name only, they don't have a clue of what 'genesis' is.

You seem to be atheist. But you seem to hate God in all your posts. I mean one cannot hate something that he dosen't believe in. So, in fact, you believe in God, but hate him. So you're not an atheist; just an angry human being blaming God for everything that has happened in society. Perhaps, you just missed the whole point of the Bible.
Tell me something? If Jesus did not ressurect from the dead, where is his body???? Because if His body were not found until now (given the advancement of science), then it is true that he resuurected from the dead. And if he resurrected from the dead then what follows is that everything he said were true for his resurrection was his most outrageous claim and he proved it. I don't need to mention that all the miracles (because they are beyond scientific explanations. He just says " Be healed" and they were healed") have been documented not only by the writers in Gospels but also by enemies, skeptics who lived during his day. You should research more. Try reading books like "The case for Christ" and "The case for God" by Lee Strobel, who himself was a FORMER (Isn't that Amazing?) atheist.
As a child of his parents, the Bible is silent because it is not necessary to be detailed. So you can't say he wasn't a good son to his parents just because it is silent. But the Bible gives us a glimpse. The Bible says, "And Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and men". It says,"IN FAVOR...WITH MEN". That would tell you that he was really GOOD. So much better that all of us.:)

Truth is not in religion but in a person, Jesus Christ. I'm not Catholic. But I'm a Christian. I believe the Bible has sole authority, Not including Traditions, as catholics would believe because that is against Biblical principles. In fact, the most people in prison are Catholics. So it would be wrong to claim that the true chuch is the Roman Catholic Church. I mean, it was one of the early Christian churches gone corrupt because of pagan leaders in the church (try reading the History of Christianity). Just knowing how the Philippines was converted to Christianity (by the sword) and how the priests and friars abused and raped some of the Filipinos would tell you the corruption in the catholic church. Church means "called out ones". It doesn't necessarily mean an ORGANIZATION but people who have been called from darkness in to the light. A person can be a part of God's family by surrendering his life to Christ totally and receiving Him into his life. That's what the Bible says and that is what I believe. When we go to church, it is just to fellowship with fellow believers and worhship God. Christ did not call us to religion but to a lifestyle of righteousness, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, nobility, and everything that is good by His grace and power. Therefore a person who has Christ in his life or has genuinely surrendered to Christ should daily be changed "from glory to glory" and be a blessing to society and the world as a whole. So just because we go to church or we belong to a religion does not make us a Christian as a rat in a cookie jar doesn't make it a cookie. In fact if you let the Bible speak for itself, Christ never called us to religion (which is made by man) but to Himself, a life lived for HIM, a lifestyle and a worship not based on routines and motions but a "worship in spirit and in truth".
