I am told that as long as we keep our eyes on Christ, obstacles become opportunities.
I ask: opportunities to accomplish what as a people; or, to achieve what as a nation - the only nation in Asia that believes Christ is the Savior of the world!
In the meantime, if we take a serious look at the mess in our world today, could any of you religious morons explain how Jesus Christ has saved the world? Poch Suzara

Is the Philippines really the only Christian nation in the region? That's an interesting point!
I guess you're not including Australia but their not really Asian anyway.
So, it would appear that Christianity is no indicator of worldly prosperity. More specifically, given the demographics here, it's the Catholic church that is most indicted by the harsh realities of life in the Philippines.
