Millions of Filipinos Do Not Live by Bread Alone

"It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 . . . Well, here are examples of words that come from the mouth of Jesus - words that millions of us Filipinos love to live by: "If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my discipline." Luke 14:26. This simply means that we filipinos do not live by bread alone; we also live by hating our family and our country. Indeed, as products of a sick system of education, look how we Filipinos are taught to have faith in God while we are proud of ourselves as the Sick and the Corrupt Man of Asia. Look how we Filipinos only know how to love divinity up there, specially by hating humanity down here. We Filipinos are born ignorant, not sick and corrupt. We are made sick and corrupt via schools, colleges, and universities established and operated by the moral and historical authority of the catholic church in the Philippines.
