Inherit What Wind

"Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise of heart." Prov. 11:29. What about the millions of poor Filipinos who have neither homes nor lawyers to defend them - what do they inherit as they are the fools and the servants of the filthy rich Catholic bishops who live in expensive palaces in the Philippines? Poch, in a world without God, you have no principled complaint against poverty, abuse, servitude, and man's inhumanity to man. You want to rail against God, but He is not there. But that means He did not do it. So who did it? There is no who. Only sky above us and only dirt below. In short, you have no right to exhibit the lightest bit of indignation over the inequalities among the poor and the rich for they are all just particular end products of mindless evolution. Ken, during grade school, high school, and in college we are told to believe that God created man in his own image and likeness. I have every right to question why God also created poverty for the sake if his own image and likeness too? Cheers! Poch Suzara

Poch, the causes of continuing poverty are complex, such as national laws, economic policies, and cultural values. Many here in America were formerly "poor" but by their diligence and a little luck, they have overcome poverty. People don't necessarily have to remain poor. One black social commentator admonishes the young black men in the inner cities: "A sure way to escape poverty is to finish High School, have a job, get married and stay married." Poch, is being poor always evil? As an atheist, a moral relativist or even a nihilist, what is your logical objection to evil? Blessings! Ken Sidadayaw

Ken, here is my logical objection to evil. In the history of wars, it has never been about GOOD versus EVIL. It has always been about EVIL versus EVIL and EVIL always won. Cheers! Poch Suzara
