happy new year! Agree with you 100% on this. i don't know if this is really conscious self-deception or just plain laziness of Filipinos to do more research about their so-called religion. Either way it is a tragedy indeed. John Lennon got it right when he said 'nothing to kill or die for; and no religion too'.

Poch, I know you do not believe that God is there, and you are also very angry with Him for not being there. If you and John and Anonymous are right, you just want to rage, but there is no object for your anger. Imagine there's no heaven or hell, just the sky above and dirt below you and them. Atrocities? What atrocities? You have no right to exhibit the slightest bit of indignation over "atrocities" allegedly committed by these particular end products of mindless evolution. That's how nature is supposed to behave in a godless universe. Deal with it.

Ken, I have a better, a more meaningful song for you. It's MY WAY. Listen: WHAT IS A MAN, WHAT HAS HE GOT, IF NOT HIMSELF, THEN HE HAS NOT, TO SAY THE THINGS HE TRULY FEELS, AND NOT THE WORDS OF ONE WHO KNEELS, LET THE RECORD SHOW, I TOOK THE BLOWS, AND DID IT MY WAY. Cheers! Poch Suzara

Ken, why are you bothered with the fact that I am angry at something that you admit does not exist? In the meantime Ken, think about it: WHAT IS INVISIBLE WHAT DOES NOT EXIST AMOUNT TO THE SAME THING! Poch Suzara

Poch, is Frank Sinatra your poster boy for atheist free thinkers like you? Have you read about his life? His many accomplishments may be admirable, but what about the bouts with depression, the failed marriages, the alleged connection with the mob, the booze and the prostitutes? His grave marker reads, "The Best Is Yet To Come." If he was an atheist most of his life, he didn't sound like one at death. If you do it your own way, how will your life be different from Frank's? The Bible says that apart from the grace of God, people do what is right in their own eyes.

Poch, I don't accept your belief in naturalism, or your belief that all things must be observed by the senses. If that's true then you can't believe in the laws of logic since they cannot be observed by the senses. Logical reasoning is impossible if your beliefs were true. Laws of logic only make sense if biblical creation is true.

Ken, are you really that bothered with the fact that in order for you to live a meaningful life you must only complicate the nature of existence and never try to simplify it? We atheists have no taste to complicate life. We simply live it. We have NOTHING TO DIE FOR. BUT WE DO HAVE EVERYTHING TO LIVE FOR! That's all!
