The Infinity, Stupidity, and Divinity

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe"... Albert Einstein. For my part, I say, why should we bother to believe that it is important for the finite mind of man to understand the infinite mind of God? Isn't it far more important to prove first not that God is infinite, but that such a God, in fact, do exists! So God is this! God is that! So what? The plain truth is that such a God is never, but never OMNIPRESENT, only always OMNIABSENT. For my part, I'd like to see us dealing direct with God or God is dealing direct with us without the stupidity of a 3rd party involved as a necessary mystery! . . . Poch, I believe this statement was meant by Albert as a joke. For one thing, only God the Creator is infinite, eternal and unchangeable. The created universe is not infinite because it had a beginning and it is still expanding. The many galaxies are spinning and traveling at incredible speed getting farther and farther away from one another into the outer reaches of space. And about human stupidity being infinite; I believe this is just a hyperbole.

Ken, are you trying hard to admit that you are trying also not to be stupid for the rest of your life? Cheers! Ken, we are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education; especially catholic education! Cheers! Poch Suzara

Poch, if we are made stupid by education, how does that exempt you?
