Poch, atheism implies amorality. There's no need for you to choose the lesser evil from among many evils. If you believe that as an atheist you can still believe in morality, you're just being a "softie."

Poch, why are you so upset that God drowned the unrepentant, mocking, wicked sinners in the great flood? Just like the "amorals" of our day, they did what was good in their own eyes. As an atheist, you believe that no one made people. There was nothing, and then, over time, there were millions of people. Besides, for an atheist, there’s no absolute right and there’s no absolute wrong. In your book, God ultimately didn’t do anything morally wrong. So, next time you are upset about God and his judgments, remember that if people came by the process of evolution (and all people die), God didn't kill them, evolution did. So get mad at your own beliefs and lighten up when it comes to others. Love and let live.
Poch, people died in the great flood. So what? All people die. Sooner or later, everyone will die. God said that the soul that sins, he must die. He also said, the wages of sin is death, and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; there is none righteous, no, not one. The proof that you and I are sinners is that you and I will die. But God also said that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. He who has Christ has the life, he who does not have Christ does not have life. Poch, you're kicking against the goads. You're running away from the only source of hope for eternal life.
