Nobel Prize Winners

There are Nobel Prize Winners in Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Medicine, Literature, and Peace. Between 1901 and 2012, the Nobel Prizes and the Prize in Economic Sciences were awarded 555 times to 863 people and organizations. With some receiving the Nobel Prize more than once, this makes a total of 835 individuals and 21 organizations. There never was, however, a Filipino who ever won any of the Nobel Prizes. This is only because there is no Nobel Prize awarded for CORRUPTION; ESPECIALLY CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENT AS INSTALLED BY THE DIVINE WILL OF A CATHOLIC GOD! Poch, I agree that there is no Nobel prize awarded for corruption, nor there should be. But I don't agree that it was the God of the Bible who installed the corrupt government in the Philippines. You're always blaming the wrong person. Your crusade to right wrongs may be sincere and honorable, but you will only fail if you keep blame-shifting. God requires honesty and prohibits lying. If a merchant, you are to use accurate scales. The Puritan work ethic involved honesty and integrity and brought prosperity to individuals, cities and nations. You want prosperity? Do you want to eliminate corruption? Go back to the Bible. Read the book of Proverbs. Be not hearers of the word only, but be doers also.

Yes, indeed, Ken, please read your bible and I suggest you read Isaiah 45:7 I FORM THE LIGHT AND CREATE DARKNESS: I MAKE PEACE AND CREATE EVIL: I THE LORD DO THESE THINGS." Cheers! Poch Suzara

Poch, don't get tied down to the King James Bible translation of 1611. The Hebrew word "rah" may be translated "wicked," "bad," "hurt," "harm," "ill," "sorrow," "mischief," "displeased," "adversity," "affliction," "trouble," "calamity," "grievous," "misery," and "trouble." So we can see that the word does not require that it be translated as "evil." This is why different Bible translations render this verse differently. It is translated as "calamity" by the NASB and NKJV; "disaster" by the NIV; and "woe" by the RSV. And the context is natural phenomena, not wicked evil. Jesus says, “You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God. (Matthew 22:29)
