The Unpardonable Sin

"Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. "Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. Matt. 12:31 I said it before, I say it again: look how we Filipinos never, but never commit the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. But we are able to easily commit other sins and then take advantage of the FORGIVENESS OF SINS via the sacrament of CONFESSION. Even our corrupt congressmen and corrupt senators with so much faith in the Holy Spirit - have not any remorse or regret about stealing BILLIONS OF PESOS of the people's money - money needed for expenses of our growth as a decent people, and expenses for our development as a decent nation. In the meantime, since the 16th century, the Catholic Church was married to poverty, slavery, and indignities. Today, in this already 21st century the church is married to prosperity, personality, grandiosity, and popularity. Indeed, specially married to corrupt high government officials most of them thieves wallowing in wealth, power, and glory as blessed by a divinity always inspired by the endless existence of deviltry. Poch, are you guilty of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? How do you know when you are guilty of it? If you are guilty, do you deserve to go to hell? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Ken, I asked it before, I ask it again: OH HOLY, MY DEAR HOLY SPIRIT, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU A HOLY SPIRIT FOR? I know that is a sin of Blasphemy against the holy spirit because I never got any answer from the HOLY SPIRIT as to my question. Cheers! Poch Suzara

Poch, blasphemy is a forgivable sin. Even blasphemy against Jesus May be forgiven. But the blasphemy against the Spirit was something more serious and irremediable. It not only reflected unbelief, but determined unbelief-the refusal, after having seen all the evidence necessary to complete understanding, even to consider believing in Christ. This was blasphemy against Jesus in His deity, against the Spirit of God who uniquely indwelt and empowered Him. It reflected determined rejection of Jesus as the Messiah against every evidence and argument. It reflected seeing the truth incarnate and then knowingly rejecting Him and condemning Him. It demonstrated an absolute and permanent refusal to believe, which resulted in loss of opportunity ever to be forgiven … either in this age, or in the age to come. Through this age (all of human history), such rejection is unforgivable. The age to come implies that through all of eternity there will be no forgiveness. In the age of human history and in the age of divine consummation, no forgiveness. Run to Jesus while there is time. There goes another minute. One more day closer to the grave and to face judgment. I care where you spend eternity, my dear Poch.
