Rotten Wisdom Revealed in the Holy Bible
Believers in the traditional religion necessarily look to the past for inspiration rather than to the future. They seek wisdom in the teachings of Christ, which admirable as it is, remains quite inadequate for many of the social and spiritual issues of modern life. Art and intellect and all the problems of government are ignored in the gospel. Bertrand Russell
Oh Russell, my dear Bertrand Russell, with all due respect, here are 10 examples of rotten wisdom written in the holy bible:
"I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man. She must be quiet." (1 Timothy 2:12)
"Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has under the ban. Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and asses." (1 Samuel 15:3)
"You shall not let a sorceress live." (Exodus 22:18)
"Happy those who seize your children and smash them against a rock." (Psalm 137:9)
"When the men would not listen to his host, the husband seized his concubine and thrust her outside to them. They had relations with her and abused her all night until the following dawn, when they let her go. Then at daybreak the woman came and collapsed at the entrance of the house in which her husband was a guest, where she lay until the morning. When her husband rose that day and opened the door of the house to start out again on his journey, there lay the woman, his concubine, at the entrance of the house with her hands on the threshold. He said to her, 'Come, let us go'; but there was no answer. So the man placed her on an ass and started out again for home." (Judges 19:25-28)

I said I'm going to comment on each article you post. Your bible objections have already been answered before. This is already getting tired and boring. Again, you have no principled objection to what you claim are evil deeds, since you are a moral relativist and nihilist. What one bag of protein does to another should not bother you one bit. You are only making up your own standards.
Ken, as a man of self-respect and dignity, it is my business to make my own standard of living; especially, thinking. Indeed, I am an atheist and ATHEISM today is a worldwide movement without frightened followers. We atheists are all brightened leaders - leaders of our own thoughts and destiny. Cheers, Poch
Poch, you claim to have self-respect and dignity, that you are a bright leader. This is what God thinks of people like you: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Poch, I say this without malice or contempt. But I think you're asking the wrong question. Instead you should be asking what good are you for since you're alienated from the God who gave you life and continues to sustain you. He gives you food and drink and the air you breath, and in return you use his name in vain. Instead of thanking him, you curse him and blaspheme him. Are you not just being an ingrate? I ask that politely. I care for you dearly, Poch.
Ken, don't you think that since you believe that God exists, why not question God? Why question me? Your God has the power, the kingdom, and the glory. I have nothing? In the meantime, where is God?
