Poverty in the Philippines
Poverty in the Philippines, especially of the worst kind - poverty of the mind and heart, comes mostly from the religious morons - most of them college-educated. They believe that to be bothered by the vulgar standard of living in this only Catholic country in Asia is not as horrible, is not as despicable, is not as dreadful as compared to the vulgar standard of writing by a Poch Suzara.

The Protestant work ethic, also known as Puritan work ethic, produced the vast wealth of Northern Europe and North America. Unfortunately, the Philippines is shot through with the Roman Catholic work ethic, or the lack thereof.
The socialist experiment in the soviet union and its allies was an utter failure. It's time to bury socialism. The West on the other hand is living on borrowed capital from the Protestant Reformers, otherwise known as the Calvinistic or Puritan work ethics
