God and the Fireman

God says that it is not his business to save a child from burning inside a building on fire because, to begin with, He did not cause the fire. And yet, a fireman saves a child inside a burning building even if the fireman did not also cause the fire! Isn’t it strange that a fireman could play God because God himself refuses to play God? Christianity

Christianity has done very little to promote civilization; in fact, Christianity has done a great deal to retard it.

In this 21st century Philippines, for example, there is hardly even a semblance of civilization. In the 19th century, for writing two great books based on the power of ideas and the values of civilization throughout his land, Christianity had our Jose Rizal arrested, tried, and executed by firing squad.

I submit, if Christianity had instead promoted, not shamelessly demoted, - the impact of Rizal’s writings, the Filipinos would be one of the most highly respected people and the Philippines one of the most greatly admired nations in all of Asia today. Where is Hell

Nobody, but nobody knows what mode of transportation can be used to travel to hell. Nobody, but nobody knows the direction on how to get to hell. Nobody, but nobody knows even if hell has an address? And yet, religious morons never cease to ask: if there is a hell?

I am told that evolution is evidence of God. God is part of nature that man has not yet studied.
If this were true, however, then God is natural, not supernatural. But then again, if God were part of nature, why would he declare such nonsense like: “My kingdom is not of this world?”

Divine Plan

Was God really that all-knowing? Did God have ample experiences so as to insist that he could remedy human affairs and improve global events?

Instead of creating Adam and Eve, He should have first created for himself a mom and dad, a wife and in-laws, grandma and grandpa, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, uncles and aunties, and cousins. In this way, God need not have been lonely as a supernatural orphan living all alone in the vast universal darkness. If God does not exist, everything is permitted? On the contrary, according to the priesthood industry, God exists and therefore everything is permitted. If you come right down to it, there is little difference between some of the goals of the Christian and the Atheist: both value helping their fellow man.

The Atheist, however, is drawn to this goal out of unselfish love and sympathy – which arise from his sense of human decency and intelligence. For the Atheist, the ultimate goal in life is human happiness by making others also happy.

The Christian, sad to say, is driven to it out of fear for his own eternal welfare. For him, helping his fellow man is not an end in itself, but only a means of saving himself from damnation.

The Atheist realizes that he could be mistaken about what his best for his fellow man; so he is willing to change his mind. He welcomes criticisms.

The Christian cannot admit that his ideas of right and wrong might be mistaken, because to doubt would, again, imperil his immortal soul.

Thus, highly-indoctrinated, the Christian is a blind, senseless, panic-stricken victim who must keep running until he drops. Jose Rizal

If Christianity had not dragged Jose Rizal down and get him executed for promoting the power of science and reason, the Philippines today would be the most developed and the most advanced country in Asia today. Especially in the race to achieve the higher standard of thought as a free people and the higher standard of independence as a free nation.

Indeed, because of the tragic fate of great thinkers like our Jose, Rizal, the freedom of thought and the power of reason have never played seminal roles within our system of education. It is, in this way, we Filipinos in this 21st century are only more destructive and more at home with political and social decadence.

As disciples, followers and admirers of Jose Rizal, we Filipinos could have been more creative and familiar with the power of science and its devotion to the truth under the beauty of human intelligence.

Jose Rizal would never write such scientific nonsense as published in “Rizal’s Life: Works and Writings: Their impact on our national legacy written by Capino, Gonzalez, and Pineda:

“It is our duty to follow the arid but peaceful and productive paths of science which lead to progress and thence to the unity desired and asked by Jesus Christ on the night of his sorrow.” Page 82

It is evident that a man with the caliber of scientific outlook on life cannot let himself be submissive by biblical texts or by teachings of the Catholic friars who hated him. I am suggesting Rizal never wrote those words referring to Jesus Christ. Religious morons added those words to Rizal’s writings to make him look like he never abandoned his faith that kills. It is hard to be an atheist if you were not an avid reader; especially if you have not thoroughly and properly read the bible. Astronomy explains how we live on a speck of debris from a cosmic explosion billions of years ago.

Geology explains how brief is our existence on this earth both as individuals and as a species.

Biology explains how through millions of years, we humans evolved and are still evolving from lower into higher forms of life.

But we are told that with faith in God – we shall all be saved after death. Otherwise, we will be punished eternally in hell, - again a place where even the most brilliant of Filipino theologians have no idea whatsoever as to where exactly hell is located out there whether it is outside or inside the universe. Incredibly Stupid

It is not incredible to see why poor people need money. What’s incredibly stupid, however, is to see people already rich still needing more money. The rich morons naturally cannot see that there is such a thing as poverty of the worst kind – the poverty of the mind. I have met a few of these rich morons who need more money to support their drug-addict sons and grandsons, if not alcoholic daughters and grand-daughters.

In countries that enjoy social or political decadence they have individuals known as the rich and the famous. We too have those in the Philippines. Most Subjects

Think of it: most subjects taught to children as formative years in grade school have neither social nor practical value for this life. By the time, however, they finish high school and college, most of the youth of our land are more familiar with the hereafter than they are prepared for this good life – one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. The Trouble

The trouble with most men is their lack of self-respect and dignity. They are also incapable of genuine and lasting love. What do the Spaniards, Japanese, Americans, Chinese, Koreans, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Thais, Australians, British, Germans, and, especially, indeed the rich and powerful citizens of the Vatican State - all have in common? These foreigners are now rightful land owners of the Republic of the Philippines. During the past decades, ever since we were granted independence by America, and for personal gain, our high government officials have been busy selling Philippine assets and properties to any wealthy foreign investor buying.

Catholic Bishops

The Catholic bishops have never taught the Filipino self-respect as a people or even dignity as a nation. In fact, these bishops have only been hungry for thought control of our women and our children, and not to mention pretty much insane for secular power too.
Consider the vast majority of the Filipinos taught always that it is better to believe than it is to know? That no matter what, there is always available from God the forgiveness of sins and crimes? Thus, kickbacks in public office, cronyism and nepotism, smuggling, lying, cheating, corruption, etc are not sins or crimes, but rather blessings from God with opportunities to forgive the fall of men. Three Masters

No man can serve two masters. Matt. 6:22-24. Gee, Matthew, you are so damned right. It is ridiculous to serve two masters especially when one is always omni-absent; never omni-present!

Divine History

During the past centuries people believed in the divine rights of the king’s government. In this 21st century, we Filipinos still believe in the divine authority of the Catholic Bishops over our government.
Former President Joseph Estrada was charged, convicted, jailed, and pardoned by President Gloria M. Arroyo. If the Catholic Bishops were not allowed to meddle in matters of the State, there would be no such horror as the forgiveness of sin and crime in our insane government. Poch Suzara

Poverty is the greatest of our sins and the worst of our crimes. Millions of Filipinos are not Christians because they are poor, they are poor because they are Christians. Indeed, Christianity has always had a vested interest in misery and poverty. Poverty is the symptom. Christianity is the disease. The fight against poverty should be focused at its roots. Nothing can remedy poverty unless we first get rid of Christianity. Indeed, it is time for those poor in spirit to evaporate and let those rich in spirit take over to establish in our own land a sinless and a crimeless society. To insist that God loves the poor because he made so many of them is an argument against God. Really, if God could give free will to the rich to help them enjoy the higher standard of thinking, why couldn’t God give the same free will to the poor to help them to enjoy a higher standard of living? Blind Faith

Thanks to blind faith so prevalent in this only Christian country in Asia, we are even blind to the garbage all around us. Garbage in our streets and highways. Garbage in our homes. Garbage in our schools, colleges, and universities. Garbage in our corporate and government offices. Garbage in our Churches and Cathedrals; and indeed, the most stinking of all – the garbage in our minds and hearts. Look how we all love God up there by being filthy and polluted and corrupt to each other down here.

The difference between Christianity and other religions is that in other religions, people search for God. For a Christian, God searches for you!”Really? But isn’t God suppose to be everywhere and people need not be busy searching for God or God need not be busy searching for people? In the old religion, God will provide. In the new religion, however, the universe will provide. If either were true, how come in the end no one can even survive? Dear Jesus, Millions of your Filipino followers are filthy poor. Only a few of your Filipino followers are filthy rich. All, however, rich and poor alike, are waiting for your return. In School

In La Salle grade school and in high school we were threatened with punishment if we dared to read the great books written by great thinkers and philosophers. I somehow disobeyed. Down through the years, I began to clearly see why we are a people of childish prayers; and not a nation of matured readers.

Indeed, we Filipinos are born ignorant, not stupid; we are made stupid not by an educational, but by the powerful commercial enterprises otherwise more known as Catholic schools, colleges, and universities.

This famous minister says that the science of archaeology has contributed more to substantiating the authenticity of the holy bible than most people know about. Really? What about the science of astronomy where it discovered that we are a speck of debris from the cosmic explosion? Where is that discovered and explained in the bible?

What about the science of geology that reminds us of our brief existence both as individuals and as a species? Where is that elucidated in the bible?

Biblical Zombies

Here's one revealed truth in the HOLY bible as written by inspired authors of God: And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose. And came out of the graves . . . The Human Body Created by God

MAP Statement

For the sake of good governance, the management Association of the Philippines, (MAP) called on - “the religious leaders to speak out in thunderous language and condemn the moral degradation of our government bureaucracy, and we unequivocally join the Catholic bishops’ call for “communal action” to regain our moral compass and, with it, our nation’s dignity and self-respect.” Philippine Start Feb. 14, 2008

We are, indeed, a nation of childish morons. We call on the Catholic bishops to scold our rotten government officials who are the products of catholic schools, colleges, and universities in this only catholic country in Asia.

What exactly have these Catholic Bishops done during these past 400 years to teach the Filipino to have self-respect as a people and to have dignity as a nation? Why must our government officials continue the corrupt marriage between State and Church in our country?

The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men and women to keep on submitting to the destructive beliefs taught to them during childhood years by the Catholic Church and other Christian churches. Such religious establishments continue to keep the Philippines poor spiritually, bankrupt morally, sick politically, insane socially, and backward economically.

I said it before, I say it again: Look how we Filipinos love not our country, nor do we love fellow-Filipinos. We love only God up there as we were taught to hate this world and to hate one another down here? Poch Suzara

The Greatest Filipino Tragedy

The greatest tragedy of the Filipino as a people is his faithful tolerance for deadly ignorance. We are famous the world over not as a people mindful of health and sanitation, or thoughtful of law and order, or appreciative of family planning and birth control standards, or common human decency, or respectful of our women, but only famous for our faith in Jesus – the Son of God – the Savior of the Philippines born as a Jew in Israel some 2,000 years ago that today is not even a Christian country, but a Jewish State. We hardly ask: “What’s happening to our poor and backward country in this already 21st century?” We should, instead, be seriously asking: What’s happening to our so-called sacred values beliefs as the only Christian country in Asia? What exactly has Christianity in general, and the Catholic church in particular done historically to contribute anything substantial that have inspired the Filipino to live the good and decent life – one inspired by love and guided by the power of knowledge? Bible Authors

Bible authors had no knowledge of the planet earth being round, rotating on its own axis daily, and orbiting around the sun yearly. Why did an All-knowing God inspire the bible authors to be ignorant of the science of astronomy?

Philosophy

I love philosophy. It begins when one learns to doubt. Especially to doubt one’s faith in the existence of hogmas, pigmas, and dogmas.

I love Philosophy as I hate theology. Philosophy teaches us HOW to think. Theology teaches us WHAT to believe. Education

Owners of schools, College and university owners ought to be the guardians of civilization. Teachers and professors ought ought to be the guardians of a sane and a healthy society.

We think of education as the transmission of a certain body of settled knowledge. On the contrary, education ought to be about the development of a scientific habit of mind. Indeed, learning as a process of lively analysis, and not a matter of deadly paralysis. It is sad and painful to see college educated men and women of this country carry a heavy load of useless guilt on their backs. They are intellectually crippled by its destructive weight. Love versus Hate

Success

To enjoy success in our sick society, it is not enough to be educated as a faithful believer. One must also be selfish, greedy, stupid, insane, and especially, God-fearing. Indeed, in order to succeed in our sick society, one must first prove that the reptilian part of your brain is much bigger than the mammalian part. Our society has always been ruled by sick reptiles in the shape of sick politicians in cahoots with the sick theologians.

In the meantime, we Filipinos have yet to discover that happiness can only be discovered by promoting happiness to other Filipinos.

Church History

If we would only bother to discover church history, we could discover this horror: In God’s name, the atheists were booted out of town, ostracized, arrested, punished, tortured, incarcerated, drowned, boiled, garroted, hanged, burned, shot, and executed for bringing enlightenment to free the human mind! Such was the case against Giordano Bruno, a Catholic monk during the 16th century. For believing and preaching that there are other worlds out there, and for believing that everything perishes but nothing changes, the church had him arrested, tried, and sentenced to death by burning him alive on a stake in a public arena. Of course another was our own Jose Rizal – the greatest Filipino freethinker. He was executed for his harmful writings against the Catholic teachings to Filipinos in the Philippines. If I could Pick My Valentine

I pick Hypatia – the Greek philosopher, a teacher of mathematics and astronomy in Alexandria. A woman renowned for her beauty. In an age of bigotry, she adhered to the Neoplatonic philosophy of Plato and Aristotle. With eloquence and intellect, the whole of Alexandria trembled whenever Hypatia lectured. The search of the truth was to her priceless. She was a woman of self-respect and dignity not only for herself but also especially for her community. Hypatia was a brilliant teacher who rejected unfounded dogmas. She laughed at the superstitious primitives of her days. She was ruthlessly murdered – a victim of religious fanaticism more than 15 centuries ago. Hypatia lived in the 5th century – a time characterized by destructive forces. The Roman Empire was falling apart. During this period of confusion, the church, however, was more troubled by Christian disunity and women's virginity. In her time, a complicated controversy on incarnation was prevalent. The question at issue was the relation of Christ's divinity to his humanity. Did Christ have two aspects, one human and the other divine? There were those who objected to calling the Virgin "Mother of God." She was, they said, only the mother of the human person, while the divine person, who was God, has no mother. The church was divided on this question. But the view that Christ was one Person with two aspects, human and divine, won in the end. Its chief protagonist was Cyril, the Archbishop of Alexandria. A man of fanatical zeal, who supported orthodoxy, and persecuted the Jewish community in Alexandria. Cyril, the church authority, had no influence over Hypatia. He hated her. Hypatia was the head of the Alexandria library. She symbolized learning and science, which at that time, the church authority largely identified with paganism. But Hypatia was also on good terms with Orestes, a pagan, who was also the city's chief Magistrate. As such, Hypatia was the focal point in the tensions and riots between Christians and non-Christians that have racked Alexandria. In order to show others what it means to deviate away from Christian beliefs and values, Cyril gathered a small mob together to get rid of Hypatia. She was "torn from her chariot, stripped naked, dragged to the church, and inhumanely butchered: her flesh was scraped from her bones with sharp oyster shells and her quivering limbs were delivered to the flames." After this Christian act of mercy, Alexandria was no longer troubled by philosophers; Cyril, however, was canonized a saint. As for Hypatia, because we never heard of her in our schools, colleges, and universities, her name has been forgotten. If I were granted a wish, I wish to have been with Hypatia during her last day of life on this earth. In defending her, I gladly would have been proud getting killed alongside protecting her. But as my wish cannot be granted, I would just be honored, if Hypatia, in spirit, will be my Valentine today. Hypatia, wherever you are, I love you, respect you, and admire you. How We Live

A God directly involved with us but only after death is a God who must be just as dead. Such a dead God in heaven is not worth bothering while we are still alive on this earth.

As an atheist, I love this life. I love this world. Our world. I do not care for what’s nothing out there after I am dead. Neither do I give a hoot to what was nothing out there before I was born.

Millions

Nobody knows, not even God, just exactly how many millions of baptized Filipino Catholic live under subhuman conditions in the Philippines. However the case may be, these poverty-stricken Catholic Filipinos existing in the streets, under bridges, huts and hovels are consistently reminded that God loves them; and, that Jesus, the Son of God, will soon return. The biblical promise has been going on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly for almost 2,000 years now. From this Islas de ladrones y bobos, millions of Catholic Filipinos have already migrated and are now living and well-employed in some 190 foreign countries. This simply means that Filipinos are the failures in their own Catholic countries, but are happy and successful living and working in non-Catholic countries. Poch Suzara
