Questions

Questions are either silly or intelligent. Here’s an example of a silly question: did God raise Jesus from the dead? The intelligent question, however, to ask is: Why did Jesus have to die to begin with? What did He accomplish? If Jesus died on the cross to destroy the devil – how come the devil is still alive today keeping Christianity in business as ever? But then again, where was God, the Father of Jesus, to have assisted Adam and Eve to reject the offers of the Talking Serpent – the devil – the very myth that gave birth to Christianity? Poch Suzara

Jesus is God so He raised Himself from the dead. He died in order to entitle mankind to the beatific vision - to be at peace and one with God in never ending bliss. His voluntary sacrifice also gave us the example that we should not fear death for, contingent upon our living virtuous lives, it could be our door to a new life in the full companionship of God.

God gave mankind all the intellect and the powers to resist temptation and the devil. But exercising, free will, men (not only Adam and Eve but including everybody, you and I) chose to defy God and commit sin.

Since you view the stories of the Bible as "myth" as you use and understand the term, that is, as completely fabricated fantasy with no value, I wonder why you bother to ask these questions at all.
