Human Intelligence greater than Hope

"The youth is the hope of our future," Rizal steadfastly believed. With due respect to and admiration for our Jose Rizal, may I however, add: Yes, the youth seriously educated in grade school, high school, and in college to learn the values of science and the power behind the scientific way of thinking. In this way, our youth will be far more constructive in the development of our land than all nonsense behind the silly religious hope of our future going on in our country ever since Christianity arrived into our shores some 400 years ago..

After all, far greater than hope is the development of human mind and heart, indeed, the power of new and fresh ideas - which is what, in brief, what the scientific way of thinking is all about! Poch Suzara
