Mysterious

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.” ... Albert Einstein. . . Sadly and unfortunately, in our schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines millions of us Filipinos have been taught to believe that the mysterious can only be something deleterious, if not atrocious as the mysterious can never be anything meritorious or even precious. Take the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Thus far, such a mystery has only inspired in us Filipinos to excel in our religious tradition as a sick people; and, to have more faith in our political insanity as a nation... Oh Dear, My Dear Ravi Zacharias

Everyone - pantheist, atheist, skeptic, polytheist - has to answer these questions: 'Where did I come from? What is life's meaning? How do I define right from wrong and what happens to me when I die?' Those are the fulcrum points of our existence. . . Ravi Zacharias Oh dear, my poor dear Ravi, have you ever considered living the good life - one inspired by love and guided by knowledge? It is one of best ways in trying to leave this world, our world one day as better place than how we found it. Not necessarily in the material, but in the humanitarian -sense. For my part, as a atheist, I say: fuck death and the "hereafter." There is not even such as thing as a "herebefore." So why bother with either eternal salvation or eternal damnation since there is "civilization" in the here and now we have yet to improve upon as thinking and as decent human beings! Specially for the sake of future generations of humanity to come! . . . Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Secret of Writing and the Pleasures of Thinking

Rewriting is the secret to good writing. Embrace it, and you will produce final drafts of interest. Reject it, and you will limit your writing to mediocrity. Always remember – you are writing to express the power of your thought, not to impress your readers with lies and deceptions... Nick Fatool. In the meantime, the love of writing and re-writing; and, the love of reading and re-reading pretty much amount to the joys in life under the pleasures of thinking... New and Fresh Ideas versus the Old and Useless beliefs and Values

It is sad and pathetic: college-educated Pinoys and Pinays are among the first to fear new and fresh ideas that could transform the lives of millions of poor Filipinos to live in and work in his own country with dignity ans self-respect. Ironically, said new and fresh ideas are mostly about the total rejection of the old and sick beliefs and values that keep the Filipino poor as a people and sick as a nation. "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly." - Albert Einstein, letter to Morris Raphael Cohen, professor emeritus of philosophy at the College of the City of New York, March 19, 1940. Jesus and His promise to the THIEF crucified alongside Him

Then Barabbas, the thief said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:42-43... This promise could have been kept, unless Jesus went to heaven that day, which is contrary to the Christian doctrine that when he was dead he spent the succeeding three days and nights in the heart of the earth or according to the Apostle's Creed in hell)... Well, Jesus could have been truthful had he promised the thief that he will resurrect back to life centuries later and he will end up to be a congressman or a senator in the Philippine government... GOD DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING

"God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Genesis 1:31...NO KIDDING? What was very good about the beasts of prey, serpents, sharks, deadly virus, murderous parasites, sickly worms; not to mention typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods; and the tree of knowledge of good and evil that evolved into schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines?... Now here's something even more ticklish as a revealed truth: If God saw everything that he had made was very good, how come in Genesis 6:6 it says that: "It repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at his earth." It is hard to believe that there were already greedy, selfish, stupid, sick and insane Americans living on this earth at that time! Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

Why Atheists Hate God

Why Atheists Hate God? Don't tell me you don't hate God because he doesn't exist. I know in your dark, evil heart you hate God. So be honest and tell us why you hate God... Atty Anoy Vanoy. . . We atheists hate God because after all this time, after all these past centuries God has yet to learn how to behave like a great and wonderful God that He is suppose to be! What's the purpose of God existing when He is only existing as a worthless, a useless, and a mindless Being always omni-absent, never omni-present: More than 100 billion people have already lived and died on this earth since the days of Adam and Eve - how come God has never created an improve version of man or woman - they are still the same saps and jerks as they have been existing centuries ago! I said it before, I say it again: It is time for us Filipinos to study not the "Word of God," but to face the "work of God" without fear. PHILIPPINES - STILL POOR AND BACKWARD AS A NATION IN ASIA

Three things, simple but overwhelmingly strong and powerful are happening daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly in most Asian countries growing and developing with the power of science and technology and not, at the same time, happening in the Philippines - poor and backward as the Philippines still is in this already 21st century. 1) love of country; 2) respect for the law in such countries; 3) respect and admiration for their respective government and its honest and hard-working officials. In the Philippines, sadly, 1) we Filipinos do not love our country. We love only divinity. 2) We Filipinos have respect our laws. We make a mockery of them. 3) We believe that our government is not a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. That our government is only for the corrupt officials, of the corrupt officials, and by the corrupt officials. Thus, instead of growth as a people and development - only more of the same old political, economic, and religious recycled garbage year in and year out for our poor and backward only Catholic country in Asia! The Trouble with our Prayers

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ: I said it, and said it, and said it before; I say it again and again and again: prayers are still of the nature of magic formulas, mumbled over and over again with an advertiser's faith in repetition. The Truth versus Lies and Deceptions

After I got expelled out of high school some 65 years ago, I devoted most of my life in search of the truth via reading and reading great books. No, I have not found the whole truth. I only found parts of the truth. Sadly, however, as I tried to share with my friends, associates, and relatives these partial truths with them - they got shocked with me as they are only happy and proud being faithful as believers in the lies and deceptions told to them to believe in their schools, colleges, and universities. It is true, down through the years, my fight against the believers have been endless; especially as believers are often told that ignorance is a mark of closeness to God; that ignorance is really a kind of spiritual enlightenment, and that ignorance is what true faith is all about. I said it before, I say it again: Belief in God is not a problem. Belief without evidence is the problem! Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

Indeed, we must love only God and the Son of God Jesus always. In this way, we shall gain "eternal salvation after death in the kingdom of God up there. Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Intimidated Atheists

I envy the gays and the lesbians. Decades ago, they were laughed at, threatened, insulted, maltreated, ostracized, frightened, beaten, tortured, lynched, burned, and hanged. But they stood their ground to vigorously fight hatred and bigotry. Today, the gays and lesbians are the accepted parts of mainstream society. They are in government as politicians, in church as priests and nuns, in trade and commerce as businessmen and businesswomen, in schools, colleges, and universities as teachers and professors, creative artist in the advertising industry, actors and actresses in the film industry, golly they are even the loved moms and respected dads raising decent children... Except the frightened atheists. We are still behaving like a bunch of intimidated freaks. Instead of evolving publicly; we would rather be recoiling privately. We are still afraid to expose the power of knowledge that got us to be atheists to begin with. We are still hiding inside the dark closet. For Christ’s sake, there are even existing atheist today who are famous authors, lawyers, educators, philosophers, and scientists but they are among the first idiots to intimidate fellow atheist not to identify our true identity in public as “atheist.” After all, they insists: the word “atheist” connotes something of a criminal, if not some kind of an animal. I say: fuck that shit!... In this already 21st century, we atheists are left out like a bunch of crippled idiots in a quagmire stuck away from the decent struggle to promote tolerance for our rights to openly exist as atheists too. We continue to be frightened hiding under the pressure from those who enjoy exalting fear and fanaticism for and in this world that forever needs feeding... The Cruel Existence of Something

Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time... But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story. Holy Shit! - George Carlin... The existence of nothing has never harmed anybody. Why then should a good God create something only to harm everybody? Look at the way God created all of us. When we arrived into this world via mother's womb: we were all wet, hungry, crying, bloodied, uncircumcised, and as unbelievers of the faith. We had no religion as babies. We were all atheists. In fact, if all of us came out of mother’s womb happy, smiling, clean, healthy, well-fed, and already believing in the existence of the Supreme Being - no need for the atheists to make a fuss about the cruel existence of something. Consider the day we are born is the day we also begin to live in a dying body. Moreover, “When we are born we cry, that we come to this great stage of fools.” Well, for my part, as a growing thinking boy in school, I thought I'd better get myself expelled out of that greater stage of fools hardly referred to as acquiring a sick kind of education under the sick existence of De La Salle University! ... Casinos Have Nothing to do with Economic growth

If I open a business that employs people, I’m "creating jobs," but does that prove that I’m helping the economy? Of course not. Economics 101 teaches that the question is not "Do people work here?" but rather "Does this activity contribute to economic growth?" And current economic research clearly suggests that casinos do not help the economy.'' Casinos create employment, but its employees create nothing of value which is what economic growth is all about. The reason isn’t hard to understand. What expands the economy is producing things of value, and casinos produce nothing of value. If I open a doughnut stand, I’m producing doughnuts. If I build a tire factory, I’m producing tires. The only thing a casino produces is people losing their money. The economic impact is similar to throwing your money on the street so that someone else can pick it up — it’s redistributing wealth without creating more of it. But it gets worse, because what casinos do isn’t neutral, either ethically or economically. Casinos prey upon people’s weaknesses to separate them from their money. Slot machines and other casino games are forms of fraud, similar to loan-sharking, false advertising and price-gouging. Economists have much to say about the economic impact of businesses that cheat and exploit people, and it’s the opposite of what the casino lobby says. If I start a loan-sharking business in your town, it’s true that I’m "creating jobs." I’m also creating jobs if I open a brothel or turn an abandoned building into a crack house. But would any of this help the economy? Of course not. Such activities typically drag a community down, economically and in other ways. Bad ethics usually lead to bad economic outcomes. In the ultimate analysis, a country where its few rich minority get richer, and the poor majority are getting poorer is a not country that is enjoying economic growth or prosperity, but the growth of economic perversity and stupidity... Why fear God

Why fear God since even after death there is nothing more to fear. That there is life after death is a lot of hogwash. There is no such thing as dying partially. We die entirely. There is nothing more natural and more simple than to believe that the dead man lives no more. There is nothing more absurd than to believe that the dead man is still living. To claim that the souls of men will be punished or rewarded after death of man's body is to pretend that that man will be able to see without eyes, to hear without ears, smell with a nose, taste without a palate, feel without hands and skin, make love without his sex organ... "No sorrow is too heavy for our Savior to bear." . . . Philippine Star, Feb. 28,2015. . . In fact, Jesus, our Savior is the first and the last person to give not the joys of understanding or intellectual pleasures in life, but the sorrows of conflict and unhappiness; specially within the family. Listen to Jesus as he expects you to be not only sorrowfully unhappy, but also to be sick and insane as His disciple: "If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Freemasonry and Atheism

What is Freemasonry? Devotion to the interests of the People; detestation of Tyranny; sacred regard for the rights of Free Thought, Free Speech, and Free Conscience; implacable hostility to Intolerance, bigotry, Arrogance and Usurpation; respect and regard for labor, which makes human nature noble; and scorn and contempt for all monopolies that minister to insolent and pampered luxury... This is all fine and dandy. What is Atheism? We atheists, however, are ahead of the Freemasons. We have no need of a God to guide us, to report to, or to answer for; especially in our struggle against the evils in this world. Our World... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

GOD IS IMAGINARY, NOT REAL AS A BEING

If you are an educated Christian, have you ever thought about using your college education to think about your faith? Your life and your career demand that you behave and act rationally. Let's apply your critical thinking skills as we discuss 10 simple questions about your religion. Here is an example of the kind of thing I am talking about: As a Christian, you believe in the power of prayer. According to a recent poll 3 out of 4 doctors believe that God is performing medical miracles on earth right now. Most Christians believe that God is curing cancers, healing diseases, reversing the effects of poisons and so on. So here is question #1: Why won't God heal amputees? It's a simple question, isn't it? We all know that amputated legs do not spontaneously regenerate in response to prayer. Amputees get no miracles from God. If you are an intelligent person, you have to admit that it's an interesting question On the one hand, you believe that God answers prayers and performs miracles. On the other hand, you know that God completely ignores amputees when they pray for miracles. How do you deal with this discrepancy? As an intelligent person, you have to deal with it, because it makes no sense. In order to handle it, notice that you have to create some kind of rationalization. You have to invent an excuse on God's behalf to explain this strange fact of life. You might say, "well, God must have some kind of special plan for amputees." So you invent your excuse, whatever it is, and then you stop thinking about it because it is uncomfortable. Here is another example. As a Christian, you believe that God cares about you and answers your prayers. So the second question is: Why are there so many starving people in our world? Look out at our world and notice that millions of children are dying of starvation. It really is horrific. Why would God be worried about you getting a raise, while at the same time ignoring the prayers of these desperate, innocent little children? It really doesn't make any sense, does it? Why would a loving god do this? To explain it, you have to come up with some sort of very strange excuse for God. Like, "God wants these children to suffer and die for some divine, mysterious reason." Then you push it out of your mind because it absolutely does not fit with your view of a loving, caring God. Third question: Why does God demand the death of so many innocent people in the Bible? Look up these verses: - Exodus 35:2 – God demands that we kill everyone who works on the Sabbath day. - Deuteronomy 21:18-21 – God demands that we kill disobedient teenagers. - Leviticus 20:13 – God demands the death of homosexuals. - Deuteronomy 22:13-21 – God demands that we kill girls who are not virgins when they marry. And so on… There are lots of verses like these. It doesn't make any sense, does it? Why would a loving God want us to murder our fellow human beings over such trivial matters? Just because you work on the wrong day of the week, you must die? That makes no sense, does it? In fact, if you think about it, you realize that it is insane. So you create some kind of rationalization to explain these verses. Question #4: Why does the Bible contain so much anti-scientific nonsense? You have a college degree, so you know what I'm talking about. You know how science works. You happily use the products of science every day: your car, your cell phone, your microwave oven, your TV, your computer. These are all products of the scientific process. You know that science is incredibly important to our economy and to our lives. But there is a problem. As an educated person you know that the Bible contains all sorts of information that is total nonsense from a scientific perspective. - God did not create the world in 6 days 6,000 years ago like the Bible says. - There was never a worldwide flood that covered Mt. Everest like the Bible says. - Jonah did not live inside a fish's stomach for three days like the Bible says. - God did not create Adam from a handful of dust like the Bible says. These stories are all nonsense. Why would an all-knowing God write nonsense? It makes no sense, does it? So you create some type of very strange excuse to try to explain why the Bible contains total nonsense. Question #5: Why is God such a huge proponent of slavery in the Bible? Look up these Bible verses: - Exodus 21:20-21 – God says that it is OK to own slaves, and it is also OK to beat them. - Colossians 3:22-24 – Slaves need to obey their masters. - Ephesians 6:5 – Slaves need to obey their masters just as they would obey Christ. - 1 Peter 2:18 – Slaves need to obey their masters, even if their masters are harsh . And so on… And why do all intelligent people abhor slavery and make it completely illegal? You have to come up with some kind of weird rationalization to explain it. Question #6: Why do bad things happen to good people? That makes no sense. You have created an exotic excuse on God's behalf to rationalize it. Question #7: Why didn't any of Jesus' miracles in the Bible leave behind any evidence? It's very strange, isn't it? You have created an excuse to rationalize it. Question #8: How do we explain the fact that Jesus has never appeared to you? Jesus is all-powerful and timeless, but if you pray for Jesus to appear, nothing happens. You have to create a weird rationalization to deal with this discrepancy. Question #9 – Why would Jesus want you to eat his body and drink his blood? It sounds totally grotesque, doesn't it? Why would al all-powerful God want you to do something that, in any other context, sounds like a disgusting, cannibalistic, satanic ritual? And finally, Question #10 – Why do Christians get divorced at the same rate as non-Christians? Christians get married in front of God and their Christian friends, all of whom are praying to God for the marriage to succeed. And then they say, "What God has put together, let no man put asunder." God is all-powerful, so if God has put two people together that should seal the deal, right? Yet Christians get divorced at the same rate as everyone else. To explain this, you have to create some convoluted rationalization. So, we have looked at 10 fascinating questions. In order to believe in God, you have had to create all sorts of strange rationalizations and excuses. If you are an intelligent, college-educated person, all of these excuses and rationalizations probably make you uncomfortable. If you think about it honestly, using the critical thinking skills that you learned in college, you have to admit that your answers to these questions make no sense at all. Now, let me show you something remarkable. What if you instead assume that God is imaginary? A funny thing happens: the answers to every one of these questions make complete sense. Just look at all ten questions as an intelligent person: 1) Why won't God heal amputees? Because God is imaginary, and he doesn't answer any prayers. Every "answered prayer" is actually a coincidence. All scientific evidence supports this conclusion. 2) Why are there so many starving people in our world? Because God is imaginary, and he is therefore unable to answer their prayers. 3) Why does God demand the death of so many innocent people in the Bible? Because God is imaginary, and the Bible was written by ridiculous, ruthless men rather than any sort of loving being. 4) Why does the Bible contain so much anti-scientific nonsense? Ditto. Primitive men wrote the bible, not an all-knowing being. 5) Why is God such a huge proponent of slavery? Ditto. 6) Why do bad things happen to good people? Because God is imaginary and bad things happen at the same statistical rates to everyone. 7) Why didn't any of Jesus' miracles in the Bible leave behind any evidence? Because God is imaginary, and Jesus' miracles are myths. 8) How do we explain the fact that Jesus has never appeared to you? Because God is imaginary. 9) Why would Jesus want you to eat his body and drink his blood? Because God is imaginary, and this bizarre ritual came from a pagan religion. 10) Why do Christians get divorced at the same rate as non-Christians? Because God is imaginary. Do you see what has happened here? When we assume that God exists, the answers to these ten questions make absolutely no sense. But if we assume that God is imaginary, our world makes complete sense. It's interesting, isn't it? Actually, it's more than interesting – it is incredibly important. Our world only makes sense when we understand that God is imaginary. This is how intelligent, rational people know that God is imaginary. When you use your brain, and when you think logically about your religious faith, you can reach only one possible conclusion: the "god" that you have heard about since you were an infant is completely imaginary. You have to willfully discard rationality, and accept hundreds of bizarre rationalizations to believe in your "god." Now, let me ask you one last question: why should you care? What difference does it make if people want to believe in a "god", even if he is imaginary? It matters because people who believe in imaginary beings are delusional. It matters because people who talk to imaginary beings are delusional. It matters because people who believe in imaginary superstitions like prayer are delusional. It's that simple, and that obvious. Your religious beliefs hurt you personally and hurt us as a species because they are delusional. The belief in any "god" is complete nonsense. You are a smart person. It is time for you to use your intelligence to free yourself from these delusions. It is time for you to begin thinking like a rational human being, rather than clinging to imaginary friends and childhood fantasies. Poch Suzara

The Invisible God

If God created man out of his own image and likeness how come we are not invisible? -- And if God is Jewish how come Filipinos do not look Jewish? And what if God were a being without a dick, but with a vagina? . . . At any rate, if God created you in his own image and likeness, how come you are born as an atheist without religion... The Church and Its Welfare

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 1 John 2:15... Indeed, it follows that the church fears atheism, not because it is inimical to human welfare, but because it is inimical to big business of the church. The priesthood industry need and want their mythical God because in Him they live and move and have their cake and eat it too. The church has thus become an institution for the care and maintenance of God, not man. You can say anything about man, and it will not bother the church, but speak one word against God and the entire priesthood industry behind the church will rise in wrath against you. In the ultimate analysis, not only the church, but also the existence of a cathedral is but a monument to human stupidity. Poch Suzara twitter# Facebook# Google#

RELATIVES FUCKING RELATIVES AS TRUTH REVEALED IN THE HOLY BIBLE

The Bible on Donkey Penis as a revealed truth in the holy bible . . More truth revealed in Ezekiel 23:1-49... "There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." Rape approved by God in the bible? Pedophile approved by God in the same bible? Consider the sin of incest also approved by God or relatives fucking relatives as truth revealed in the bible: 1. Lot with his elder daughter, Genesis 19:33 2. Lot with his youngest daughter. Genesis 19:35 3. Abraham with his half sister, Genesis 20:12 4. Nahor with his niece, Genesis 11:27, 20 5. Reuben with his father’s concubine, genesis 35:22, 49:4 6. Amram with his aunt, Exodus 6:20 7. Judah with his daughter-in-law, Genesis 38:16-18 8. Amnon with his sister, 2 Samuel 13:2, 14 9. Absalom with his father’s 10 concubines. 2 Samuel 15:16; 10. Herod with his sister-in-law, Mark 6:17-18 See also Amos 2:7 and First Corinthians 5:1 and how about Cain (Genesis 4:17) and Seth (Genesis) 4:26? In the meantime, we are told by the religious faithfools that Catholic priests fucking boys and girls in church and in school is a modern terror; not an ancient horror. That Catholic priests during the first century never fucked boys and girls inside churches and cathedrals! No kidding? Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Ask, Seek, Knock

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Matt. 7:7-8... What a lot of superstitious bible garbage. Why? If these were true, you need only to ask once, you need only to seek once, and you only need to knock once. Not a million times daily; nay, not a billion times yearly said by generations of lunatics more referred to as Catholics; specially in the Philippines - the only catholic country in Asia since the 16th century.... In this day and age, in this already 21st century, how come millions of poor Filipinos are still asking, seeking, and knocking by way of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly prayers to God? Even their poor parents, grandparents, and great grandparents before them have said the same daily prayers centuries past. Golly, even our congressmen and senators are into the same sick prayers daily to God too! Praying to God to accomplish what for our people or to achieve what for our country - nobody knows! They just pray daily as part of their duty and responsibility as government officials - confirming the truth that the separation of Church and State in the Philippines is nothing but a farce, a fraud, and a ceremony... Sick Truth Revealed in the Sick Bible

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Love not this world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1John 2:15 If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. Isaiah 45:7 Their children shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes! There houses spoiled, and their wives raped... Dash the young men to pieces...have no pity on the fruit of the womb, the children shall not be spared. Isaiah 13:16-18 Behold, I will rebuke your offspring, and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your offerings, and you shall be taken away with it. Malachi 2:3 "Take all the heads of the people and hang them up before the Lord against the sun.” Numbers 25:4 To Fear the Lord is wisdom. Job 28:28 for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God. Deut 5:9 For our God is a consuming fire!" -- Hebrews 12:29 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them. Psalms 78:49 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger...” -- Isaiah 13:9 Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matt. 10:34-37 "But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me." Luke 19:27 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Matt. 10:1 In the meantime, it's incredible to believe that neither Jesus nor his disciples have never been able to successfully cure diseases in the Philippines, especially the one more known as THE SICK MAN OF ASIA! My Dear Sara

"I salute PNP OIC Deputy Director General Leonardo Espina for speaking the truth. He spoke from the heart. His courage gave the nation hope. He showed dedication and commitment to the Philippine National Police force. Many of us were reassured that at least there are still men in government who puts God at the center of their lives... As my late father Maximo V. Soliven once wrote, “Let’s honor our heroes who’re fighting and dying for our country in Mindanao. Not defame, bad-mouth, or shoot them in the back. We’re a funny people. We let innocents die then, in a twisted version of the rule of law, defend their tormentors in our courts of law with such a passion and vehemence for their “rights” that one begins to wonder who’s right and who’s wrong: the torturer, the renegade, the murdered – or his victims.” Sara Soliven de Guzman, Philippine Star My dear Sara, how many Filipinos are there working today in the Philippine government who are atheists who puts love of country and love of fellow-Filipinos first and foremost at the center of their lives? Do you know of one? In the meantime, the Filipinos in Mindanao were there first centuries before the Spaniards and the Americans arrived to colonize the Philippines. We All Live In a Fucking World

With all due love and respect, my father fucked my mother in order to produce me. Just exactly like your father fucked your mother in order to produce you. It is the same with our children - we fucked their mothers in order to produce them. Indeed, life is a sexually transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent! For any of you to believe otherwise is nothing but divine gimcrackery as inspired by the existence of a filthy mystery that promotes nothing but social insanity having an illicit affair with political stupidity! Religion, like War, is Big Business

Religion is the killing of the human mind and heart. It is the systematic marketing of fear that ensures faith in human ignorance which in turn promote social insanity, political stupidity, and economic scarcity for the majority; but economic prosperity for the minority on top of which is the priesthood industry. In other words, religion, like war, is big business. I repeat: religion teaches us to SMILE because God loves us but he needs MONEY! The Bible as a Holy Garbage and Trash

If the earth is about 4 billion years old and on the 6th day man was created are religious people suggesting that man has been on earth for over 4 billion years? I said it before, I say it again: The bible is a book written with REVEALED lies, deception, corruption, contradictions, inconsistencies, absurdities, obscenities, vulgarities, atrocities, and stupidities. The best we can do with the holy bible, after seriously reading it, is to feel holier by throwing it out window. I did it myself and then began to read and read and read even more seriously great books written by the great thinkers of this world.Especially books written by Bertrand Russell. Why am I Happy as an Atheist

Suppose one man likes strawberries and another does not; in what respect is the latter superior? There is no abstract and impersonal proof either that strawberries are good or that they are not good. To the man who likes them they are good, to the man who dislikes them they are not. But the man who likes them has a pleasure which the other does not have; to that extent his life is more enjoyable and he is better adapted to the world in which both must live. What is true in this trivial instance is equally true in more important matters. The man who enjoys watching football is to that extent superior to the man who does not. The man who enjoys reading is still more superior to the man who does not, since opportunities for reading are more frequent than opportunities for watching football. The more things a man is interested in, the more opportunities of happiness he has and the less he is at the mercy of fate, since if he loses one thing he can fall back upon another. Life is too short to be interested in everything, but it is good to be interested in as many things as are necessary to fill our days... Bertrand Russell, the Conquest of Happiness... For my part, I am happy because I love and enjoy reading. I also love and enjoy doubting, searching, disagreeing, questioning, verifying, cogitating, scrutinizing, thought provoking, discovering, enemy facing, laughing, joke cracking, street children feeding, cooking, gardening, cleaning, washing, collecting, helping, giving, jazz drumming, listening, vagina penetrating, and pumping, and ejaculating not for the sake of breeding or propagating, but simply for a healthy fucking, and most of all I love and enjoy truth telling.... The Trouble With God

The trouble with God is that he hates his job. He hates to assume his duties and responsibilities as the creator of the universe. He would rather be happy by always being omni-absent than be a God who should always be omni-present. Indeed, to remain always as a hidden spirit, and not be a real open matter. But then again, here's the theological mess: God is not matter, neither is nonexistence. God has no limitations, neither is nonexistence. God is not visible, neither is nonexistence. God cannot be described, neither can nonexistence. Obviously, God does not exists! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Rulers of Our Freedom and Democracy in the Philippines

*Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country. . . Franklin D. Creation out of Nothing

"God made everything out of nothing, but the nothingness shows through." Paul Valery... If God created man in his own image and likeness, and God made everything out of nothing, then God must be made of nothing too. Is it any wonder why God is only always omniabsent, never omnipresent? The Filipino God is NOT a Filipino God, but a Jewish God

The God of the cannibals will be a cannibal, the God of the Crusaders a crusader, and the God of the Merchants a merchant. . . Ralph Waldo Emerson . . . Sadly, the God of the Filipinos is not a Filipino. He is Jesus, a Jew, born of Jewish mom and dad in a small Jewish town called Bethlehem some 2,015 years ago. Jesus has always been a lovable and a merciful kind of God to us Filipinos because Jesus rightly preached: "If any man come to me and hate NOT his father, and mother, and wife and children, and brothers, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26. Something even more wonderful, Jesus also declared: "Think not that I came to send peace on earth; I came not to send peace, but a sword." Matt. 10:34. . . Indeed, in the Philippines, as the only Jesus country in Asia since the 16th century, for the glory of Jesus, we Filipinos have no love for our mothers and father, we have no love for our brothers and sisters, we have no love for our wives and children, indeed, we have no love for our country down here. We only love Jesus, our Savior, up there!. . . In the meantime, millions upon millions of poor Filipinos hope to merit eternal salvation in heaven one day; especially by enjoying the spread of corruption, pollution, degradation, and earthly damnation here on earth!. . . I said it before, I say it again: our endless troubles as a people, and our mindless problems as a nation begin in the Filipino family derailed as it is historically by Christian values and beliefs!... The Horrors in Nature as God's Divine Plan

Neither love without knowledge, nor knowledge without love can produce a good life. In the Middle Ages, when pestilence appeared in a country, holy men advised the population to assemble in churches and pray for deliverance; the result was that the infection spread with extraordinary rapidity among the crowded masses of supplicants. This was an example of love without knowledge. The late war afforded an example of knowledge without love. In each case, the result was death on a large scale... Bertrand Russell. . . In the Philippines, a powerful typhoon Yolanda hit the province of Samar, Tacloban. It destroyed billions of pesos worth in farm land, properties, and assets such as homes, hotels, schools, commercial and residential and government buildings, hospitals, roads and bridges, and also caused the death of more than ten thousand innocent Filipinos. Quite a lot of them, as inspired by the love of God, went inside damaged churches to pray for deliverance. Instead, they experienced more of the activated horrors of nature in their respective provinces as willed by God's divine plan... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Street Children in the Philippines and in the Western Countries

More than two million Children live, sleep, play, beg, eat, pee, poo in the streets of our major cities. But the real tragedy behind these horrors is not only the so-called Filipino street children. They also struggle to survive in the streets with their street mothers and fathers who have been assured daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly by Jesus: BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE POOR IN SPIRIT, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. In the meantime, more than 200 million children sleep in the streets of the western world. None in Cuba - a small communist country populated and managed mostly by atheists... Democratic Freedoms

Political democratic freedoms include freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of assembly, which includes freedom to hold meetings, marches, and demonstrations. Personal democratic freedoms include inviolability of person and home; privacy of correspondence, telephone conversations, and telegraphic communications; and freedom of conscience, or the right to profess or to decline to profess religious beliefs. Bourgeois constitutions and laws proclaim democratic freedoms but do not generally provide effective guarantees. The government has emergency powers to suspend or nullify various articles of the constitution that establish democratic freedoms. In the socialist countries the law not only recognizes the democratic freedoms of citizens but also provides material and legal guarantees for exercising them. In the Philippines, it is sad, if not pathetic. Millions of college-educated men and women only enjoy the freedom of conscience or the right to profess religious beliefs. Or worst, the freedom only to fuck but not to think. As for me, a high school expelled student, I enjoy the freedom of speech, the freedom of thought, the freedom of inquiry, the freedom to read, the freedom of expression, and the freedom to struggle for religious sanity. Most Men love Fucking. They Hate Thinking

Men in the majority love fucking. They hate thinking. Men in the minority love thinking. I am one of those in the minority of men who love thinking much more than I love fucking. In the meantime, great thinking writers like Ernest Hemingway said it: "All thinking men are atheist." I totally agree. Atheism has more, much more to do with thinking than it does with fucking like damned fools, thoughtless jerks, and mindless saps... No doubt, one of the greatest joys in life is to feel the pleasures of sexual orgasm; but nothing beats the greatest of pleasures that I would rather experience all the time - the joys of intellectual iconoclasm. . . Biblical Garbage, If not Ecclesiastical Trash

God's grace is infinite love expressing itself through infinite goodness... Philippine Star ... In the Philippines, as the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century this so-called God's grace being infinite love expressing itself through infinite goodness is a lot of biblical garbage, if not ecclesiastical trash. Millions of poor Filipinos are still waiting, hoping, and praying for the Savior Jesus to arrive to remedy the ills of our sick and insane society. Especially sick with religion; and insane with superstition. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Yes, Majority as against the Minority

We are so happy and proud that there are only the few atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, and heretics existing in our sick society. But what is more stupid is that we are even more proud and happy that our sick and corrupt politicians in the government; our sick and corrupt teachers in school; sick and corrupt professors in college; sick and corrupt priest, bishops, and cardinals in church all believe and have faith in God; specially the God who is always ready, willing, and able to forgive all of our sick sins and sick crimes keeping us sick as a people and corrupt as a nation.

Which System of Logic Should be Follow

A college-educated lawyer on these pages lectures me on my logic and its fallacies; while himself NOT realizing that he is the one more at home with his structural distortion, semantical deception, and substantive distraction...I ask: which system of Logic should we follow? There are so many of them in the world - the canonical logic of ancient China, the grammatical logic of ancient India, the syllogistic logic of Aristotle, the dichotomous logic of Remus, the sick logic of the sick lawyers in the Philippines; and, lastly, the mathematical logic Bertrand Russell who fathered the "computer" industry which in turn gave birth to the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc. Surely, there are far more logical systems in heaven and on earth than are dreamed of by any logician... In the meantime, I ask again: where is the revealed truth revealed in the bible? How come in this 21st century, since the 1st century - man's most noble of profession is still the search of the truth since none has yet been discovered with the power of logic? A Qualified Leader

"A qualified leader is one who has learned to serve."... Philippine Star, Jan. 27, 2014. . . In the Philippines, however, a qualified leader is one who has learned how to be corrupt. Thanks to the power of prayer to God who is always available to forgive all of the sins and crimes of the corrupt leaders of our sick and poor country...Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook@ Google#

I Love the Fight Worth Fighting For

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. . . Mark Twain . . . For my part, I fight not only those fight that are worth fighting for; but I also love to fight enemies that are higher, taller, and greater than I am . . . How else could I bring more light and beauty and love into this world of horror, hate, and darkness if I were to fight only the Lilliputians of this world? Poch Suzara ... Twitter# Facebook# Google#

GOD LOVED THE WORLD AND LOVED THE PHILIPPINES

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. . . Listen to Jesus: "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Matt. 19:21. . . We Filipinos today in this already 21st century are the filthy poor. We did not have to sell our possessions. It was all taken perfectly away from us; especially our own country by the Catholic Priesthood Industry. They are now the filthy rich while we filthy poor Filipinos remain as the perfect followers of Jesus. . . For my part, as a Filipino loyal to my beloved country, and as I do not care for treasures or for eternal life in heaven later after death, I thank God and His Son Jesus that I am an ATHEIST! Without Science and Techonology

Without science and technology a nation can neither be rich nor powerful. It can only be poor and backward like the Philippines. Still stuck under a mindless religion as inspired by thoughtless theology. Indeed, in this already 21st century, we Filipinos still believe that our country is under the control of God's will and since God can be be moved with the power of prayer we acquire a share in God's divine plan as something omnipotent. The Mockery of Law in the Philippines

There is no such thing as the Force of Law in the Philippines because the Rule of Law is mostly about the mockery of Law. . . What, however prevails in our poor and backward only Catholic country in Asia is the Rule of Lies, Deceptions, and Corruption... Under article 7 Section 1 of the Philippine Constitution, says: The president shall not be eligible for any re-election... President Gloria Arroyo run for Congress and won. President Joseph Estrada run for Mayor of Manila and won! So much for the Rule of Law. So much for the Force of Law. Only the Mockery of Law generating our sick society. But then again, why should we respect the laws of our country when our own sick lawyers who are more frightened of the Laws of God than they are brightened or enlightened with the laws of our country? Or, more to the point, why should we bother with the rule of law in our country when we have been educated to show more love, respect, and affection to the existence of the Immaculate Conception that we should with the existence of the Philippine Constitution? Sick Values as Inspired by Sick Faith

I am disappointed that not one of the correspondents asked Pope Francis these 2 questions:1) Why is it that there is such a widespread and rampant graft and corruption in the Philippines which is predominantly Catholic and where most of the leaders are Catholics? and 2) Why is it that the Catholic authorities in the Philippines hold as much as 18 billion pesos of stock investments when this could be used for alleviating poverty among poor Catholics? . . . Ben Rivera. . . The answer to both questions is because the Catholics involved are not practicing their faith. . . CV My dear Ben and CV, What about those millions of Catholics in the Philippines who are practicing their faith by perpetually being SILENT of the sins and the crimes committed by fellow-Catholics who are the leaders of the Catholic Church and the leaders of our Catholic government? . . . Indeed, man of faith is not only one who clings to lies and deceptions, but is also like a drunkard who clings to a lamppost for support, not illumination. . . Now I am told that as atheists, we too have "faith." That we have faith in reason and faith in mankind. NO! We atheists have no "faith." What we feel from what we perceive we don't call faith. We know that humankind has to rely on itself. Nothing or nobody is going to help solve our human problems and troubles. If we don't do it, it isn't going to be done. And, we know further than that: - we cannot guess at the answers. We must try to analyze, to comprehend, to grasp intellectually and to move reasonably by taking all the factors into consideration. We atheists are always in the habit of questioning EVERYTHING! After all, questions are always far more precious than the answers because the answers, in time, become obsolete! . . . Poch Suzara

8 Atheist and Agnostic Scientists Who Changed the World

8 Atheist and Agnostic Scientists Who Changed the World. . . Non-believers are among our most respected and beloved heroes. . . By Greta Christina from Google. . . It's common knowledge -- or it should be -- that atheists are among the most reviled and mistrusted groups in America. We consistently come in at the bottom of polls about who Americans would vote for, who they would trust, who they want to marry into their families, who they think shares their view of how the world should be. . . But it's also the case that non-believers -- not atheists as a group, but certain individual atheists and other non-believers -- are among our most respected and beloved heroes. Not everyone knows that these people aren't religious, of course... but they're not. And scientists are among the most admired of those heroes. Maybe it's because scientists are more likely to be non-believers than the general population... and the more advanced in their field they are, the more true that becomes. Or maybe it's because great scientists -- American or not -- embody the old-fashioned American values of exploration and curiosity, the willingness to question and the passion for truth, persistence in pursuing dreams and courage in the face of adversity. (These values aren't uniquely American, of course -- but when people gas on about the American character, these ideals do tend to turn up in the conversation.). . . So here are eight non-believing or agnostic scientists, whose work and lives and stories can inspire anyone -- atheist, religious, or other. . . 1) Stephen Hawking. What can I say? Dude can think. Dude is revising the entire way we think of the universe. Dude is on the cutting edge of explaining why the universe even exists. And dude doesn't believe in a personal God. He has written an entire book, The Grand Design, explaining that God isn't necessary to explain the origins of the universe. Quote: "Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going." He has described the most important point of his book as being "that science can explain the universe, and that we don't need God to explain why there is something rather than nothing or why the laws of nature are what they are." He has said that, "The scientific account is complete. Theology is unnecessary." And he can be quite passionate on the subject: he's said that belief in Heaven or an afterlife "is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark." And no, he's not inspiring because he's disabled, and disabled people are here on Earth to overcome adversity and be courageous and give inspiration to the rest of us. Fuck that noise. Yes, of course, overcoming adversity is awesome. But Hawking would be inspiring if he came up with his ideas while doing one-handed push-ups. . . 2) Alan Turing. He's been called the founder of computer science, and the founder of artificial intelligence. The fact that you're reading these words on a computer -- the fact that you can send email, text your loved ones in an emergency, do your banking in seconds instead of hours, use your phone to look up weird facts at bars, and have access to every other way that computers have radically shaped and improved our lives -- is something you owe, in large part, to Alan Turing. But even more inspiring is the work he did cracking German codes during World War II. The cryptanalysis of the Enigma machines used by the Axis was "decisive to the Allied victory" -- those are the words of Dwight D. Eisenhower. And Turing was one of the most brilliant and most central people responsible for it. Turing's story is actually pretty sad. Despite the years of devoted work he did for his country -- work that arguably saved his country -- Turing was prosecuted for homosexuality (a crime at the time in England). He was given a choice between prison and chemical castration; chose the latter; and committed (probable) suicide two years later. The way he was treated by his country was despicable and tragic. But his story is also inspiring. And it gives the lie to the ridiculous notion that, without belief in God, people would have no meaning to their lives, no basis for ethics, and no reason to care about anyone other than themselves. Turing was an atheist -- he let go of his religion as a teenager, when a close friend died of tuberculosis and he decided materialism made more sense than religion -- and he devoted years of his life to his country, and to halting the spread of fascism. . . 3) Rosalind Franklin. Rosalind Franklin's story is also a bit sad. A researcher in biophysics, her work was crucial in Watson and Crick's discovery of the DNA double helix structure. In fact, according to Francis Crick, her data was "the data we actually used" to formulate their hypothesis about the structure of DNA. But her data was obtained under less than ideal circumstances, by Watson and Crick without her knowledge, and she died without ever being properly credited for the work she did. But she's an inspiration as well. I mean... DNA. Come on. It's one of the most fundamental ways we have of understanding ourselves and our place in the world. She made understanding it possible. And she did this at a time when it was exceedingly difficult for women to even get into science, much less do groundbreaking, earth-shaking, brain-rearranging work in it. And yes. Big old non-believer. From one of her letters: "I agree that faith is essential to success in life ... but I do not accept your definition of faith, i.e. belief in life after death. In my view, all that is necessary for faith is the belief that by doing our best we shall come nearer to success and that success in our aims (the improvement of the lot of mankind, present and future) is worth attaining ... I maintain that faith in this world is perfectly possible without faith in another world." . . . 4) Neil deGrasse Tyson. I was a little reluctant to include Tyson in this list. Tyson doesn't call himself an atheist, he calls himself an agnostic, since he associates the word "atheist" with "activist atheist," and generally resists being identified with the atheist movement or any other "ism." (For the record: I think his definition of atheism is inaccurate and overly narrow.) But this isn't a list of inspiring atheist scientists. It's a list of inspiring non-believing scientists. Tyson is definitely a non-believer. In fact, his agnosticism, as he describes it, is pretty much indistinguishable from most atheists' atheism. And he's definitely inspiring. The fact that he's director of the Hayden Planetarium -- and that this is among the least well-known of his accomplishments -- is a good sign of just how awesome he is. He may be the best science communicator of our generation. He is extraordinary at explaining science to non-scientists, in a way that isn't patronizing or dumbing-down. He makes science seem exciting, fun, important, moving, joyful. All of which it is. And he communicates this joy to millions. . . 5) Alfred Kinsey. In the face of vehement hostility and vilification -- including a congressional investigation that resulted in loss of funding for his research -- biologist Alfred Kinsey dedicated his life to a scientific, evidence-based understanding of human sexuality. With its frank discussion of the realities and prevalence of homosexuality, bisexuality, premarital sex, extramarital sex, masturbation and more, his research radically changed the way we understand and experience our sex lives. And it both broke the ground and laid the groundwork for every scientific study of human sexuality since. Kinsey's passionate pursuit of truth, even when it defied convention; his passionate commitment to the advancement of knowledge that could demolish toxic misinformation about sex; his passionate devotion to the promotion of human happiness in some of the most pragmatic, down-to-earth ways imaginable... this can inspire us all. . . 6) Eugenie Scott. This woman kicks ass and takes names. Specifically, she kicks the asses and takes the names of people who are trying to teach religious creationism in the public schools. An anthropologist by training and trade, since 1987 she has been executive director of the National Center for Science Education -- the leading organization working to keep evolution and climate science in public school science education, and working to keep creationism and climate change denial out of it. If you have kids in the public schools, she has dedicated her life to ensuring they get an actual, evidence-based science education -- and to ensuring that their religious training is left up to you, and isn't in the hands of the government. Like Neil deGrasse Tyson Eugenie Scott doesn't call herself an atheist. Instead, she calls herself a non-theist and humanist, and has said, "I believe there is nothing beyond matter and energy." That's plenty good enough for this list. Another non-believer who works like crazy to make this world a better place -- and who can inspire anyone to do the same. . . 7) Andrei Sakharov. Sakharov was a Soviet nuclear physicist, and was one of the developers of the Soviet atomic bomb. I know. Less than inspiring. But he is far better known as a Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, free speech advocate, courageous dissident against Soviet repression, and tireless opponent of human rights violations everywhere. As a result of his writing and activism, he was stripped of his job, publicly denounced by the government, robbed of manuscripts by the KGB, arrested, internally exiled to Gorky, and force-fed during a hunger strike. He continued with his activism nonetheless... literally until the day he died. And... oh, yeah. Atheist. The child of a pious mother and a passionately atheist father, Sakharov became an atheist at age 14, and remained one for the rest of his life. In 1988 he was given the International Humanist Award by the International Humanist and Ethical Union. . . 8) Thomas Edison. Betcha didn't know this one was an non-believer! Well, he was. Quote: "I have never seen the slightest scientific proof of the religious ideas of heaven and hell, of future life for individuals, or of a personal God." Quote: "So far as religion of the day is concerned, it is a damned fake... Religion is all bunk." Quote: "I cannot believe in the immortality of the soul....I am an aggregate of cells, as, for instance, New York City is an aggregate of individuals. Will New York City go to heaven?....No; nature made us -- nature did it all -- not the gods of the religions." I assume I don't have to explain why Thomas Edison is inspiring. So the next time someone tells you atheists have no morality... tell them about Andrei Sakharov. The next time someone tells you atheists have no meaning in their lives... tell them about Stephen Hawking. The next time someone tells you atheists don't care about anyone but themselves... tell them about Eugenie Scott. and Alfred Kinsey. The next time someone tells you atheists have no reason to work for the greater good... tell them about Alan Turing and Neil deGrasse Tyson. The next time someone tells you atheists can't change the world for the better... tell them about Rosalind Franklin and Thomas Edison. Atheists aren't just your neighbors and colleagues. We're not just your friends and family. Atheists are your heroes. And whether you're religious or not, atheists can inspire anyone. . . Poch Suzara
