Native American History

Native American History - Early History The History of Native Americans is both fascinating and in many ways, tragic. Estimates range from about 10 – 90 million Native Americans inhabited America at the time of the European arrivals. They had lived in the land many, many years before white man set foot on their soil... It is believed that during the ice age, they had traveled a land-bridge across the Bering Sound, from Siberia into what is now Alaska. They had gradually migrated across the land and southward into Mexico and beyond. The name “Indian” was given them by Christopher Columbus who mistakenly believed he had landed in the Indies. They have been labeled Indians, American Indians, and the now preferred Native Americans. They migrated to all regions of the land and were formed into many different tribes or nations... These were a people who adapted well to their particular regions and made wise use of all natural resources available. They believed in respecting the land and the abundance of gifts it offered. They became proficient fishermen, hunters, farmed crops such as corn, and built homes with whatever available resources their territory provided. Some of these included animal skins, sun-dried brick for adobes, or lumber for long houses depending on the regions. Native American History - Native Americans and the Europeans The Native Americans of the east coast met the new 16th and 17th century visitors from Europe with enthusiasm. They regarded these bearded white men as strange but were delighted with the steel knives, mirrors, copper kettles, and other intriguing novelties. The indigenous tribes were more than accommodating and hospitable. Without their aid, the first waves of settlers would not have survived in the land they knew little about. But in time the Europeans disregarded all respect for the valued land and resources and instead displayed insatiable greed and arrogance... The Europeans soon pursued their intent to conquer this new continent with brutal attacks and invasion. The Native Americans soon realized that the invaders would arrive in overwhelming numbers, as many “as the stars in heaven.” Initially, the people of this land tried to co-exist with the Europeans. But many more problems arose. With all their intriguing gadgets, the white men brought deadly diseases to the Native Americans. The colonists and explorers brought measles, smallpox, cholera, yellow fever, and many more devastating diseases. This drastically diminished the Native American population and annihilated entire villages. In addition to this, the arrogant attitude of the ever-growing whites led to the Indian Wars, the Indian Removal Act (1830), and in 1890 one of the worst massacres ever -- Wounded Knee, South Dakota. Here warriors, women, and children alike were ferociously slaughtered by the U.S. Cavalry. The U.S, government began Relocation Programs and the now famous Trail of Tears march where hundreds of Cherokee died from starvation, exposure, and illnesses. The Native American peoples were not only reduced in number but taken from their homes, stripped of their customs, and even forbidden to speak their native languages. Their children were taken from them and sent to schools to “civilize” them, forced to abandon every aspect of their heritage. In January 1876, the U.S. government forced them to live on ‘reservations’ where the majority of Native Americans still reside today... Native American History - The 20th Century Native Americans Some consider Native Americans as a resilient people. The Indian Citizen Act of 1924 offered official citizenship to the Native American tribes. This was partly due to the heroic service of many of them in World War I. Others like Jim Thorpe, Sequoyah, and Sacajawea have represented their people with greatness. There are well over 500 recognized tribal governments currently in the U.S. They are self-governed and considered to be sovereign nations of people within America. There are currently more than 2.48 million Native Americans, according to the 2000 census bureau. While most still live on the reservations, they are considered some of the most poverty-ridden areas in the United States. Unemployment is 5 times higher than the general U. S. population, according to the 2002 Bureau of Indian Affairs. As with many defeated, oppressed people, they have suffered tremendously from the plagues of alcoholism and suicide. These were once a vibrant and resourceful people. They have been robbed, humiliated, and removed from all they knew. Though many have tried through the centuries to civilize, Christianize, and Americanize the Native American people, there are organizations today that recognize the important heritage of these nations. For example, Wiconi International says “we want to see Indigenous people come to know and experience ultimate freedom, and deliverance from the powers of darkness that still prevail in lands and communities…” ... In the meantime, in view of the above, I say again to Ayn Rand, you are such a sick tootie-frootie of a Patootie when it comes to judging a people who were already existing in America for more than a thousand years before the white "trash" arrived to ruin everything that was so beautiful, so peaceful, and so delightful in America!. . . Millions of Filipinos Have only a God to Worship, that's all.

"If you want to control a population and keep them passive, keep beating them over the head and let them look somewhere else... give a God to worship." ... Noam Chomsky... I said it before, I say it again: Millions upon millions of Filipinos believe, have faith, and worship God who will provide for them in this world, if not, in the next world, - after death. This is WHAT Catholic schools, Catholic colleges, and Catholic universities have been and still are mostly about in the Philippines. Even the Secretary of the Department of Education is a Catholic - Christian Brother Fermin Ilustre - former president of De La Salle University. A typical university where its teachings are more about the business of NOT developing the healthy human spirit; but more about the spreading the sick holy spirit to keep and maintain the power, glory, wealth and authority of Catholicism in the Philippines for centuries yet to come. The Lies About Death

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. . . Steve Jobs I am told that since my dead great grandparents, dead grandparents, dead parents, and dead uncles, aunties, cousins, in laws, friends and associates, including dead classmates in La Salle grade school and high school - since all lived as good Catholics; all believed in the good Lord; and all had faith in God as our creator - they are now in the kingdom of God more known as heaven enjoying eternal salvation... Well, I ask: how come they are all still dead and buried and their bodies rotting in the cemeteries? For my part, as an atheist, I say: if we atheists must die, let us die sober, and not drunk with lies. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Dr. Jose Rizal

"He who wants to help himself should help others, because if he neglects others, he too will be neglected by them." - Dr. Jose Rizal ... Oh My dear Dr. Jose Rizal, in this already 21st century, we Filipinos do not care to help each other; but are still into that senseless "God helps only those who can help themselves." Since there isn't even a God existing here, existing there, or existing anywhere - we Filipinos continue to exist helpless as a people and senseless as a nation! ... Poch Suzara

The Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama was asked what surprised him the most; he said “Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.” Oh my dear Dalai Lama, it is truly regrettable, nay, despicable, that we have never heard about how great a man you are in the schools, colleges, and universities in our country; especially as own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. WOW! AYN RAND, YOU ARE SUCH A TOOTIE FROOTIE, NAY, A PATOOTIE

Now, I don't care to discuss the alleged complaints American Indians have against this country. I believe, with good reason, the most unsympathetic Hollywood portrayal of Indians and what they did to the white man. They had no right to a country merely because they were born here and then acted like savages. The white man did not conquer this country. And you're a racist if you object, because it means you believe that certain men are entitled to something because of their race. You believe that if someone is born in a magnificent country and doesn't know what to do with it, he still has a property right to it. He does not. Since the Indians did not have the concept of property or property rights--they didn't have a settled society, they had predominantly nomadic tribal "cultures"--they didn't have rights to the land, and there was no reason for anyone to grant them rights that they had not conceived of and were not using. It's wrong to attack a country that respects (or even tries to respect) individual rights. If you do, you're an aggressor and are morally wrong. But if a "country" does not protect rights--if a group of tribesmen are the slaves of their tribal chief--why should you respect the "rights" that they don't have or respect? The same is true for a dictatorship. The citizens in it have individual rights, but the country has no rights and so anyone has the right to invade it, because rights are not recognized in that country; and no individual or country can have its cake and eat it too--that is, you can't claim one should respect the "rights" of Indians, when they had no concept of rights and no respect for rights. But let's suppose they were all beautifully innocent savages--which they certainly were not. What were they fighting for, in opposing the white man on this continent? For their wish to continue a primitive existence; for their "right" to keep part of the earth untouched--to keep everybody out so they could live like animals or cavemen. Any European who brought with him an element of civilization had the right to take over this continent, and it's great that some of them did. The racist Indians today--those who condemn America--do not respect individual rights... Ayn Rand WOW! My dear Ayn Rand, you are such a Tootie-Frootie, nay, a Patootie! Are you saying then that during the 16th century, the Catholics from Spain had every right to conquer the Philippines and to civilize the filipinos with Catholicism? And if we Filipinos were never converted into Christianity - Filipinos today in this already 21st century won't be famous throughout the world as the SICK MAN OF ASIA for the greater glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven? The Endless Source of Filth in our Sick Country

THE significance of health and sanitation cannot be taken for granted in a decent society. Every civilization stresses the importance of cleanliness. Historically, cleanliness has been considered one of the important factors by which to judge whether a nation enjoys civilization or more at home with superstition. Waste management is the collection, transport, processing or disposal, managing and monitoring of waste materials. The term usually relates to materials produced by human activity, and the process is generally undertaken to reduce their effect on health, the environment or aesthetics, and indeed, to maintain and support the Tourism Industry. I said it before, I say it again: we are not orderly as a people. We are filthy as a nation. Look how we only dream over the prospect, but never get down to brass tacks in the task of cleaning the filth off in the Pasig river, Laguna De Bay, and Manila Bay. Not to mention also cleaning the mess off our bus stations and train stations; towns, barrios, and cities; public parks; police stations; bus and train stations; airports, harbors, and piers; keeping clean our public markets and public toilet facilities. Not to mention cleaning the filth behind our sick religion and sick politics in our country. Not by praying daily and nightly, but planting flower plants and re-planting cut down trees have yet to take serious roots as a part of our culture, custom, and tradition. In the meantime, we have yet to get real as to why we must, first and foremost, clean the dirt off our minds and the filth off our hearts. Especially in facing and dealing with the real source as to where the dirt and filth everywhere in our sick society comes from. After all, everything that is messy and dirty around us everywhere is the exact reflection of what we Filipinos learn from schools, colleges, and universities. Aside from a green revolution, what we need, however, is the revolution of our minds and hearts. Indeed, dirt that comes from our dirty system of education! Our schools, colleges, and universities are neither clean nor organized as educational institutions. They hardly teach the values of cleanliness in public, or the beauty of orderliness as a Republic. They are just commercial enterprises established only to make money, tons of money. Well, if the monies made have turned out to be dirty too - our officials in the government are just happy and proud and grateful to grab it for their own pockets. In the meantime, I should wish to ask our Secretary of Education Christian Brother Fermin Ilustre: Sir, when will you start doing your job in cleaning up the traditional Catholic mess out of our sick system of education! A nation cannot be radically reformed except by a radical reform of its values and beliefs as taught in schools, colleges, and universities! ... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Only in Asia

In China, the Chinese love China. In Japan, the Japanese love Japan. In Thailand, the Thais love Thailand. In Malaysia, the Malaysians love Malaysia. In Vietnam, the vIetnamese love Vietnam. In Cambodia, the Cambodians love Cambodia. In Korea, the Koreans love Korea. In Singapore, the Singaporeans love Singapore. In Indonesia, the Indonesians love Indonesia. In Taiwan, the Taiwanese love Taiwan. In Laos, the Laotians love Laos. In Bangladesh, the Bangladeshis love Bangladesh. In the Philippines, however, the only Catholic country in Asia since 400 years ago, the Filipinos do not love the Philippines, but love only its Savior - Jesus, who was born as a Jew in a Jewish Land that was never converted to be a Catholic country. It is still today a Jewish State. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Saint John Baptist de La Salle

To touch the hearts of your pupils and to inspire them with the Christian spirit is the greatest miracle you can perform, and one which God expects of you." - Saint John Baptist de La Salle . . . Oh my dear Saint John Baptist de La Salle, what about touching also the hearts and minds of your pupils in school with the human spirit: to learn how to love each other, how to love our family, how to love the human community, and indeed, how to love our country down here? Isn't the endless fight of the holy spirit against the evil spirit all based a lot of childish nonsense? In the Philippines, most, if not all of the men and women with college education from La Salle university know only how to love God up there; especially by hating our country down here. Otherwise more known as the "Christian spirit." For my part, I am most proud and happy that I got expelled out of la Salle high school some 65 years ago... It is, in this way, that on my own initiative, I have learned to stop having faith in human stupidity. I have learned to stop loving Christianity. I learned to dump all of my useless love, needless respect, and mindless admiration for a silly divinity up out there. I only love my country down here. - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Education is Far More Precious than Indocrination

No doubt, the key to our spiritual growth as a people and to our scientific development as a nation is via "education." Unfortunately, what we acquire in the Philippines is not "education," but "sick indoctrination." Indeed, schools, colleges, and universities are Catholic establishments where we learn to love not our family, to love not our country, and indeed, to love not humanity down here; but learn only how to love a sick divinity existing somewhere up out there. Is it any wonder that most men and women, even boys and girls, in our country, do not enjoy the freedom of thinking? but enjoy only the freedom of fucking. We produce three babies every minute of the day and night; or, 180 babies every hour; or, 4,320 babies every day; or, 129,600 babies every month; or, 1,555,200 million babies yearly! After our women deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - babies to inhabit our poor and backward country, our men have also been indoctrinated to openly and publicly declare that "WE ARE PROUD FATHERS!" In the meantime, millions of the nation's children live off garbage in the streets of our major cities. We are even indoctrinated to believe that God has always loved us Filipinos and has always blessed the Philippines for being the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. In the meantime, I asked it before, I ask it again: What value has our freedom of expression if, as children in schools, colleges, and universities - we are never taught to value the free play of free thought inside or outside, in front or in the back, below or on top - the playful arena of free ideas? Indeed, what value has the freedom of expression if we are never encouraged to question, for example, the destructive influence of sacred beliefs, parental prejudices, or even to challenge the validity of ecclesiastical authority? For my part, I always enjoy the freedom to make mistakes or, more to the point, - the freedom to be able to learn from my mistakes. In this way, I will always, to the end of my days, embrace the freedom of expression as one of life’s most precious of freedoms. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Horror that is America is Disgusting

US soldier Bowe Bergdahl 'was disgusted with Afghan war and ashamed to be American' Sgt Bowe Bergdahl, a US soldier being held prisoner by the Taliban after disappearing from his base had told his parents he was disgusted with the Afghan war and ashamed to be American. A United States soldier being held prisoner by the Taliban after disappearing from his base had told his parents he was disgusted with the Afghan war and ashamed to be American. Sgt Bergdahl criticised his superiors, calling his battalion commander a "conceited old fool", By Ben Farmer, Kabul Sgt Bowe Bergdahl, now 26, has been held for almost three years and is the only American soldier held by the insurgents, after going missing in a south eastern province of Afghanistan. The American military has never detailed the events of his disappearance, but there were reports at the time that he had just walked off his base in Paktika province after completing a guard shift. His family, from Hailey in Idaho, have now released an email he sent days before his disappearance in which he spoke of his disillusion with the American military. "The future is too good to waste on lies," he wrote in the email obtained by Rolling Stone magazine. "And life is way too short to care for the damnation of others, as well as to spend it helping fools with their ideas that are wrong. I have seen their ideas and I am ashamed to even be American. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting." Sgt Bergdahl criticised his superiors, calling his battalion commander a "conceited old fool", and said the American army was composed of "liars, back-stabbers, fools, and bullies". He concluded by saying: "I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting." His disappearance triggered an intense manhunt as troops were pulled off planned operations to search for him. At the time, Afghan officers taking part in the search said they had been told Sgt Bergdahl had suffered some form of breakdown. A Taliban statement said he had been captured after falling behind on a patrol. He is not classified as a deserter and is listed as "missing-captured." Since his capture, he has appeared in a number of hostage videos released by the Taliban, in which he has pleaded for his release. He is believed to be held in northwestern Pakistan. His parents have recently begun giving interviews about their son's imprisonment after becoming frustrated with the failure of official efforts to free him. American officials had tried to broker his freedom in a swap for five Taliban leaders currently held in Guantánamo Bay US military prison in Cuba. The transfer had been conceived as a "confidence building measure" to kick start wider talks between the enemies to find a political settlement to the conflict. The initiative appears to have stalled in the face of opposition in Congress to concessions to the Taliban. Meanwhile the number of American troops who have died in the decade-long conflict on Thursday passed 2,000 according to the icasualties website, which compiles casualty figures. Oh my dear US soldier Bowe Bergdahl, thank you for being honest, truthful, and courageous in the real sense of the word. You are, indeed, a rare and a great American. I salute you. If only there were more of you as American citizens - there will be peace, sanity, and tranquility in this world of ours! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

J.K. Rowling, Author of Harry Potter

J.K. Rowling is no longer a billionaire. . . The billionaires club has hit J.K. Rowling with a banishing spell. According to the newly updated Forbes Rich List, the Harry Potter author has gone from billionaire to millionaire (several hundred times over, of course). She apparently broke a few rules of how to stay rich by giving away a lot of her fortune — reportedly $160 million of it — to charity and by paying her top-rung British taxes. There’s no way that the socially minded Rowling, who once lived on welfare, gives two Quaffles about her standing on the list, and no one should shed a tear over a stratospherically rich woman becoming slightly less so. But I always liked knowing that an author of imaginative, timeless, honest-to-goodness books became a billionaire. On the contrary, J.K. rowling is far far richer than ever. After all, the worst kind of poverty is the poverty of the mind and heart... while the greatest of wealth is the health of the mind and heart. Poch Suzara

Overpopulation Good for the Philippines Says Catholic Bishop

Bishop Gilbert Garcera of the Diocese of Daet, the capital of Camarines Norte, believes overpopulation has been advantageous to the Philippines and to the world because it has increased the number of overseas workers and migrants who could send remittances back home while taking care of ageing people abroad and spreading the Christian faith... Contrary to the aims of the reproductive health (RH) bill, Garcera said the huge Philippine population could be part of “God’s plan for Filipinos to be caregivers to ageing nations whose populations had become stagnant.” Oh my dear Bishop Gilbert Garcera, you are such a cheap liar and as corrupt as any of our corrupt politicians in the government. Why I love and Respect Atheism

Atheism is wholesome, honest, and trustworthy because it faces the facts of life devoid of fear. As an atheist, I thank God that I am an atheist. After all, God himself was an atheist who created me in His own image and likeness... Please read carefully God's first commandment: THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.". . . This simply means that God does not believe nor does He tolerate the existence of other Gods - and that makes God a SUPER ATHEIST... So my dear friends, what is the problem? If God, in his own image and likeness, created me to be an atheist - why should that bother any of you religious saps and jerks over why I am a proud and a happy atheist? Cheers! HAPPY MEMORIAL VETERANS DAY

(CNN) -- U.S. veterans are dying because of delays in diagnosis and treatment at VA hospitals. . . . At least 19 veterans have died because of delays in simple medical screenings like colonoscopies or endoscopies, at various VA hospitals or clinics, CNN has learned. . . That's according to an internal document from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, obtained exclusively by CNN, that deals with patients diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and 2011. . . .Hospital delays are killing war vets. . . The veterans were part of 82 vets who have died or are dying or have suffered serious injuries as a result of delayed diagnosis or treatment for colonoscopies or endoscopies. . . Barry Coates is one of the veterans who has suffered from a delay in care. Coates was having excruciating pain and rectal bleeding in 2011. For a year the Army veteran went to several VA clinics and hospitals in South Carolina, trying to get help. But the VA's diagnosis was hemorrhoids, and aside from simple pain medication he was told he might need a colonoscopy." Indeed, HAPPY VETERANS MEMORIAL DAY. American soldiers come home from war maimed or injured but are unable to find hospital care; many also are unable to find jobs in the Land of the Free and the Home of the brave. After the Second World War, tens of thousands of Filipino soldiers fought on the sides with American soldiers against the Japanese soldiers. After the war, hundreds of thousands of Filipinos had to fall in line to acquire a visa, if at all granted, to go to America. But The Japanese, and indeed the Germans, former enemies of freedom and democracy, could go readily visit the USA without a visa! I said it before, I say it again: war between nations has never been about good versus evil. It has always been about evil versus evil and evil always won. Too bad the soldiers on either side fighting evil have as yet to fully understand that war between nations has never, but never ended the evils of war as an instrument to settle international disputes. What war has only accomplished is the preparation for future wars. In this already 21st century, I'd like to share with all of you the thoughts of Bertrand Russell on the subject of war: "You can, if you think fit, prepare children for a military life by teaching them all to do the same thing at the same moment when they hear the word of command. If you do, they will grow up thwarted and stunted and full of deep-seated anger against the world - no doubt useful emotions if they are to become soldiers employed in killing, but not if they are to be happy citizens of a world at peace." "God desires that we show respect to all people, because everyone bears His image." Philippine Star, May 29, 2014. . . But respect should be shown only if it is earned with honor. Why should we respect our corrupt congressmen or corrupt senators just because they bear the image of the Lord while office; or, because they identify themselves as "maka-Dios" or "Mala-Jesus while they steal billions away from the millions of filthy poor Filipinos getting filthy poorer? ... I said it before, I say it again with all due respect: Pork ina ninyo sa Congresso; baboy tatay ninyo sa senado... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

There is No Such Thing as Life After Death

"I said it before, I say it again: We must face and appreciate the truth that life has only to do with birth which is the existence of something, and should have nothing to do with death which is the existence of nothing.

That there is a better life to come after death is all but a ecclesiastical hogwash. There is no such thing as life after death. There is only life after birth. Consider for millions of years before birth, we were existing as a nothing. It will be the same merry-go-round after death. We shall again be existing as a nothing.

After death, even if one were still alive in spirit, I ask: with what eyes shall we see; with what ears shall we hear; with what nose shall we smell; with what palate shall we taste; with what skin shall we feel; with what sexual organ shall we have sex; and indeed, with what brain shall we be able to think?... In the final analysis, We do not die partially or temporarily. We die entirely and, indeed, permanently. Nothing is more evident to him who is not delirious. The human body, after death, is but a mass of meat, incapable of producing any movement the union of which constitute life. We no longer see circulation, respiration, digestion, reflection, or the freedom of expression. Nothing is more natural and more simple than to believe that the dead man is no more. There is nothing more absurd than to believe that the dead man is still living.

H. L. Mencken summarized neatly for all of us to clearly see: "Immortality is the condition of a dead man who does not believe that he is already dead."

For my part, as an atheist, I said it before, I say it again: If we must die, let us die sober, and not drunk with lies or delusions... I do not regret nor do I feel sorrow at the death of a love-one, a relative, a friend, or an associate. I am happy with the thought that the dead are already resting in peace forever and can no more be bothered with lies, illusions, confusions, or deceptions! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Veterans Memorial Day

137 years later, Memorial Day remains one of America's most cherished patriotic observances. The spirit of this day has not changed - it remains a day to honor those who died defending our freedom and democracy. . . Doc Hastings. . . I ask: where was the honor of those who died taking land away from the Native Indians - land that eventually got to be known as the United States of America - the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave! By the way, the area of the United States is 3,603,884 square miles... In the meantime, we are told that we Americans did not invent "human rights;" in fact "human rights" invented America. No kidding? What ever happened to the "human rights" of the Native Indians - the original owners of what is known as America - the greatest defender and protector of freedom and democracy around the world today; especially in the poor and backward Philippines - her greatest ally since 1898? . . . The Wealth of the 10 Most Richest Filipinos

MANILA, Philippines - If the combined wealth of 10 of the richest Filipinos represents the income of more than 20 million wage earners, then what inclusive growth is President Benigno Aquino III talking about? "A workers' group on Friday assailed the chief executive's assertation before the World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia that the Philippines, through the Filipino people, had made inclusive and remarkable growth doable. The group said that while there might have been progress, this failed to trickle down to the poor. Partido ng Manggagawa (PM) chairman Renato Magtubo said that based on his group's study, the estimated US$45.3 billion combined wealth of the country's 10 richest people is equal to the annual income of 21 million miniumum wage earners - a proof that economic growth does not translate to substantial poverty reduction as its benefits remain concentrated in the hands of a few. "The Philippines is not a fantastic story of economic miracle but an old testament to this kind of regional growth pattern where a handful of business elites control more than half the economy," said Magtubo. “The Philippine government cannot claim ‘inclusive growth’ until this ratio of inequality is effectively reversed,” he added. Basking in the international acclaim of one of the region’s most astounding “economic miracles,” Aquino on Thursday attributed the country's remarkable growth to the collective effort of the Filipino people. "When many of you have praised the achievements of the Philippines, we always point out that the pursuit of large-scale reforms in every aspect of governance is the achievement of the Filipino people," Aquino said in his speech at the opening of the WEF in Manila. "They made the goal of achieving inclusive growth doable, and it is also they who will make it irreversible," the President added. But Magtubo countered Aquino's statement, saying that any mention of the word "people" at the WEF, "won’t go beyond the context of market – open markets for corporate products and cut-price and flexible labor markets for their efficient operations." “Thus the WEF cannot brag about wonders and miracles when Asia remains the biggest home to the world’s poorest people epitomized by workers in vulnerable employment,” said Magtubo. The Asian region has the highest rate of informalization in the world, according to PM. "As defined, informal workers are the own-account (self-employed) and unpaid family workers combined. They also include workers in irregular (contractuals) or seasonal employment," Magtubo explained. He said that recently, informal workers had been labelled as precariats or workers living in precarious working conditions. The group said the International Labor Organization (ILO) had estimated the Asia-wide “vulnerable employment” in 2007 at 1.1 billion people or 62.2 percent of all workers in the region, while informalization in the Philippines is estimated to be between 41 and 77 percent." In the meantime, I asked it before, I ask it again: Have any of you ever met a Filipino who got to be FILTHY RICH for believing that God is BAD? So how come millions of Filipinos are FILTHY POOR and yet they all believe that God is GOOD! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Maka-Dios and Maka-Jesus Corrupt Politicians in our Government

Philippine Star, May 27, 2014, Letter to the Editors: Dear Sirs: In your front page today, it says: "Final "Napolist" out today."... I ask: don't you people ever think that those 18 senators involved in the billions of pesos SCAM - not one of them has ever been known to be an "atheist?"... As a matter of fact, all have been and still are openly-declared "maka-Dios" and "maka-Jesus."... I said it before, I say it again: it is time for us Filipinos, specially thinking Filipinos, put to a stop the same old religious bullcrap historical as a total nonsense in our God'forsaken country. Cheers! Poch Suzara, Atheist Twitter# Facebook# Google#.

Christianity as a Filthy Rich Organized Religion

Christianity did not become a major religion by the quality of its providence, benevolence, competence, or eloquence; but by the quantity of its violence in acquiring nothing in this world except the power of opulence... In the Philippines, the Catholic church has successfully achieved such opulence via the violence against the malleable minds and hearts of the millions of innocent children at home and in schools, colleges, and universities mostly own and operated (tax-free) by the Catholic church since the 16h century... Indeed, we are all, each and every one of us - the stupid victim, and not the intelligent master of religion! . . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

No, It's not only Aquino Who's Useless

Philippine Daily Inquirer Letter to the Editors Monday, May 26th, 2014 Dear Sirs: It's Aquino Who's Useless Super Typhoon “Yolanda” survivors are calling Ping Lacson useless as rehabilitation czar (“Ping useless, say ‘Yolanda’ victims,” News, 5/17/14). That actually wasn’t quite as surprising as when President Aquino appointed him to that position a few months ago... Indeed, rather than work to help the survivors, Lacson has chosen to spend most of his time blabbing about the pork barrel scam and the infamous list of those allegedly involved in it... But the Yolanda survivors can’t blame Lacson more than they should blame President Aquino. Lacson’s appointment didn’t make sense from the very beginning but, true to the opportunist that he seemingly is, he didn’t turn down the position. So the bigger issue is President Aquino’s decision to appoint Lacson. Nothing much has been “delivered” by Malacañang since Yolanda. Yes, there was the news about “finished” bunkhouses for survivor-families, which were “inspected” and approved by President Aquino, but which turned out to have been substandard. So in a sense, the one who is useless is not Lacson but President Aquino himself, who can’t do anything significant for the Yolanda survivors except to appoint a useless bureaucrat to attend to them. —MELLIE SANCHEZ, melanie_sanchez1992@yahoo.com... My Dear Mellie Sanchez, I read with great interest your letter published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer today... May I, however, point out to you what's historically useless in our country... All of those as employees (some 17 million of them) and as high officials in the government are products of schools, colleges, and universities own and operated (tax free) by the Catholic church in the Philippines... Just like the rest of us, they too have been educated from grade school to high school and up to college to believe that as individuals, or as a family, or as a people, or even as a nation - whatever our problems and troubles we need not worry nor should we be bothered because there is always God who will provide for us in the end. If not in this world, in the next. Do you see now why we Filipinos are still spiritually useless as a people, and still morally useless as a nation? Cheers! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Truthfulness

It is not in spite of, but precisely due to, - the schools, colleges, and universities... Mostly own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines... We Filipinos have never been taught how to be spiritually free as a people; nor, have we ever been taught how to morally develop independently as a nation... To begin with, there is no such beauty as love of our country... There is only love of mendacity; especially for the sake of a silly divinity in need of more money otherwise more referred to as the Word of God under Christianity... I said it before, I say it again: If truthfulness were suddenly a serious way of life with us Filipinos in the Philippines, the government, the churches, schools, colleges, universities, and, indeed the media - radio, television, newspapers, and magazine business would suddenly go bankrupt, dead, and buried! Golf Courses in America and in the Philippines

There are over seventeen thousand golf courses in America, they average over one hundred and fifty acres a piece. That’s three million plus acres, four thousand, eight hundred and twenty square miles. You could build two Rhode Islands and a Delaware for the homeless on the land currently being wasted on this meaningless, mindless, arrogant, elitist, racist, there’s another thing; the only blacks you’ll find at country clubs are carrying trays. And a boring game. A boring game for boring people. You ever watch golf on television? It’s like watching flies fuck! George Carlin Golf courses for the few filthy rich are proliferating throughout the Philippines. Instead of planting fruit trees, rice, corn, flower plants, etc. the filthy rich, who have nothing else better to do, are plating golf balls for the pleasure of driving such balls to only God knows where. And so, for the many filthy poor struggling to survive in this only Christian country in Asia, it means land deformed instead of land reform... Poch Suzara

What is Worth Thinking

Woman's Vagina and Man's Penis and Life on this Earth

The ugliest part of a woman's body is her ugly looking vagina. The ugliest part of a man's body is his ugly looking penis. To think that the vagina and the penis are both needed to make babies as we are commanded to multiply and to replenish the earth. In order, however, to deodorize the ugly reality, or to sanitize the ugly activity, we tell each other religious lies like: God created man in His own image and likeness!. . . Indeed, instead of understanding the beauty of the human medulla oblongata, we only need to believe and to have more faith in a lot of ugly dogma, ugly pigma, and ugly hogma. In the meantime, in the ultimate reality - human life on this earth is nothing but a sexually-transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent. Or, to put it more bluntly, life is a disease for which there is no cure. None whatsoever. Like damned fools in a ship of fools we are all sharing, whether we like it or not, - a common doom together. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

LOOK AT HOW THE CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY ALWAYS IN CONFLICT WITH ISLAM THEOLOGY ALWAYS IN CONFLICT WITH JEWISH THEOLOGY! THEY WOULD RATHER HATE EACH OTHER AND FIGHT IT OUT TO THE DEATH THAN TO DISCOVER THE TRUTH ABOUT WHY RELIGION, ALL RELIGIONS ENCOURAGE HUMAN STUPIDITY THAT CULMINATES INTO HUMAN INSANITY FOR ALL OF MANKIND TO BECOME VICTIMS OF INTELLECTUAL POVERTY NOT ONLY GLOBALLY, BUT ALSO PERPETUALLY... The Truth as more Precious than Health or Wealth

When asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said: “MAN." Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.” Dalai Lama. . . We squander our health in search of wealth. We toil. We sweat. We save. Then we squander our wealth in search of health. Only to find the grave. Anonymous... For my part, as an atheist, I am most happy and proud of myself as a man. For most of my life, I squandered my health in search of the truth. The Evils of War as Inspired by Religion

"War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children." - JIMMY CARTER. . . Perhaps, we could begin to learn how to live in peace as one happy human family together on this earth as soon we teach our children to acknowledge the ugly truth that human life is but a sexually-transmitted disease with a mortality rate of 100 per cent on this earth; and, to accept also another ugly truth: that our wars as written by historians have never been about good versus evil. It has always been about evil versus evil and evil always won! At most times, we sanitize the filth of war or deodorize the stench of war by saying that "war may sometimes be a necessary evil." In the meantime, let's listen to what a great philosopher said on the subject: "Religion prevents our children from having a rational education; religion prevents us from removing fundamental causes of war; religion prevents us from teaching the ethics of scientific cooperation in place of the old fierce doctrines of sin and punishment. It is possible that mankind is on the threshold of a golden age, it will be necessary first to slay the dragon that guards the door, and that door is religion. - BERTRAND RUSSELL Twitter# Facebook# Google#

God in Heaven Up There

International Labor Organization

In the Philippines, the only Catholic country since the 16th century, we Filipinos, as faithful Catholics, have been taught to believe that God will always provide us with what we pray for. In fact, in the bible, Matthew 7:7-8, it says: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for everyone that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened." In a recent report, however, released in January 2014 by the International Labor Organization (ILO), it says the Philippines has the highest unemployment rate for the previous year among the 10 member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean). Philippine Daily Inquirer, May 21, 2014. Such is the power of prayer; but we are told that the trouble with us is that we do not pray hard enough; we must only pray harder. And Like damned fools in this God-forsaken country - in this already 21st century - in order to find employment - millions of us in the labor force still do pray a lot! Light and Darkness

"Never forget in the darkness, what you know to be true in the light." Philippine Star, May 21, 2014. . . In the first chapter of the Bible God said on the first day of creation, “Let there be light: and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). But it isn't until several verses later, on Day 4 of Creation Week, that we find that the sun, moon, and stars were created. “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also … to give light upon the earth” (Genesis 1:16-17). At any rate, obviously God Himself was no blinding bright light. He had to create the sun to brighten the darkness around Him. In the meantime, in 1 John 1:5 we are told that "God is light" and in Him there is no darkness at all. Are we to suppose that this is what having faith in blind faith has been all about? Eternal and temporary Punishment

"I do not believe that any person who is profoundly humane can believe in everlasting punishment." Bertrand Russell. . . Oh my dear Bertrand Russell, in the Philippines, the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century - the teachers and professors in Catholic schools, colleges, and universities do not only believe and teach the doctrine of eternal punishment in life after death, but also believe and teach temporary punishment in life after birth. In the meantime, in our sick and sinful society, it is a sin to be patriotic. What, however, is not a sin is to always be faithful as a Catholic. Poch Suzara

Zero Population Growth

The trouble with our silly teachers and professors in schools, colleges, and universities together with our mindless politicians in the government all in cahoots with our frightened officials in the health Department - they are all scared to entertain the reality of ZERO POPULATION GROWTH - because the Catholic bishops will damned them all to hell for the greater glory of God in heaven. Zero population growth, sometimes abbreviated ZPG (also called the replacement level of fertility),[1] is a condition of demographic balance where the number of people in a specified population neither grows nor declines, (same number of births with same number of deaths) considered as a social aim by free and independent nations.[2] According to some, zero population growth is the ideal towards which countries and the whole world should aspire in the interests of accomplishing long-term environmental sustainability.[3] I asked it before, I ask it again: how could we ever attain ZERO POPULATION GROWTH when the Catholic bishops themselves in the our poor and backward country have not ceased to frighten our women that if they practice family planning and birth control measures God will cease to love them and will no longer PROVIDE FOR THEM! What a lot of Catholic historical bullcrap! Poch Suzara, Atheist Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Reading is Like traveling

Reading is like traveling - it is useless if one cannot change or refuses to learn something new. If one only hopes to grow older; not wiser. It is also just like making money. It is utterly a waste if one were only to remain selfish, greedy, stupid, and religiously insane - proud and happy of nothing except the recycled garbage around them more referred to as "blessings from God," as God provides. I have met a great many people who have traveled and have even migrated to live and work in foreign countries. They are there happy and gay eating good food together; hardly, however, are they into creative reading of a good book together. Catholic Charity Activities endless in the Philippines

"If Satan appears to me and gives me money, I will accept the money and spend it all for the poor. It is not the practice of the Church to ask donors where their donations come from. Our duty is to make sure all donations go to the poor. The devil remains . . . my enemy but I will use his resources to feed the poor." -- Oct. 25, 2000, defending the Catholic Church's acceptance of a total of P181 million in donations from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation since 1998. Jaime Cardinal Sin... The trouble is, since even God needs money, the poor people in the Philippines are not getting any better; in fact, they are only getting poorer - Thanks to the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly charity activities of the Catholic church in the Philippines since the 16th century - the only Catholic country in Asia that need, for its growth and economic development, foreign investments from the Catholic Vatican bank - the richest and most powerful bank in the world in this 21st century. Was Jesus Truthful

"Look for Christ's return and you'll live for Christ's glory." Philippine Star, May 20, 2014 More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus promised his followers that he would return quickly in glory and vindication. He vowed to establish the kingdom of God on earth and to redeem their suffering. To heighten their expectation he assured his followers that most of them would live to see all of this come to pass. His dismal failure to do so places the Christians on the arena of a serious dilemma. Jesus’ hollow promises work to seriously undermine his credibility. If the credibility of Jesus is undermined, so is that of the church. If, on the other hand, it is argued that the gospels and Paul reported incorrectly, does that not seriously undermine the reliability of the New Testament? Even if one were to argue that God knowingly inspired the contradictions, errors and undelivered promises in the New Testament why should anyone believe and practice any of its teachings if so much of it could be revealed falsehood? The following bible verses confirm that Jesus deliberately lead his followers into false expectations. Matt. 10:23 – When giving instructions to his disciples as to just how they are to go about spreading his message Jesus says, “for truly I say unto you, you shall not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of man comes.” Matt. 26:28 - Jesus says, “There are some of those standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” Matt. 24:33-34 - After prophesying a wide assortment of events including the second coming, Jesus said, “ . . . when you shall see all these things, know that it ( the 2nd coming ) is near, even at the door. This generation shall not pass till these things be fulfilled.” Jesus was obviously referring to the contemporary generation. Matt. 26:74 – When brought before Caiaphas, the chief priest, Jesus said to him, “ I will tell you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man . . . coming on the clouds of heaven.” According to this the second coming was to happen during Caiaphas’ lifetime. Mark 9:1 - And he said unto them, “verily, I say unto you, that there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. Luke 21: 27-28 – “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:32 – “verily I say unto you, “This generation shall not pass way, till all be fulfilled.” 1 Thess 4: 15-17 – In his first epistle to the Thessalonians Paul assures the congregation that the second coming is very near,” . . . “we who are alive,” . . . shall not proceed those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven . . . and the dead Christ shall rise first . . . Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together. . .” Revelation 22:12 – Behold, I come quickly.” Revelation 22: 20 – “Yes, I am coming quickly.” More than two thousand years have already passed, yet Jesus’ promise of a quick return remains undelivered. Our world today is in desperate need of a Savior. Specially the Filipinos in the Philippines. So where is Jesus? I think it’s time to admit that Jesus has even forgotten all about the revealed truths in the bible that have yet to be revealed. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google

I am Most Proud to be a Failure in Life

As a former believer, I am proud to have gradually failed to follow Jesus and his teachings. Jesus warned: “If any man come to me and hate not his father, and his mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26. On more family values from Jesus, please also read Matthew 10:34-37, Matthew 19:29, Luke 12:51-53, and Luke 19:27. And after reading such verses from Jesus and you can still consider yourself as a faithful follower of Jesus, then I say: you are indeed a mentally sick person! It is, indeed, painful to know that in this 21st century, the teachings of Jesus continue to be quite a success at home and in schools everywhere in the Philippines keeping us Filipinos ever famous as the Sick Man of Asia. In the meantime, I ask: how may we progress as a nation if the religious officials of our government were not working for the people; but are, instead, only answerable to the voice of God supposedly speaking from the Vatican Bank from out there? Oh yes, smile, God loves you; but He needs money! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Why We filipinos are Spiritually Fucked as a people

Valuable lessons are learned from examining the lives of God’s people who’ve gone before. Philippine Star, May 19, 2014. Oh my dear Philippine Star Editors, I entirely agree with all of you: We have certainly learned valuable lessons by examining the lives of all those past Maka-Jesus congressmen and Maka-Dios senators of our blessed by God government. Sadly, however, those past God's people as high government officials have certainly kept us spiritually fucked as a people and economically fucked as a nation. As you little boy going to La Salle Taft Avenue in the late 40's and early 50's, I used to see poor Filipinos pee and poo in the streets. As I got older, I saw hundreds more Filipinos pee and poo and beg in the streets. Now that I am a senior citizen, I see thousands of poor Filipinos not only peeing and pooing and begging in the streets, but also eating, sleeping, playing, and fucking in the streets of our major cities. To think that they are also God's citizens of the Republic of the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century. In the meantime, out of the 100 MILLION Filipinos populating our country, it is estimated that 30 MILLION Filipinos are known to be homeless, jobless, and hopeless. This is only because the other 70 MILLION Filipinos have been educated in Catholic schools, colleges, and universities to be directionless as a people and to be rudderless as a nation; specially as Maka-Jesus and Maka-Dios and as Maka-bible citizens of the Republic of the Philippines. Confucius and the Filipino as a People

In China, centuries ago, Confucius wrote: ORDINARY MINDS TALK ABOUT PEOPLE. AVERAGE MINDS TALK ABOUT EVENTS. GREAT MINDS TALK ABOUT IDEAS. In the Philippines, however, thanks to our sick system of education via schools, colleges, and universities - we Filipinos are not curious about ourselves as a people; we are not curious of the history of our country; we are not even curious about the power of new and fresh ideas. We are only curious about life after death with God in heaven. Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. . . . Benjamin Franklin . . . It is, indeed, incredibly ticklish. Most of my college educated friends, my own school-mates in De la Salle University - have never written anything worth reading; in fact, they have not, as yet, accomplished anything in life worth writing. . . In the meantime, here is a greater tragedy as we are a Republic: our schools, colleges, and universities - happily, have produced millions of Filipinos able to read and write; unhappily, however, they have also been intellectually crippled to distinguish what is worth reading, what is worth writing, and indeed, what is worth believing or worth throwing out the window! Our Public schools and Private schools

Our Public schools are the nurseries of all of our sins, vices, and criminality as a sick society. Our private schools, however, are places where they produce millions of Filipinos to earn a living by emigration to a foreign country, if not able to earn a living by corruption in our own country under God blessed with Christianity. The Power of Questions

Ignorant men raise questions that wise men answered a thousand years ago. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe... Oh my dear Wolfgang, questions are far more precious than the answers because the answers, in time, become obsolete. It is otherwise more referred to as the growth of knowledge under the endless search of the truth. Our sons today know more than our grandfathers knew yesterday... sadly, however, most of my friends, associates, and relatives live with the answers to questions that they themselves have not asked... They are among the hundreds of millions of frightened believers in this world. For my part, I live not with silly answers, but with intelligent questions. In this way, I may ask more questions, and to formulate better and deeper kinds of questions... Indeed, I am an atheist... Atheism is a worldwide movement today without followers... In the business of questioning everything around us in life today, we atheists are the leaders... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Most Americans and Most Filipinos

Most Americans love cars. They love watching games like football, baseball, and basketball. They love going to the gym. They also enjoy creating war in foreign countries in order to insure that the few rich men and rich women behind the Military-Industrial-University Complex get richer. Most Filipinos, on the other hand, love money. They also love divinity, drama, basura, and the woman's vagina. Such horrors reflect just how sick we are as the sick Man of Asia. They are also the chief causes of large-scale corruption as a way of daily life in the Philippines: love of social insanity, love of political stupidity; especially, love for the sake of promoting and defending the beliefs and values of silly Christianity. How Sick are We Filipinos as the Sick Children of Asia

Indeed, we Filipinos have yet a lot of growing up to do as a people; and, have yet to achieve a healthy maturity as a nation. Science has done more for the development of western civilization in one hundred years than Christianity has done for civilization in two thousand years. As a matter of historical reality, Christianity, during the past 400 years has done virtually nothing for the growth and development of civilization in the Philippines - the only christian country in Asia since the 16th century All kinds of causes are submitted to explain why we Filipinos are poor as a people; and why our Philippines is still backward as a nation. No one seems to have the guts nor the gumption to openly and publicly declare the truth. For my part, I said it before, I say it again: Poverty in the Philippines is simply due to, if not because of, one great historical evil – “Christianity.” Poverty comes from poor minds and poor hearts. Christianity has always dominated the Filipino mind and the Filipino heart. Indeed, according to Christian values and beliefs, we Filipinos are better off poor and suffering and spiritually malnourished in this life. In this way, we could gain eternal salvation but only later after death with God in heaven. We are, indeed, the Sick Children of Asia: In this already 21st century, we are still into that insane salvation business after death with God in heaven. We still could not care less for civilization as a people. Indeed, we still do not care to live under a manner of life guided with the joys of reason via the pleasures of more knowledge. Just how sick are we as the Sick Children of Asia? Millions upon millions of us continue to have endless faith in the sick preachings of the Catholic bishops; the sick preachings of Bro. Eduardo Manalo of Iglesia Ni Cristo; the sick preachings of Bro. Mike Velarde of El Shaddai; the sick preachings of Bro. Eli Soriano of Dating Daan; the sick preachings of Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Church; the sick preachings of Bro. Apollo Quiboloy - the appointed Son of a sick God; and, the sick teachings of Bro. Bo sanchez of the church of the Tooties, Frooties, and Patooties. These sick religious leaders are responsible for the signs displayed everywhere in our sick society - SMILE, GOD LOVES YOU AND HE NEEDS MONEY! Indeed, there is something despicable in our going about daily in life sustained with comfortable lies and deceptions on the one hand; and, on the other hand, inspired with illusions, confusions, and delusions. Yearly - for more than 400 years now, we Filipinos continue to be not the healthy masters, but the sick victims of religion in our own country. Other countries in Asia are already enjoying not only the higher standard of thinking, but also enjoying the higher standard of living. On the other hand, we Filipinos, millions of us, are still stuck in filth with our higher standard of praying for a Savior to rescue and to save us! To think that this Savior is a Jew born in a Jewish land that never got to be convert into a Catholic or a Christian country. It is still a Jewish State. In the meantime, here are the chief causes of large-scale corruption in the Philippines: faith in social insanity; faith in political stupidity; and faith in a silly divinity. All for the sake of protecting and defending and supporting not science or civilization, but only faith in Christianity in our poor and backward country. I say it again: If only our schools, colleges, and universities were to begin producing leaders, not followers; producing thinkers, not believers; producing truth-seekers, not faith-healers; producing employers, not sick employees; producing originators, innovators, and inventors, and stop producing sick preachers, sick actors, sick imitators, sick governors, and sick senators - millions of us Filipinos would have every reason to be happy and proud as citizens of our country; especially a country enjoying common human decency spreading everywhere . And therefore no longer in a perpetual need to be faithful to a sick divinity under sick values and beliefs keeping us ahead but only in the business of a sick religion as the main product of a sick system of education!. Throw Your Sick Bible Out the Window

"One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. And the Lord said unto Satan, whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it." Job 1:6-7 Hijos de tootie-frootie y patooties, where did such angels and Satan come from? Who created them? And they presented themselves to the Lord to accomplish WHAT? I said it before, I say it again: if you wish to straighten out the sick mess that's keeping your sick mind twisted and distorted with sick pigma, hogma, and dogma - throw your sick bible out the window! History and Herstory

Why is our world still in a mess as it has always been in a mess? Too much of the horrors in this world have been due to stupid men and his stupid history. It has been ongoing for centuries now. There never was a war between good versus evil. The history of wars fought by men has always been about evil versus evil and evil always won. I say it is time for women to take over. It is time for her to straighten the mess out of this world with more of herstory. Let us have no more insane history. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

There is No Justice as the Truth has yet to be found

Justice is truth in action. Benjamin Disraeli... If this were true then there is no such thing as justice. To Find One's Self Under Self-education

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. . . Ralph Waldo Emerson . . . For my part, as I began to notice that my teachers in La Salle grade school were teaching me how to become frightened as a follower and how to become stupid as a believer; and not how to become an intelligent thinker and how to become a wise believer - I started to entertain ways and means to get myself expelled out that academic mess. Indeed, eventually, happily, proudly, and courageously I got expelled out of La Salle high school. After which I enrolled as a lifetime student in the greatest of all universities - it is but a collection of books. In the meantime, Isaac Asimov said it for all of us to consider: “Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.” I entirely agree. Indeed, Education is not the preparation for death; education is what life, this life, should be all about. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Christians Do not Love this World

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15... Indeed, the Christians do not love the world. They hate the world. They have been taught to believe that there is a better world to come after death with Jesus in heaven. Especially the millions of Filipinos as Christians: they do not love the Philippines; they hate even fellow-Filipinos for the love of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven. Poverty as a Product of Schools, Colleges, and Universities

We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty. Mother Teresa... Oh my dear Mother Teresa, you are way off course. We can remedy poverty not in the home, but precisely in the schools, colleges, and universities. They are places where poverty of the worst kind - the poverty of the mind and heart are taught. Indeed, inside most homes in the Philippines are those who are the mindless and the heartless. They continue to exist as the poor reflection of a poor system of education. The Death and Resurrection of Jesus

The greatest miracle that Jesus Christ accomplished was His death and resurrection. Can you cite one particular person who did what Jesus Christ did? --- Ben Rivera Indeed, if Jesus did NOT resurrect from the dead, the whole edifice of Christian belief collapses. If it did NOT happen, then all who die, regardless of whether they have accepted Jesus as their Savior or not, will NOT be resurrected either. If Jesus did NOT resurrect himself to eternal life, then neither will anyone else come into “life” in the “kingdom” either. Death will be it, sorry, no refund. One of the chief “proofs” that priests and ministers extol as valid “evidence” of Christianity’s “Good News” being true, is their insistence of the “uniqueness” of Jesus having resurrected from the dead. Unfortunately, that “uniqueness” is also bluntly torpedoed by the bible itself in both the “Old” and in the ”New” Testament. Many resurrections took place before Jesus did it. He was not original in the miracle. The following characters came back to life from the dead: Elijah stretched himself upon a dead child three times and the kid recovered. 1 Kings 17:17-22 Samuel said to Saul: “Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?” 1 Samuel 28: 7-15 Elisha raised the dead son of a Shunammite. 2 Kings 4: 32-35 “The bones of Elisha were touched as a dead man was lowered into a grave and the dead man was revived.” 2 Kings 13: 21 “Moses and Elijah come back to life at the time of the transmigration.” Luke 9:28-30 “The dead saints arise just after the resurrection.” Matt 27:52-53 “Jarius’s daughter rises from the dead.” Matt.9:18-25 “Nain’s widow’s son rises from the dead.” Luke 7:11-15. Also, “Lazarus rises from the dead.” John 11:43-44 These people did that “ordinary” perfect miracle before Jesus entered into the miraculous show as an imitation. So what’s unique about Jesus doing the same thing? Was he not just imitating an already common practice? When we also consider that some of these “resurrection were accomplished by the crackpots, the saps, and the jerks and those who had been dead long enough to rot and and decay and stink, it would surely be a greater miracle if we can still put much “faith” in zombies as describe in these Biblical accounts. We are Poor Spiritually as a People and Fucked Morally as a Nation

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matt. 5:3 Indeed, to learn how to be poor in spirit is what Catholic education has been and still is mostly about in the Philippines: to learn how to be frightened believers; hardly to learn how to be courageous thinkers. As ignorance prevents its own enlightenment, we cannot even figure out why, in this already 21st century, we Filipinos are only getting more famous as the Sick Man of Asia. Look how in this day and age, we Filipinos still believe and have faith in the recycled biblical lies and ecclesiastical deceptions. Look how we still believe in the insane messages preached not only by the Catholic bishops, but we also continue to believe in the same recycled delusions and confusions from the religious charlatans such as Bro. Mike Velarde of El Shaddai; Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord church; Bro. Eli soriano of Dating Daan; and Bro. Apollo quiboloy - the appointed Son of God. All of them, by the way, are among the filthy-rich individuals in this filthy-poor, God-forsaken, and morally crippled country. I said it before, I say it again: The worst kind of poverty is the poverty of the mind and heart - otherwise more known as being "poor in spirit;" specially for the glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven! To think that Jesus was not even born in the Philippines. According to the silly bible, Jesus was born, some 2,000 years ago, in a foreign Jewish land, not in a Catholic country. Look at us filipinos as a people in this already 21st century: we are still into more praying, believing, singing, dancing, joking, laughing, lying, waiting, hoping for the arrival of our Savior; and, indeed, as we produce three babies each and every minute of the day and night, we are still busy, more than ever before into more propagating, really, in reality, into more fucking! In the meantime, thanks to schools, colleges, and universities standing not as educational institutions, but as commercial enterprises established by the Catholic church in our poor and backward country, we are hardly a nation of intelligent thinkers, leaders, readers, explorers, innovators, and inventors; not to mention - enlightened voters. We are only a nation of silly believers and frightened followers busy with our childish prayers! Poch Suzara Twitter# facebook# Google#

The Power of Prayer

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22. I say this is not true. It is a lie. The Greatest of Crimes in the Philippines

Types of lesser Crimes in the Philippines: Crimes Against Persons Crimes against persons, also called personal crimes, include murder, aggravated assault, rape, and robbery. Personal crimes are unevenly distributed in the United States, with young, urban, poor, and racial minorities committing these crimes more than others. Crimes Against Property Property crimes involve theft of property without bodily harm, such as burglary, larceny, auto theft, and arson. Like personal crimes, young, urban, poor, and racial minorities generally commit these crimes more than others. Crimes Against Morality Crimes against morality are also called victimless crimes because there is not complainant, or victim. Prostitution, illegal gambling, and illegal drug use are all examples of victimless crimes. White-Collar Crime White-collar crimes are crimes that committed by people of high social status who commit their crimes in the context of their occupation. This includes embezzling (stealing money from one’s employer), insider trading, and tax evasion and other violations of income tax laws. White-collar crimes generally generate less concern in the public mind than other types of crime, however in terms of total dollars, white-collar crimes are even more consequential for society. Nonetheless, these crimes are generally the least investigated and least prosecuted. Organized Crime Organized crime is crime committed by structured groups typically involving the distribution of illegal goods and services to others. Many people think of the Mafia when they think of organized crime, but the term can refer to any group that exercises control over large illegal enterprises (such as the drug trade, illegal gambling, prostitution, weapons smuggling, or money laundering). But the greatest of crimes in the Philippines is the crime of silence; especially by our corrupt congressmen and senators in the corrupt government. Never, do they ever tell on each other. We need private citizens as "whistleblowers" to spill the beans on these criminals! But, in the ultimate analysis, our big-time, filthy-rich, famous, powerful criminals are all happy. They do not end up in jail; instead, they end up in the hospital for an executive Check Up! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Raising the Standard of Corruption in the Philippines

(The Philippine Star)) May 12, 2014 EDITORIAL - Raising tuition "Like all services, education must adjust to inflation. Every year operators of private learning institutions seek an increase in tuition, citing higher prices of supplies and equipment, renovation and maintenance expenses, and the need to increase the pay of teachers and other school personnel. This year has been no different, with 353 colleges and universities all over the country applying for a tuition hike. Only schools in Eastern Visayas, which is still reeling from the destruction caused by Super Typhoon Yolanda, did not apply for a tuition increase, according to the Commission on Higher Education. While consumer prices have steadily gone up and teachers, like all salaried workers, are always hoping for higher pay, tuition increases can be tempered and schools must provide value for money. Education is one of the biggest expenses for a middle-class Filipino household. For most of the 40 percent of the population classified as poor or very poor, higher education is a luxury beyond their reach. Those who can afford to go to college or technical and vocational school must also grapple with the substandard quality of education provided in a number of institutions. Filipino seafarers, for example, face the prospect of being banned from all Europe-registered commercial vessels if the country’s maritime schools fail to pass another review in October for compliance with European standards. Thanks to substandard schools, there are still too many graduates who fail to pass professional licensure exams after spending their parents’ life savings on their college education. Previous attempts by the CHED to regulate substandard schools were stymied by politicians who owned the institutions or protected relatives and friends who owned such schools. The problem is most pronounced in learning institutions that are geared toward producing graduates for the overseas labor market. While charging tuition that millions of Filipino families consider to be a fortune, the schools pay little attention to international standards that graduates must meet to land a job abroad." Philippine Star, May 12, 2014 I said it before, I say it again: Instead of raising the standard of learning, what is only always raised is the standard of corruption for such commercial enterprises more known as schools, colleges, and universities in our country. Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not corrupt. In the Philippines, we are made corrupt by the power of education. Take a good look at all of our officials in the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of the government - they are all corrupt and even more corrupt than how education has already molded them! Catholicism in the Philippines

During the 16th century, Spain conquered the Philippines with the sword in one arm and the cross on the other. The arm that held the sword had been cut away, as it were. The arm that holds the cross is still very much secured and solid in this already 21st century. This has been made possible by the ownership of vast number of schools, colleges, and universities operated (tax-free) by the Catholic church. Yearly, such commercial enterprises produce not well-informed Filipinos as good citizens of the Philippines; specially to defend, protect, and promote nationalism; but produces only more devout and faithful Catholics taught to defend, protect, and to promote first and foremost - Catholicism in the Philippines. Is God for Real

"We worship a God who is greater than our greatest problem." Philippine Star, May 12, 2014. Wow, no kidding? The bible tells us that: "God helps only those who can help themselves." Acts 17:11 ... Well, if, with God, everything is possible, isn't it possible for God, to be a real honest-to-goodness God, when He helps those precisely who are unable to help themselves? Really God, are you truly the greatest but only as a supernatural tootie-frootie? To think that in the Catholic system of education in our country - schools, colleges, and universities established by the Catholic church - we are always taught to believe and to have faith that in this life, no matter what, God will always provide! Provide what? Provide with sick and corrupt politicians in the government of the people, by the people, and for the people! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The One and Only Purpose for the Existence of Government

The one and only purpose for the existence of government is to keep its citizens safe. Not, however, in the Philippines: the one and only purpose for the existence of the Philippine government is to keep its citizens fucked; specially its women. It is, in this way, that we are able to produce 3 babies every minute of the day; or 4,392 babies daily; or 131,760 babies monthly; or 1,581,120 babies yearly. Who benefits the most out of this national tragedy? Obviously not the Filipino as a people nor the Philippines as a nation; but only for the churches, schools, colleges, and universities, and the corrupt politicians out to get elected or re-elected to run the corrupt and utterly inefficient government. I asked it before, I ask it again: After more than 100 years of so-called "education" offered by schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia, is this the most we can achieve as a people; and the most we can accomplish as a nation? In the meantime, only in the Philippines: we are the only country in Asia that's been traditionally blessed by God with an insane system of Catholic corruption as inspired by an insane system of Catholic education! Human Life as a Disease

Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent." - R. D. Laing

Isn't it glaringly obvious, if not alarmingly transparent, that in the business of propagating the human species and replenishing the earth, fathers, especially mothers have never been the master, but precisely only always as the victim of sexual activities? In the meantime, there is no cure for the disease called "life." There is even no cure for the disease called "death." Oh well, whichever. We might as well enjoy the sick journey. After all, we all equally share a common doom together - our final destination into the unknown. Law as a Farce, a Fraud, and a Ceremony

In the Philippines, for the most part, law is neither the rule of law nor a force of law. There is only the rule and the force of farce, a fraud, and a ceremony. Specially due to, if not because of, lawyers and judges in court. They subpoena witnesses to appear in court "to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth - so help you God!" If lawyers and judges in court were themselves truthful, they should also require that God be present to testify. Otherwise, how could God be of any help if he is only allowed to be always omni-absent. Never, but never - omni-present! In the meantime, only in the Philippines: there is the Catholic church with its Holy trinity comprised of God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the holy Spirit. In the Philippine government, however, there is also the Holy Insanity: the lawmakers, the lawbreakers, and the law enforcers all three happy stealing in cahoots together. They are more popularly known to be: maka-dios; maka-Jesus; and maka-pera! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Crimes Bigger than the Crime of Abortion in the Philippines

Yes, abortion is evil. Besides, it is no thrill to kill a baby inside the mother’s womb. It’s called murder; and murder is a crime. What’s more thrilling, however, is to let the babies be conceived, let them be born, let them grow up a bit, give them a fighting chance, and then kill them. Kill them with malnutrition, filthy surroundings, parental neglect, diseases, or asphyxia from vehicular soot and lead. Indeed, many of the nation’s poor children play, trade, sell, eat and sleep, pee and poo, and God knows what else they do – in the streets of our major cities. What’s our purpose in being so overly concerned with babies not yet existing, and at the same time be stupidly apathetic with children already existing but also already dying? Isn’t this the height of religious hypocrisy? If we do not abandon our children in the streets, we abandon them in school. There, for the most part, they are taught not how to stand up to needs of the human race, but only how to kneel down to divine grace. How to seek a life of piety by ignoring knowledge and wisdom that should help them carry on a decent and a healthy society. Indeed, for the most part, they only learn how to love divine grace up there by hating the human race down here. Thus, the SICK MAN OF ASIA! Poch Suzara Twitter@ Facebook# Atheist# Google#

The Bread of Life

Did you ever ask yourself that if it was the end of the world what is the last food that you would eat or last thing that you would do before you die. My relative says, to answer your question - I would like to eat the Bread of Life and be at peace with Our Good Lord before I say goodbye to this world. Wow, I ask: who baked that "bread of life" for you; and, to whom do you address your prayer of thanks for these thy gifts for which you are about to receive from thy bounty through Christ, our Lord, Amen. For my part, as an atheist, before my meal, I thank the cook. I thank the fishermen who catched fish. I thank the farmers who plant rice; breed chickens, pigs, and cows; I thank the traders who delivered such goodies to the market place. I thank the vendors in the market who sell such items; and, most of all, I thank the maid who washes the dishes at home for me. No, I do not thank the Lord. He has not even returned as yet as He had promised to do so some 2,000 years ago in order to complete His mission to destroy this world, our world. Poch Suzara Twitter# facebook# Google#

We are what we are due to Nature's decree

When we are born, our brain is wired into our becoming a comedian, or a musician, politician, theologian, mathematician, logician, a criminal, singer, writer, painter, a believer, unbeliever, not to mention a lunatic, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a frightened Catholic, etc. As with me, ever since I was a little boy in school, I enjoyed questioning my teachers in class; especially in what they taught me to believe and to have faith in. Due Process of the Law as the Greatest of evils

Definition of Due Process of Law "The essential elements of due process of law are notice, an opportunity to be heard, and the right to defend in an orderly proceeding." Due process of the law is the sought-after refuge of the criminals and the scoundrels of our sick society. This is also the evil where our sick lawyers earn their living. "To dispense with notice before taking property is likened to obtaining judgement without the defendant having ever been summoned." "An orderly proceeding wherein a person is served with notice, actual or constructive, and has an opportunity to be heard and to enforce and protect his rights before a court having power to hear and determine the case. "Due Process of law implies and comprehends the administration of laws equally applicable to all under established rules which do not violate fundamental principles of private rights, and in a competent tribunal possessing jurisdiction of the cause and proceeding upon justice. It is founded upon the basic principle that every man shall have his day in court, and the benefit of the general law which proceeds only upon notice and which hears and considers before judgement is rendered." "Phrase means that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, property or of any right granted him by statute, unless matter involved first shall have been adjudicated against him upon trial conducted according to established rules regulating judicial proceedings, and it forbids condemnation without a hearing." "Due Process of law implies the right of the person affected thereby to be present before the tribunal which pronounces judgement upon the question of life, liberty, or property, in its most comprehensive sense; to be heard, by testimony or otherwise, and to have the right of controverting, by proof, every material fact which bears on the question of right in the matter involved. If any question of fact or liability be conclusively presumed against him, this is not due process of law." In practice, however, Due Process of the Law in the Philippines has always been and still is among the greatest of evils. It is only serviceable for those who are filthy rich; hardly applicable for those who are filthy poor. In the meantime, in our sick society, if you steal small, you go to jail. Steal big, however, and you immediately qualify to be a candidate for the Senate. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

College-Educated Professionals in the Philippines

The Greatest of Evils

The greatest evils in this world are not only those who are the HOMELESS, but also, especially, those who are the MINDLESS and the HEARTLESS. They are the senseless products of a senseless system of education that pretty describes the senseless existence of schools, colleges, and universities; especially in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century! Take a serious look at the results of more 400 years of Catholic education in the Philippines. Look how as a people we continue to be nothing but the victims of those in the powerful minority who are selfish, greedy, stupid, and insane. Poch Suzara Twitter# facebook# Google#

The Atheists in the Philippines

An Atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An atheist believes that deed must be done instead of prayer said. An atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated. Madalyn Murray O'Hair. . . For my part, as an atheist, I have asked it before, I ask it again: WHAT THE FUCK ARE THE ATHEISTS DOING IN THE PHILIPPINES - THE ONLY GOD-FORSAKEN COUNTRY IN ASIA SINCE THE 16TH CENTURY? Churches, Cathedrals, Schools, Colleges, and Universities in the Philippines

In the Philippines, in this already 21st century, we still have churches and cathedrals that are existing in order to promote not only Catholicism, but also to help generate religious tourism. In the meantime, in reality, however, thanks to Christian values and beliefs, our churches and cathedrals, just like schools, colleges existing in the Philippines have been and still are nothing but monuments to social stupidity as generated by religious insanity.
