We Atheists Celebrate Something Greater than the Birth of Jesus

“For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible.”. . . Stuart Chase. . . We atheists are a happy people. We have less burden to carry in life. We have no need to carry silly beliefs on our backs. We have no need to be emotionally distorted, mentally twisted, or even be psychologically crippled by its weight. . . During Christmas, for example, we atheists do not celebrate the birth of Jesus. Instead, we celebrate the birth of human decency. We celebrate man's thinking capacity for ethical and moral growth and development to help spread social justice in the here and now more known as peace on earth, the beauty of love, the power of knowledge, and the joys in life in this world. Our world! . . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Trust No One, not even God

Be careful who you trust, the devil was once an angel. . . Nick Fatool . . . For my part, I trust neither the angel nor do I trust the devil. I do not even trust the creator who created the original mess to begin with.. . . In the meantime, again, I share with you the lovable words of my mentor - Bertrand Russell: . . . "The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge." . . . "What the world needs now is not only love, but also greater knowledge about the nature of love, in all of its complexity." HAPPY NEW YEAR

December 31, 2014 - - - Dear Friends: - - - At the end of each year, we all greet each other: - - - HAPPY NEW YEAR! Never, however, do we ever, greet each other with:- - - HAPPY NEW IDEAS or HAPPY NEW THOUGHTS or HAPPY NEW WAY OF LIFE VIA NEW VALUES and NEW BELIEFS! . . . Thus, every new year, it is the same old garbage around us everywhere. . . The same old garbage in government, and in churches, in other institutions, and indeed the same old garbage more referred to as education in our schools, colleges, and universities. Yearly producing the same old college-educated men and women proud of garbage as a way of life in the Philippines. . . To each of you, for the year 2015, I greet you: HAPPY NEW IMPROVEMENTS FOR OUR COUNTRY! Only with more truths and good will; no more lies and free will keeping us NONPRODUCTIVE as a people and NONCREATIVE as a nation.... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Oh God, don't you ever read your own Bible

Jesus said, For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. . . Matthew 7:8 . . ."Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.”. . . Luke 13:24 . . . "God's undying desire for you will never cease." Philippine Star, Dec. 23, 2013. . . Oh God my dear God, Don't you ever seriously read your own Holy Bible, and seriously read also the Philippine Star? huh? . . . Jesus was a NO read and NO Wrote Jew

Take a good look at our sick society... Look how as sick saints or sick sinners we all love Jesus up there while we are sick of one another down here... And to think that Jesus never went to college... He never attended high school... Golly, Jesus never even attended grade school... He was a NO read, NO write Jew... Yet, we have all been frightened to all love, worship, respect, and adore Jesus who was not even a Filipino... He was a Jew born in Israel that never even got to be converted into a Christian country with Christian values and Christian beliefs like the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century... Corrupt Hope for our Corrupt Future

"The youth is the hope of our future."... Jose Rizal. . . According to our politicians, however, is it not the youth, but corruption via education is the hope of our future... In this way, we Filipinos shall continue to keep our corrupt politicians in power to take care of our future, especially through Christ, our Lord, amen!. . . . In the meantime, other Asian Atheistic countries with better hopes for a better future have Floating Hospital, Floating Library, and floating University... In the Philippines, the only Catholic country in Asia, we have Floating Casinos... Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook#

I Quit

An atheist has the guts to tell God: Oh God, my dear God, it is silly of you to FIRE ME. Since with my free will, I already QUIT! So what now? What else have you got anything to do with me? Indeed God, instead of saving me, why don't you instead save the silly teachers who taught me to believe in a lot of spiritual garbage about you? Really God, to begin with, as you exists here, there and everywhere, and since you never, but never bothered to introduce yourself to me, why should I bother to believe and to have faith in your existence . . . Why Not Heaven on Earth

Jesus came to earth for us so we could go to heaven with Him... Philippine Start, Dec. 18, 2013 . . . Oh Jesus, my dear Jesus, why the drama? Did it ever occur to you that you could have been a real Savior had you, instead, transformed the earth into a heaven? Why should that be a difficult miracle for you since on earth you could walk on water, feed the multitude with a few loaves of bread, change water into wine, cured diseases, fly with the devil on top of a mountain, raise the dead back to life, and even washed the feet of your good for nothing apostles! They all went into hiding while you were getting crucified ignoring the truth that you possessed the power to perform miracles by un-nailing yourself out of that piece of wood more known as the cross! . . . People Laugh at Me

“No drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power.” ― Kurt Cobain For my part, people laugh at me because I am different and courageous. I laugh at people because they continue to be the same old - selfish, greedy, ignorant, fearful, stupid, and insane saps. Specially as they are the educated products of schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines. - Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Richard Burton - the Atheist

According to the Denver Post, Richard Burton wrote this in his diary in 1969: "The more I read about man and his maniacal ruthlessness and his murderous envious scatological soul, the more I realize that he will never change. Our stupidity is immortal, nothing will change it. The same mistakes, the same prejudices, the same injustice, the same lusts wheel endlessly around the parade ground of the centuries. Immutable and ineluctable. I wish I could believe in a god of some kind but I simply cannot." . . . Richard Burton, Welsh actor (1925-1984 Oh, my dear Richard Burton, you are right on target: the history of our world has never been about the struggle between GOOD against EVIL; NO, on the contrary, it has always been and still is about the history of EVIL versus EVIL and EVIL always wins! Thus, stupidity and eternity are one and the same old evil as inspired by a silly divinity always in cahoots with a silly deviltry. As soon as Atheism brings about the death of religion in all of its evil forms and evil shapes out of this world, then we should all begin to enjoy peace and harmony and tranquility, and indeed global beauty as generated by global sanity. The history of Mankind will not any more be about silly evil struggling against evil; but only about the good struggling to make better this world. Our world. The world of the here and the now. The Sources of Our Childish Beliefs and Values

“Imagine the people who believe such things and who are not ashamed to ignore, totally, all the patient findings of thinking minds through all the centuries since the Bible was written. And it is these ignorant people, the most uneducated, the most unimaginative, the most unthinking among us, who would make themselves the guides and leaders of us all; who would force their feeble and childish beliefs on us; who would invade our schools and libraries and homes. I personally resent it bitterly.” ― Isaac Asimov Oh dear Isaac, my dear Isaac Asimov, I also personally resent it bitterly. What is even more resentful, however, is the painful fact that what keeps us Filipinos mentally impoverished as a people; and, morally malnourished as a nation is due to our so-called leaders. They are the college-educated products of Catholic schools, Catholic colleges, and Catholic universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines... The Revealed LIES in the Holy Bible

2 plus 2 equals 4 is a revealed truth in the Multiplication Table. Indeed, the Multiplication Table is the perfect model of truth. It is free from dogma, hogma, and pigma. No nation has ever gone to war against another nation for not believing that 2 plus 2 equals for. I asked it before, I ask it again: - how come the theologians of this world have utterly failed to reveal the "truth" in the holy bible - a book filled with lies, deceptions, illusions, confusions, delusions, contradictions, inconsistencies, absurdities, obscenities, vulgarities, and atrocities! The multiplication table can never be successfully tampered with, the same can never be said of the Bible. The multiplication table can be universally & unequivocally comprehended: the opposite must be said about the Bible. I would like to know, why does the Holy Bible need to be interpreted by only certain "holy men" while any child can interpret, fully understand, and master the multiplication table? Indeed, Isaac Asimov settled the complicated mess with a simple truth: "Properly read the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived." Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

We are proud of our Ignorance

“We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” ― Benjamin Franklin... Tragedy of Human Life in the Philippines

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” ― Plato - In the Philippines, however, it is even more tragic: men and women with college education are so proud of their ignorance. They are selfish, greedy, mindless, and insane; but they all love Jesus and have faith in Jesus as Jesus is their Savior. . . And to think that this is the same Jesus, like a frightened child, crucified on a cross to save the world, cried out loud: MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME?" Matt. 27:46 . . . The Horrors of Christianity

"Religion is fundamentally opposed to everything I hold in veneration - courage, clear thinking, honesty, fairness, and, above all, love of the truth.". . . Henry Mencken . . . For my part, I am well aware that the main reason why we Filipinos are spiritually poor as a people, and why the Philippines is morally backward and messy as a nation, it is simply due to the horrors of religion hardly known as the horrors of Christianity. . . Winter Solstice

WINTER SOLSTICE GREETINGS IN REALITY . . . CHRISTMAS GREETINGS IN FANTASY The earth has spent more time orbiting the sun than all the religions, all superstitions, all of humanity, and even of all life itself. The Winter Solstice represents an actual astronomical event unlike superstition driven celebrations that occur only in religious imagination. The exact day of the winter solstice marks the end of autumn, just one point along the orbital path of earth. The energy of the sun and the fertile earth, along with the over 4.5 billion winter solstices that have occurred, allowed enough time for all of earth's evolution to happen (and to continue to happen). This puts the Winter Solstice in a far more humbling position than anything invented by humans. Considering that the earth also comes closest* to the sun during the winter, what better time to honor the sun than during the Winter Solstice. The festivals of the Winter Solstice celebrate the start of the new solar year and the beginning of winter. The fantasies of superstition have also used this astronomical event to celebrate Saturnalia, Yule, Christmas, and many other superstitious events. The unknown builders of Stonehenge in southern England constructed the megaliths at around 2000 B.C.E. which makes it at least twice as old as Christianity. It accurately predicts both the summer and winter solstices. In astronomy, a solstice occurs two times a year. During the Winter Solstice the sun appears at its greatest distance from the celestial equator, the great circle on the celestial sphere that occurs on the same plane as the earth's equator. In the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice occurs either December 21 or 22, when the sun shines directly over the tropic of Capricorn. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year. The sun appears at its lowest point in the sky, and its noontime elevation appears the same for several days before and after the solstice. The summer solstice occurs either June 21 or 22, when the sun shines directly over the tropic of Cancer. In the southern hemisphere, the winter and summer solstices appear reversed. It may seem contradictory that the earth comes closest to the sun during the winter and the farthest during the summer, but the seasons occur mostly because of the tilt away or toward the sun, rather than the distance from the sun. As atheists we do not celebrate the birth of Christ called Christmas. Instead, we celebrate the Winter Solstice. We do not care to celebrate man's capacity to believe; rather, we celebrate, all year round - man's great ability to think! After all, there is nothing quite like it in all of nature! . . . Where is God in the Here and Now

We were told by our teachers in grade school that we must believe in the existence of God, our creator, and because God is existing here, existing there, and existing everywhere... Ever since then I had my doubts as I began to question God's existence... And so, even as a little boy in school I was already somewhat atheistic; though I was not that articulate enough to express my real religious sentiments. I thought then as I still do think today in my old age, I'd be happy to believe in the existence of God if only He could exist not there, exist not everywhere, just exist only here and now where we could all be with Him as a God to each and every one of us with all of His power and glory as a Supreme Being... Useless Believers versus Useful Thinkers

Believing is the death of thinking. . . We all live in such a poor and backward country because Catholic schools, Catholic colleges, and Catholic universities are mostly about teaching the nation's children how to become useless believers; but not learning how to become useful thinkers. . . Thus, in this only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century, we Filipinos are only getting more famous as the employees, not employers; the consumers, not producers; the followers, not leaders, - indeed, we Filipinos are getting more famous throughout the world as the frightened Man, not the enlightened Man of Asia. Einstein, Russell, Mandela, Jose Rizal

Albert Einstein in Defense of Bertrand Russell: Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly. . . Albert Einstein Bertrand Russell in defense of men like Nelson Mandela: "No, the greatest men have not been “serene. They have had, it is true, an ultimate courage, a power of creating beauty where nature has put only horror, which may, to a petty mind, appear like serenity... But their courage has had to surpass that of common men, because they have seen deeper into the indifference of nature and the cruelty of man... To cover up these things with comfortable lies is the business of cowards; the business of great men is to see them with inflexible clarity, and yet to think and feel nobly... And in the degree in which we can all be great, this is the business of each one of us."... Bertrand Russell Nelson Mandela in Defense of great men like our Jose Rizal: "For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others."... Nelson Mandela Jose Rizal in defense of his people, the Filipino people still in search of freedom; especially, the freedom of thought: "I would like the Filipino people to become worthy, noble, and honorable. . . make study a thing of love and joy . . . the schoolroom should not be a place of sorrows but a scene of intellectual refreshment." As with me, an atheist, here's my message to all of you religious saps: Atheism is a worldwide movement today without frightened followers. We atheists are all enlightened leaders who are out to produce more leaders. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Supernatural Jerk or Divine Sap

What if, after death, in heaven, it will be the same old story as its has been temporarily on earth - except that this time, for all eternity, you will still be worshipping the same divine Sap, the same supernatural Jerk? Not once have I ever been told that I must worship the devil because the devil loves me! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Faith

Faith is the surrender of the mind; it's the surrender of reason, it's the surrender of the only thing that makes us different from other mammals. It's our need to believe, and to surrender our skepticism and our reason, our yearning to discard that and put all our trust or faith in someone or something, that is the sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith must be the most overrated. . . . Christopher Hitchens . . . Indeed, a man of faith is like Angel on these pages - a college-educated drunkard who clings to a lamppost for support, not illumination . . . Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell on the Lives of Great Men

Here's Bertrand Russell writing about lives of great men, like our own Jose Rizal of the Philippines - - - "No, the greatest men have not been “serene.” They have had, it is true, an ultimate courage, a power of creating beauty where nature has put only horror, which may, to a petty mind, appear like serenity. But their courage has had to surpass that of common men, because they have seen deeper into the indifference of nature and the cruelty of man. Free Will is a Farce, a Fraud, and a Ceremony

The God in the bible is the one with "free" will, not the creation. As the verses so clearly state, HIS plan, HIS pleasure, HIS purpose, HIS will. . . It follows that prayer is utterly a useless waste of time because when when pray, we are asking God to dump His free will in favor of our own free will. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Oh Lord, when will you ever Listen

To Believe Lyrics "To Believe" was released on 6/11/2011. It was written by EVANCHO, MATTHEW DAVID. Before I lay me down to rest I ask the Lord one small request I know I have all I could need But this prayer is not for me Too many people on this day Don't have a peaceful place to stay Let all fighting cease that your children may see peace Wipe their tears of sorrow away (chorus) To believe in a day When hunger and war will pass away To have the hope amidst despair That every sparrow's counted That you hear each cry and listen to each prayer Let me try always to believe That we can hear the hearts that grieve Please help us not ignore The anguished cries of the poor Or their pain will never leave (chorus ) To believe in a day When hunger and war will pass away To have the hope amidst despair That every sparrow's counted That you hear their cries and listen to each prayer (spoken prayer) Father, as you see, I'm just a child And there's so much to understand But if Your Grace should surround me Then I'll do the best I can I promise, I'll do the very best I can (chorus plus) To believe in a day When hunger and war will pass away To have the hope amidst despair That every sparrow's counted That you hear each cry and listen to each Prayer {Hear each cry and listen to each prayer} Help us do Your will oh Father In the name of all that's true And we'll see in one another The loving image of You Songwriters EVANCHO, MATTHEW DAVID

Public Library

When I read about the way in which library funds are being cut and cut, I can only think that American society has found one more way to destroy itself... Isaac Asimov . . . In the Philippines, there is no such thing as public library. Instead, what we have are thousands of schools, colleges, and universities owned and operated tax-free by the Catholic Church. . . In other words, we Filipinos have never found a way to recreate ourselves either as a thinking people or as a thinking nation. . . In the meantime, thanks to our Catholic system of education, we still believe and have faith that in the problems created by new knowledge, we can solve such problems not with more knowledge, but only with the same old fear of fucking with the Lord Jesus, or with the same old fucking prayers. . . Catholic Education Means FUCKING, not THINKING

Getting mentally fucked in grade school, in high school, and in college is no excuse to stay mentally fucked for the rest of your days... With me, I got myself expelled out of high school... We are made stupid by education; especially under Catholic education. . . Poch Suzara

Deceiving Others or Having Faith in God

“Deceiving others. That is what the world calls a romance.” ― Oscar Wilde . . . Deceiving others is what is more known in the Philippines as having "faith in God." The evil is what our schools, colleges, and universities are mostly about! . . . Look at the millions of Filipinos who have college degrees - they are not the enlightened masters, but the frightened victims of so-called "education." . . . Indeed, college-educated Filipinos, specially those in the government, and in the church, - have yet to play decent roles in the growth of the Filipino as a decent people; and in the development of the Philippines as a decent nation. The Fear of thought

"Poor is the pupil who does not surpass his master." Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) Italian painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, and inventor. . . In schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines, the only Catholic country in Asia, pupils are not pupils. They are frightened victims of their masters in class teaching them to always live in fear of the power of thought - the greatest of human sensibilities in any man's life. . . Education For what

Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it. . . . Marian Wright Edelman (1939-) American activist for the rights of children. In the Philippines, education is for learning how to pray to God to give us this day, our daily bread, and to lead us not into temptation; and also for learning how to pray to Mary, Mother of God, to pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen. . . Poch Suzara

Education In the Philippines

Education is the inculcation of silly doctrines into the malleable minds of children by the frightened faithfools on earth down here; especially for the greater glory of Jesus in heaven up there. In the Philippines, more known as the Catholic system of education - the frightened faithfools are known as teachers in school and professors in college. . . Sadly, what is mostly taught to students is not how to think, but only what to believe . . . As a high school expelled student, I said it before, I say it again: education is not a matter of revelation; it is more about the human mind and heart growing and developing for the sake of intellectual revolution as generated by thoughtful evolution. . . Both Divinity and Deviltry Destroyed

As soon as God, a supernatural being, destroys the devil; and, as soon as the devil, also a supernatural being destroys God - in fact, as soon as both God and the devil get rid of each each - the sooner also I will stop being an atheist. . . . Poor People in Atheist countries

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. . . Matt. 7:7-8 . . . It is glaringly obvious, if not alarmingly translucent that there are poor people in atheist countries because they do not ASK, SEEK, or KNOCK; in fact, they never bother God who will provide for them by simply asking, seeking, and knocking as the bible says. . . In the Philippines, the only catholic country in Asia, millions upon millions of Filipinos since the 16th century have prayed daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, to God in order to provide for them with daily bread and to lead them not into temptation. So how come 80 per cent of the population of the Philippines are still stuck not in prosperity, but in poverty? . . . Poch Suzara

The Triumph of Evil

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”. . . Edmund Burke . . . Oh my dear Edmund Burke, for my part, as a good man myself, I am getting sick and tired of doing something against triumph of evil as it is always triumphant. Look at the history of our world. It has never been about good versus evil. It has always been about evil versus evil and evil has always ended up triumphant in the long run. . . We are damned if we do something about it. We are damned if we do nothing about it. . . And to think that we are all taught to believe that God gifted man with a free will because he loves us! In the ultimate analysis, I think for good to triumph is for good men to always be on the side of humanity, and no longer waste time and energy and money always taking the side of a silly divinity. Oh, My dear Vincent Van Gogh

"I feel a certain calm. There is safety in the midst of danger. What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?". . . Vincent Van Gogh . . . Oh, my dear Vincent Van Gogh, in the Philippines, as products of Catholic schools, colleges, and universities, we Filipinos have no courage to attempt at anything; especially anything for the decent growth and decent development of our country. This is simply because we all have been taught to believe and to have faith in God who will always provide for us, if not in this world, in the next world to come after death in the kingdom of God... In the meantime, we are also taught to believe and to have faith in the Son of God Jesus. He will soon be returning to earth, especially returning to the Philippines to remedy the historical ills of our sick society. . . Poch Suzara

No Need to Save the world. Let's Just Try to Reform it.

"Don't ask so much what the world needs. Go out and do what makes you come alive, because what the world needs most is people who have come alive." So, yes, the world needs saving but it's not on your shoulders. Rather, it's in your heart. There is no sacrifice needed. We each save the world every time we act from a place of love, joy and freedom. When we act from that place, we treat the world and all its inhabitants in ways that will save it." . . . Howard Thurman . . . "The desire to understand the world and the desire to reform it are the two great engines of progress, without which human society would stand still and retrogress." . . . Bertrand Russell . . . For my part, as an atheist and a humanist, I do give hoot for my eternal salvation. I care more about being unselfish as I am more interested to try and leave this world one day a better place like under a more refined kind of human civilization. . . Indeed, old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle for human decency to enjoy not illusion, delusion, and confusion; but to enjoy only wealth, health and sanitation; and also, especially, illumination!... The Horrors of Education in school

Education is one of the chief obstacles to intelligence and freedom of thought. Indeed, we are born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education... Bertrand Russell Colleges are places where pebbles are polished and diamonds are dimmed. . . Robert Ingersoll "Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.". . . Isaac Asimov For my part, I was expelled out of La Salle high school. I did not care to learn how to be a frightened believer. I wanted to learn how to be an enlightened free thinker. . . Indeed, I said it before, I say it again: free the child's intellectual potentials and he will transform even the concept of freedom itself in this world in great need of the freedom to question everything; and, at the same time, to believe in nothing. . . Pleasure and Pain

Shouldn't the atheist have an equal obligation in a world of randomness. Where does pleasure come from? G. K. Chesterton?. . . When pain is over, the remembrance of it often becomes a pleasure. Jane Austen . . . The unexamined life is not worth living for man. Socrates . . . The greatest of pleasure of the joy of creative thought... Happiness differs from pleasure in the sense that pleasure comes from what is outside the self... Happiness comes from what is inside the self... Thus, I have little desire to know where pleasure comes from. I am already mentally preoccupied enjoying happiness as I endlessly continue to happily examine my own life and those of others! Happy thanksgiving Day

Americans, with the power of prayer, have God to celebrate THANKSGIVING DAY for the conquest of the Continent away from the Indians. The Indians, with the power of prayer also, have God to celebrate THANKSGIVING DAY for the conquest of Alcatraz Island away from the Americans. After many Indians and many Americans have killed each other in order to carry out God's divine plan - to establish what is known as the United States of America - the Land of the free, and the Home of the brave - I say: such is the power of prayer behind the power of God. HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY! . . . We are told that - "The more you recognize and express gratitude for the things you have, the more things you will have to express gratitude for.". . . well, this is precisely what the rich Americans have been grateful about for more than 200 years. The poor Indians have nothing to be grateful about; except that, happily, the poor Indians have the last laugh at the American state of affairs today . . . It is now obvious that it is by acquiring more and more things that have prevented millions of Americans from living sanely, freely, meaningfully, and nobly. Poch Suzara

Behind Every Fortune is a Crime In the Philippines

Behind every fortune made in the Philippines is not only a crime; there is also a woman's behind... Of course we do not refer to these filthy rich saps as "criminals... We give more sophisticated titles. We call them bishop, congressman, senator, mayor, justices of the supreme court, Chairman of the Board, bankers, doctor, commissioner, "darling," "sweetheart." ... The horror is all so true. However, let us not forget what is also true: Behind the Filipino historical sufferings from endless poverty comes from the insanity in having too much useless faith in a heavenly divinity that made us, as the Sick Man of Asa, believe that poverty will eventually subside for as long as we continue to have faith in God who will provide. In the meantime, I asked it before, I ask it again: have any of you college-educated jerks ever heard of a Filipino who got to be FILTHY RICH for believing that God is BAD? So how come millions of Filipinos are FILTHY POOR for believing that God is GOOD? . . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Happy People Helping Unhappy People

In a destructive typhoon, like the recent monster "Yolanda typhoon" in the Philippines - a great many happy people living in happy foreign countries gave so much needed help for those millions of unhappy Filipinos who survived the death and destruction around them. I ask: how come happy souls in heaven never give a hoot to unhappy souls on earth; especially as happy souls in heaven already have the endless resources from a happy God to inspire happy souls to help unhappy souls on earth, especially the unhappy Catholic souls in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century? In the meantime, as an atheist, I don't believe in the existence of hell; but if I ever do believe it, I believe it to be a place filled with souls of teachers in Catholic schools, professors in Catholic universities, and Catholic politicians in our government; and of course in hell are the corrupt souls of the corrupt Catholic bishops historically keeping the Filipinos poor and corrupt as a Catholic people, and the Philippines backward and corrupt as a Catholic nation. Churches, Cathedrals, Schools, Colleges, and Universities in the Philippines

It is sad, indeed, centuries ago, we Filipinos enjoyed a system of "indoctrination" under the existence of churches and cathedrals - the monuments to fear and ignorance in the Philippines. In this already 21st century, however, we Filipinos now enjoy even more a system of "education" under the existence of schools, colleges, and universities - own and managed by the same owners of churches and cathedrals that have been crumbling as such monuments are getting more and more obsolete with each passing year! In the meantime, the one and only thing precious with millions upon millions of us Filipinos popular as the Sick Man of Asia is neither indoctrination nor education. It is to be with Jesus in heaven after death rewarded with eternal salvation. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Christianity is but a Grand Illusion

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. . . C. S. Lewis . . . Oh my dear C. S. Lewis, you poor blind sap. The sun rising is but an illusion. The sun setting is yet another illusion. It is the earth that rotates on its own axis daily and orbits round the sun yearly. The MAJORITY see the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening as something TRUE and yet, it is exactly like seeing Christianity as it really is - nothing but a grand illusion. . . In the meantime, "Belief," wrote Robert Anton Wilson, "is the death of Intelligence. As soon as one believes as a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence." With Filipinos in the Philippines, however, specially millions of college educated Filipinos, belief is not the death of intelligence; it is more referred to as having faith in God; specially faith in the Son of God Jesus - our Savior as a sick people; and, indeed, our Redeemer as a sick nation! . .. The Dreamer versus the Stupid Believer

If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you like a damned fool to help build there dreams... Similarly, If you don't learn to be a thinker, others will only convert you to be a stupid follower as they are the stupid believers more known as "leaders." Poch Suzara

The 7 Deadly Sins

The 7 Deadly Sins of the Bible Pride is an excessive belief in one's own abilities. Envy is wanting what others have, be it status, abilities, or possessions. Gluttony is the desire to eat or consume more than you require. Lust is a powerful craving for such as sex, power and money. Anger is the loss of rational self-control and the desire to harm others. Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain. Sloth is laziness and the avoidance of work. To me, in my simplicity, there should an 8th sin- the deadliest of sins: to be a sick man of faith - specially the one who is a drunkard who clings to a lamppost for support, not illumination! Education and Isaac Asimov

I personally resent it bitterly." . . . Isaac Asimov Oh, my dear Isaac Asimov, if only you were a teacher of mine in La Salle grade and high school, never would I have ever proudly engineered my own expulsion. Indeed, I purposely left school. It was in the business of distorting human minds with beliefs and twisting human hearts with faith down here; especially for the glory of Jesus in heaven up there! . . . Poch Suzara

Christianity - the Most Destructive of Evil Forces

Christianity always had a vested interest in poverty, pain, suffering, misery, and depravity. Christianity has been and still is the most destructive evil force in the Philippines. Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - Christianity destroys the minds and hearts of millions of Filipino children in school. To become not well-informed citizens of our country, but only to embrace a lifetime of faith in a silly divinity existing eternally in partnership with a silly deviltry. Destructive typhoon, like "Yolanda" is a child's play compared to the death and destructive force caused by the historical teachings of Christianity: We must love only Jesus up there by hating each other in our own country down here. That we should have no country to love after birth; only to believe and to have faith in a better world to come with Jesus in the next life after death! Otherwise, if we do not believe, if we do not have faith in Jesus - we shall burn forever in hell as punishment for our disobedience!

I said it before, I say it again: I love all the great men and great women of history. Most of all, despite its horrors and terrors, I love this world. And I am most happy and proud that I was born in this world especially as this is the only world I know and will ever know. Soon I shall be dead; and, as a dying atheist, I can assure you, my dear reader, that I shall die enlightened; and not frightened of the lies, deceptions, illusions, and delusions behind religion! Oh Yes, soon, I shall be leaving this world. I have no worries about life after death as I am aware that if there is life after death I shall be existing as a nothing. Just like before my birth, for billions of years, I was existing as a nothing. So really, I ask: what is there to be bothered about death? Whether we like it or not, we shall all have to face death sooner or later. Indeed, to face once again what we were before birth - existing as a nothing. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# google#

Albert Einstein on Education

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." Albert Einstein. . . Oh, my dear Albert Einstein, in the Philippines, this has never been a problem. Never, should we ever forget what we have learned via education in schools, colleges, and universities: how to love God in heaven up there by hating each other in our own country down here! . . . It is otherwise more known as our Christian values and traditional beliefs. . . Poch Suzara

Faith Against Thought

Isn't it enough to see a garden that is beautiful without having to believe that there are silly gardeners of God at the bottom of it keeping it that way? . . . Well, isn't enough to appreciate the beauty of thought without having to believe that it is inspired by the existence of the silly devil? . . . Indeed, the thought that provokes thought is much more precious than the thought that is merely the silly reflection of stupid faith. . . After all, a man of faith is like a drunkard who clings to a lamppost for support; not illumination. . . In the meantime, the bible says: "without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. . . Hebrews 11:6. . . Excuse me, but in La Salle grade school, we were taught to believe that God exists here, exists there, and exists everywhere. Why then should I seek God who is already existing above me, below me, in front of me, and in the back of me, indeed, already existing around me? In the meantime, like damned faithfools, must we admire the blind theologian who says that one day, he was looking for a black cat that was not existing inside a dark room but found it? Poch Suzara
