Christians at Peace with One Another - WOW - no kidding!!!

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matt. 10: 34-37
In the meantime, I asked it before, I ask it again: As we are the only Christian country in Asia, just exactly how do we Filipinos as Christians live in peace with one another? Specially those corrupt in the government - not one of them is an ATHEIST, but all of them are faithful to Jesus - the SAVIOR of the Filipinos and the SAVIOR of the Philippines! Poch, Jesus says, “You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God." The context of Matthew 10 is the inevitable persecution of the followers of Christ. They will be disowned, cursed, despised, persecuted, and in some cases even executed by their kin because they would not renounce their loyalty to Christ. Just ask William Murray O'Hair. It was not he who waged war against his atheist mother. He was disowned by Madalyn for becoming a Christian. Learning of his conversion in 1980, Madalyn in so many words said that she wished she had him aborted. She even said something about post-natal abortion, a la Peter Singer.
