Thomas Jefferson and the Evils of Christianity

Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity. -Thomas Jefferson. --- For my part, I say, millions of Filipino men, women, and children, since the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines during the 16th century - have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned, used as cheap labor, educated to love and respect only Jesus as the Savior of the world, yet we are only getting more famous as the SICK MAN OF ASIA as we are also advancing more towards historical insanity! Look at us Filipinos in this only Catholic country in Asia - look how we all love Jesus up there by hating one another down here! Even our corrupt government officials all love Jesus, specially has the power to forgive their sins, and their crimes. - Poch Suzara

Poch, aren't you exaggerating too much? The actual number of people executed in the Spanish Inquisition was not a hundred thousand, but closer to 3,000. And many of the victims were Reformers or Protestants; those who left Rome and embraced Christ as offered in the gospel. They were deemed heretics by your former church. Nevertheless, the Inquisition tortures and death, even if it pales in comparison to the atheistic communist pogroms, were inexcusable.
