Adam and Eve Were no ATHEISTS

Let's take a closer look at Adam and Eve - they were NO atheists. They believed, loved, and venerated God. But look how they both ended up damned and damned good. God even inspired the Talking Serpent to get them both to be guilty of the Original Sin! As if Adam and Eve ever originated anything in this world to begin with! In the meantime, my dear reader, haven't you as yet noticed the frightened dumbstruck maka-dios government officials as leaders of our sick country. They never stop to declare that God should not be blamed for all that is wrong in our country. It is our fault. Indeed, I agree. It is not only our fault, it is also our fear and ignorance specially in our failure to ask: GOD, WHAT ARE YOU A GOD FOR? Specially a GOD for the HERE AND NOW? And not a GOD for that by and by bullshit pie-in-the-sky later on? Poch Suzara

The Filipino - Poorest people in Asia

According to a UN-Habitat report, over 20 million Filipinos in the Philippines live in slums, and in Metro Manila alone. There are more than 800,000 Pinays working as prostitutes in Metro Manila. Many of them are underage. In the meantime, because we have no national health care system an average of 52 Pinays die every 24 hours from pregnancy-related causes. According to the Asian Development Bank, over 25 million Filipinos don’t have access to the basic sanitation afforded by toilet facilities; another 13 million don’t have proper water resources - without plumbing or communal water taps, many rely on creek water and deep wells which can often be unsafe for human consumption. Poverty cannot be measured in pesos and centavos alone. Poverty must be viewed from a larger, deeper, if not a wider perspective: social, political, spiritual, cultural, educational, environmental; and indeed, poverty in science and technology. We are, indeed, the poorest people in Asia. Consider: We are rudderless as people; directionless as a nation. We have no love for our country. None are rich in spirit. We have no respect for law and order. We have no sense of the future of our nation's children. In brief, we have nothing great going on for us Filipinos - except God, and his Son Jesus; Mary, the Mother of God; and of course the Pope who is not even a Filipino. Surely, millions of Filipinos feel God has blessed them. In fact, we are taught in schools, colleges, and universities to always believe what Jesus declared: "BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE POOR IN SPIRIT, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN." In the ultimate analysis, millions of us filipino share something great in common together: For the love of Jesus up there, we are all poor in spirit down here! Love and Sex and Books

A man gives love in order to get sex. A woman gives sex in order to get love. Trouble begins when the woman needs not more thinking, exploring, learning, discovering, questioning, and reading; but needs only more loving, more praying, more financing, and indeed, more fucking. Each time I had that kind of a silly relationship with a tootie-frootie, I went back home to be with my one and only real love in this world: love of books! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Who Gives a Hoot about our Scientists and Technologists

Sept.27, 2-12 Philippine Daily Inquirer Letter to the Editors Dear Sir: In our sick society, in order to maintain ourselves famous worldwide as the Sick Man of Asia - we are far more fascinated with the works of our manicurists, pedicurists, hair-stylists, florists, and indeed, the catechists and the exorcists. We couldn't give a hoot about the works of Filipino scientists and technologists to rescue our sick country out of its poverty, religious misery, political stupidity, and social insanity! And to think that as the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century, in this already 21st century - we still faithfully believe that God has always blessed our poor and backward country! Sincerely, Poch Suzara

Rotten Truth Revealed in the Bible

Listen to this rotten truth revealed by GOD, THE FATHER: I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. Isaiah 45:7 Listen to this rotten truth revealed by JESUS, THE SON GOD: “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matt 10:34-37 Listen to this rotten truth revealed by the Holy Spirit of the Holy Trinity: "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Matt 12:31 I asked it before, I ask it again: My dear reader, do you now understand why as the only Christian country in Asia, we Filipinos are the only ones who are spiritually twisted as a people and morally distorted as a nation? To begin with, millions of us do not bother to read the bible. When, however, we do read it, and do not understand its rotten verses - we have been frightened to believe that such rotten verses are really morsels of divine wisdom! In the meantime, schools, colleges, and universities teach millions upon millions of Filipinos to defend and protect the Philippines not that she is a free and independent as a Republic, but that she is, more than anything else, historically, a Catholic country. For my part, as one born in the Philippines some 79 years ago, for love of my country, I would rather be atheistic. I do not care to be a Catholic. I have no taste for anything satanic, nor do I care to swallow anything theocratic! Poch Suzara

A man of Reason versus a Man of Faith

A man of reason is a sober, intelligent man who has neither the taste for lies nor the gumption for deception. A man of faith, however, is like a drunkard dummy who clings to a lamppost for support, not illumination! Poch Suzara

Ye, Escape the Damnation of Hell for Jesus

Jesus, in the bible, shouts: "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell!" Matthew 23:33 If Jesus were alive today in the Philippines, he would shout at the same: Ye Catholic Bishops, Ye Bro. Eli Soriano of Dating Daan, Ye Bro. Mike Velarde of El Shaddai, Ye Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Jesus is Lord Movement, Ye Bro. Eduardo Manalo of Iglesia Ni Cristo, Ye Brothers of the United Church of Christ, Ye preachers of the 700 Club Prayer Center, and Ye, you owners of La Salle, Ateneo, San Beda, UST, Assumption college, AIM, Letran, Miriam college, and University of the Philippines - how can ye all escape the DAMNATION OF HELL! Oh yes, ye sinners and criminals and thieves, you should all listen to yourselves on TV daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - hurling HATE at against each other down here for the glory of Jesus up there! While millions of Filipinos remain NOT as the rich and brightened masters, but as the poor and frightened victims of Christianity in the Philippines since the 16th century. Indeed, for Christ's sake, millions of us Filipinos continue to be the victims of poverty of the worst kind: the poverty of the mind and heart - preventing us, historically, to live the good life in our own country - one inspired by the power of love and guided by the power of knowledge! My Job as a Senior Citizen

My letter published today in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Sept. 24, 2012: In human affairs, there are forces making for happiness, and forces making for misery. We do not know which will prevail, but to act wisely, we must be aware of both. - Bertrand Russell For my part, as a senior citizen, (75 years) I say old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle against lies and deceptions that keep us Filipinos spiritually poor as a people, and that keep the Philippines morally bankrupt as a nation. - Poch Suzara

Jesus Never Even Attended Grade School

Wow Bob Gabuna & Wow Tony Villan, I cut and paste from the works of great philosophers, scientists, leaders, and writers, not to mention books written by historians, anthropologists, sociologists, astronomers, biologists, psychiatrists, paleontologists, and physicists including famous mathematicians and logicians. In the meantime, you both just do nothing but parrot over and over again the words of a Jewish fellow who never even attended grade school - known as Jesus Christ. God, his silly Father, declared: "FOR IT IS WRITTEN, I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND WILL BRING TO NOTHING THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRUDENT." 1 Cor.1:19. Hijo de su puta madre, conio! COME ON YOU GUYS, stop fucking around. INSTEAD, DO SOME THINKING - there is nothing quite like it in all of nature! Also, on these pages, I have already published my exact home address and have already invited you to visit me and my personal library. So please stop hiding and show yourselves. Show me not only your BALLS but also you BRAINS! Nakakahiya kayo mga ULOL! It is stupid religious jerks like you that keep the Filipino spiritually fucked as a people and keep the Philippines morally fucked as a nation! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU COLLEGE-EDUCATED MORONS! Poch Suzara

The Concept of God is Unknowable

The belief that god is basically unknowable is the most important epistemological element of theistic belief. It is shared by all theists to some extent, who disagree only with regard to what degree, if any, god's nature can be known. We must remember that theism maintains not just that god's nature is unknown to man at the present time, but that god's nature is unknowable in principle. Man will never understand god, which is expressed by such terms as ineffable, inexpressible, transcendent, unfathomable, and indeed, incomprehensible. The most extreme version of this belief is religious agnosticism, which holds that the nature of god is completely unknowable... First, we must ask: If god cannot be known, how can god be known to exist? Quoting Nathaniel Branden, "To claim that a thing is unknowable, one must first know that it exists--but assert the existence of the unknowable is to claim knowledge of the unknowable, in which case it cannot be unknowable." Second, if god cannot be comprehended, then none of his attributes can be known--including the attribute of incomprehensibility. To state that something is by nature unknowable is to pronounce knowledge of its nature, in which case we are again involved in a contradiction. When one claims that something is unknowable, CAN ONE PRODUCE KNOWLEDGE IN SUPPORT OF THIS CLAIM? If one cannot, one's assertion is arbitrary and utterly without merit. If one can, one has accomplished the impossible: one has knowledge of the unknowable... To claim that god is incomprehensible is to say that one's concept of god is unintelligible, which is to confess that one does not know what one is talking about. The theist who is called upon to explain the content of his belief--and who then introduces the "unknowable" as a supposed characteristic of the concept itself--is saying, in effect: "I will explain the concept of god by pointing out that it cannot be explained." Atheists have long contended that the concept of god is unintelligible, this being a major reason why it cannot be accepted by any rational man. The theist who openly admits this cannot expect to be taken seriously. The idea of the unknowable is an insult to human intelligence, and it renders the beliefs of a theist not worth believing. Now let us assume that God became Jesus as Jesus is God. So how come Jesus never bothered to explain for the sake of human decency - the clarity of extraterrestrial complexity into intellectual simplicity to render complete understanding of the complexity for the whole of the humanity to grasp the reality of divinity, globally? WHO OR WHAT IS GOD

Atheists: If You're Looking For A Miracle To Prove God Exists, How Do You Explain This? (published in GOOGLE) Scientists at NASA were plotting the positions of the Sun, Moon, and other planets 100 years from now, and 1,000 years from now, in order to calculate spacecraft trajectories. As the sophisticated government computers worked with the data fed into them, they suddenly and unexpectedly came to a grinding halt. Service technicians were called in, but were unable to find anything mechanically wrong. The computers, so the story goes, had discovered a day missing in time. No one knew why the computers were acting the way they were, or how to fix them. However, one scientist on the team had gone to Sunday school when he was a child, and, from the teaching he had received there, he recalled a story from the Old Testament in which God had made the Sun stand still for a day, or thereabouts. The other NASA engineers — profound disbelievers in God and His Word — ridiculed him for even suggesting that such “information” might provide a solution to their problem. However, the scientist turned to Joshua 10, and read the story. The engineers then reworked the data being fed into the computers, adding in the “lost day” of Joshua, and the computers whirred along perfectly — almost. The computers stopped again because they had not discovered a whole day; something was still missing. Apparently (so the story goes) the computers found only 23 hours and 20 minutes. In other words, 40 minutes were still missing. But, the scientist who had suggested that they look in the Bible for the answer in the first place once again suggested what might be the answer to this conundrum. He remembered something else he had been taught. In II Kings 20, the biblical record says that King Hezekiah, upon being promised a cure from his illness and thus a longer life, had requested a sign from God. The text indicates that God made the Sun move backwards ten degrees. Ten degrees, said the scientist, would be exactly 40 minutes! And that provided the entire 24-hour day the computers needed. The Bible had the answer all along! Note: NOW WHAT WE ATHEISTS NEED TO KNOW IS WHETHER GOD IS A CATHOLIC, A JEW, OR A MUSLIM, A MUGGLETONIAN, OR WHO KNOWS MAY BE GOD IS A POCHOLOGIAN? Poch Suzara

My Dear Jaime Calero

Jaime Calero, c/o De La Salle University Taft Ave., Manila Dear Mr. Jaime Calero, A history of culture, conceived in its widest sense, includes religion, politics, art, philosophy, science and technology. Ours is a failed culture because we have far more politics always in cahoots with religion together as a people than we do have art, philosophy, science, and technology as a nation. If this history of culture were too complicated for you to grasp, please allow me, as a high-school expelled student, to simplify the academic complexity for you: A nation that produces 3 babies every minute of the day and night or 1.5 million babies yearly is a nation that enjoys the culture of FUCKING, not the culture of THINKING. Ours, indeed, is a mindless culture. Protected and defended by the Thoughtless. We have no hope in science; especially as it is about the perfection of humanity. We only have faith in religion - the belief that rather than work for perfection we must only seek in this world obliteration via mutilation, if not by self-destruction. What is cultural in our country is not about the growth or development of the Philippines as a decent nation. What is cultural is the code of sexual behavior that would guarantee precisely the survival of Christianity in our country. The Christian priesthood industry left no stone unturned in their determination to convert the Pinay's female uterus into a baby factory to produce on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis - Christian babies. JAIME, I asked it before, I ask it again: how can we be a nation of readers, writers, reporters, explorers, researchers, discoverers, manufacturers, traders, importers, exporters, managers, workers, farmers, growers, planters, poultry-raisers, painters, carpenters, welders, plumbers, domestic-helpers, TV producers, movie directors, forest-rangers, law-enforcers, judges and lawyers, professors, and teachers - since, to begin with, in our schools, colleges, and universities - we are educated first and foremost to rely and to believe only on the power of stupid prayers? In the meantime, churches and cathedrals, shrines and crucifixes, and indeed, revealed truths in the holy bible that have yet to be revealed have all played crucial roles in molding the Filipino minds and hearts to be famous as the Sick Man of Asia. Jaime, for my part, as an atheist and a student of books since I was 14 years old, I have learned to live a life without fear of this or fear of that. In fact, I thank God that I have learned to become an atheist. After all, God himself is an atheist. God has no religion. God does not lead himself into temptation; nor does He pray to Mary, His mother, to always pray for Him. Cheers! Poch Suzara San Lorenzo Village, Makati city, Philippines

Please - Let us be Honest with Ourselves

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: The fact is, a lot of you, are bothered and indeed shocked not because of my vulgar language or profanity, or blasphemy - but because I have been exposing in this venue TRUTHS that a lot of you could not believe are revealed as the Revealed Truth in the bible. So much so that you deny them or just mindlessly accuse me of not knowing how to read the bible under proper spiritual guidance by the holy spirit. My dear poor saps and jerks, more people have been killed in the name of Jesus Christ than any other name in the history of our world. Catholics and Protestants in the name of Jesus have been vilifying, attacking, torturing, bombing, and killing each other in Northern Ireland since the 14th century. Adolf Hitler killed more than 6 million Jews. In his famous book - MEIN KAMPF, he admitted: "I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty creator; by defending myself against the Jews, I am fighting for the Lord. . . I would like to thank providence and the almighty for choosing me of all people." "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so." "The LORD ѕаw hоw great man’s wickedness on the earth hаd become, аnd that everу inclination of thе thoughts оf his heart wаs onlу evil all the time.” Gen.6:5. In the meantime, it is utterly ridiculous for the Lord to have dismissed his own claim - He created man in his own image and likeness. I urge you all to seriously look around you and see millions of Filipinos, disciples of Jesus, how they have and still do substantiate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly these words uttered by Jesus: "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26 As if those sacred words uttered by Jesus were not enough to make us famous as the Sick Man of Asia, here is more from Jesus, the beloved Savior of the Philippines: "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." A lot of you people in this forum have already heard this from me, but again, I ask: Have any of you ever heard of a Filipino who got to be FILTHY RICH for believing that Jesus is BAD? So how come millions upon millions of Filipinos are FILTHY POOR and yet they all believe and have faith that Jesus is GOOD! Meanwhile, the rich Vatican Catholic bank is getting richer, in fact richer and far more powerful than the United States Federal Reserve Bank. I am, indeed, an atheist, and I challenge you - to please be honest with me as we should be honest towards each other! I may have my faults, but have I ever lied to any of you? Or worst - have I ever told any of you to hate your father and mother, hate your brothers and sisters, hate your sons and daughters, and yea, to hate even your own life as Jesus, in the bible, said you should hate in order to be his disciples and followers? Best wishes to all of you, Poch Suzara

Freedom Fighter and a Lover of Truth

Friends and relatives wonder why I am, as ever, still hostile against organized religion. Well, I am not friendly to disorganized religion either. As a lover of truth and a freedom fighter, I am against all forms of lies and deceptions - indeed -falsehoods known as God, angels, devils, heaven or hell or purgatory - the big business of organized superstition. Such evils have always been historically powerful, influential, tax-exempt, and traditional in passing on to innocent Filipino children too young to defend themselves in schools, colleges, and universities. Well, I am a senior citizen; but I still say, old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle away from silly biblical revelation. It is time to be involved with intelligent evolution. Indeed, human life on this earth should only be about the struggle for mankind to establish human decency locally and to enjoy terrestrial sanity globally. Indeed, to put away all that silly infantile business of divinity in cahoots forever with deviltry that promote nothing on this earth nothing but faith in human stupidity, endlessly. No doubt, it is a waste of time. I admit it is an impossible dream. But my dear reader, what about you - how do you waste your precious time? You are accomplishing WHAT in this God-forsaken world of ours? Brief, short, and fleeting as life is on this earth! Instead of looking forward to a better life to come after death, it makes more sense to try and leave this world a better place than how we found it. Not in the material, but in the humanitarian sense. Otherwise, there will be no reason for our having lived. In the meantime, today may be the last day of my life. Whatever or however the case may be, I am, as always, still happy singing loud and clear - my favorite song: "For, what is a man, what has he got, if not himself then he has not, to say the things he truly feels, and not the words of one who knees, the record shows I took the blows, and did it MY WAY! It is, in this way, under down-to-earth inspiration that I continue to be a man of courage, vision, ambition, and revolution. Soon I will be dead, but that should be no reason for me to kneel down like a frightened moron down here to a silly God out there. I have more than enough reason to carry on my lifetime struggle against the evils of indoctrination, nay, biblical revelation that have made us directionless as a people and rudderless as a nation! I said it before, I say it again: it is time to recapture the most priceless treasure stolen away from us by schools, colleges, and universities - our most precious minds and precious hearts without which we could never learn to be the precious citizens of our own precious country. Paradise Located in the Philippines

Millions of Filipinos do not know that paradise is located right here in Philippines. In fact, a thief was crucified with Jesus on the cross and Jesus said to him: "Today you will be with me in Paradise."Oh yes, the thief in paradise with Jesus decided to run for congress and won! Look at Jesus in our sick society - Jesus is still deeply loved and highly respected with much gratitude on top of our corrupt politicians ready and willing to forgive all kinds of sins and crimes by our sick politicians except the sin of unbelief! On the Books Written By Bertrand Russell

"A stupid man's report of what a clever man says is never accurate because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand." Great Minds and Great Hearts

It is a sad state of affairs: only a great mind can duly recognize and fully acknowledge the existence of another great mind. What is even more pathetic, however, is our schools, colleges, and universities: they have been and still are in the Catholic business of producing little minds and little hearts to keep us little as a people and therefore little as a nation; especially for the greater glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven. ATHEISM

"Everyone starts out being an atheist. No one is born with belief in anything. Infants are atheists until they are indoctrinated." - Andy Rooney Conscience is no inner voice from God. Conscience is merely the combined product of evolution and education. If one were to follow one’s conscience rather than reason, what follows is not only confusion, but also delusion. Atheism is the world of reason, reality, and freedom. Atheism is human concern, and intellectual honesty to a degree that the religious mind cannot begin to understand. And yet it is much more. Atheism is not an old religion, it is not a new and upcoming religious organization; it is not, in fact, and never has been, a religion at all. The definition of Atheism is magnificent in its simplicity: Atheism is merely the bed-rock of sanity in a world victimized by insanity. Atheism rises above divinity. It is on top of humanity. There are no 'chosen people' in the Atheist philosophy. There are no bended knees in Atheism; No frightened followers; no supplications, no prayers; no doctrines; No sacrificial redemption, no eternal promises; No 'divine' revelations, no sacred writings; No washing in the blood of the lamb; No crusades, no massacres, no holy wars; No inquisition; no dogma, hogma, or pigma. No heaven, no hell, no purgatory, no limbo; No silly rewards, no vindictive punishments; No Christ, and no saviors; no I am who am; No burning bush, no talking donkey; No devils, no ghosts and no gods; No fear of silly divinity, only the courage to work for the good of humanity and to struggle only for the spread of human decency. YES, I AM AN ATHEIST AND PROUD TO BE ONE. I WAS BORN AN ATHEIST AND I SHALL DIE AS AN ATHEIST. There are no other options. No other choices. It is impossible to believe in God while coming out of mother’s womb. It is equally impossible to believe in God while is going out and leaving this world dead and gone. In the meantime, I am most proud and happy to publicly admit that I am a part of Atheism - a worldwide movement today with no followers. Indeed, we atheists we all leaders - especially of our own destiny. Poch Suzara

Open Letter to the Catholic Bishops on House Bill 4244

September 1, 2012 Open Letter to Rev. Gabriel V. Reyes, D.D. Chairman, Episcopal Commission On family and Life Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines My dear Rev. Gabriel V. Reyes, It is incredible how you and the rest of you Catholic Bishops are against the passage of the House Bill 4244 (Reproductive Health Bill). Such a Bill could greatly help promote daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly the practice of family planning and Birth control measures among the 100 million Filipinos now populating the Philippines. Hopefully to reduce considerably the 3 babies born every minute or 1.8 million babies born yearly and indeed, needlessly in our poor and backward country. My dear Catholic Bishops, why can't we Filipinos imitate God? God himself practiced family planning and birth control measures. With the Virgin Mary, He had begotten only one Son, didn't He? Yours Sincerely, Poch Suzara San Lorenzo Village, Makati City

After My Death in the Afterlife, If any

After my death, if there were life after death, I would like to be with just two groups of loved-ones. The first group, I would like to see and be with are my great grandparents, grandparents, my parents, sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. The friends I grew up with. The hard working people who worked at our homes as maids, cooks, chauffers, gardeners, plumbers, carpenters - really all great and wonderful people. They looked at me not as their employer, but simply as a decent human being to them. As for my teachers in La Salle grade school and high school - who only taught me how to pray to St. John Baptist De la Salle and to keep Jesus in our hearts forever - I hope to see all of them still mentally dead as ever. I would also like to be with the women (187 of them) that I have had relationships with. Indeed, relationship not because of money, but simply because of the taste of honey. Ours were great moments together on this earth. The second group of people I would like to meet and shake hands and intellectually listen to, and have discussions with, - are the men and women I deeply loved and highly respected: Jose Rizal, Bertrand Russell, Carl Sagan, Will Durant, Voltaire, Nietzsche, George Bernard Shaw, Tom Paine, Robert G. Ingersoll, Walt Whitman, H.L. Mencken, Jean Meslier, John Shelby Spong, Madlyn O’Hair Murray, Ruth Benedict, Hypatia, Ian Rand, Fidel Castro, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Stephen Hawking, George H. Smith, Alvin Toffler, Socrates, Plato, Epicurus, Euripides. I have neither the hope nor the wish to meet sick characters who never existed but have nevertheless have had sick influences over our sick world. I mean I do not care to meet Superman, Batman and Robin, Spider Man, Mickey Mouse, Popeye, Bugs Bunny, Mutt and Jeff, Lulu, Dick Tracy, James Bond, Moses, Noah, Joshua, Jesus and his apostles, Mary, Joseph, the holy spirit, the holy Ghost, Satan, angels of God, and the rest of the holy bible forces of evil characters who religiously fucked us Filipinos as a people and who criminally fucked our Philippines as a nation. Indeed, our history as a people has never been about the fight of good versus evil. It has always been about the fight of evil against evil and evil always won. In this day and age, criminals continue to dominate us as a people and criminals continue to rule our Philippines as a nation! And via schools, colleges, and universities - we Filipinos have been frightened enough to even believe that God has always blessed the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. Cancer Cells do not give a hoot about your Power of Prayer to God

One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all disease. LUKE 9:1 What happened? Was Jesus just clowning around? Even his own apostles died of diseases! DO YOU PEOPLE REALLY BELIEVE THAT CANCER CELLS, deadly germs, bacteria, and viruses CAN HEAR AND BE MOVED BY THE POWER OF YOUR PRAYER TO GOD? The day we are born is the day we begin to live in a dying body because of cancer cells and deadly germs, bacteria, and viruses born with us inside our bodies. Why do you now insult God with your prayers to stop you from dying sooner or later? For my part, I welcome DEATH. It is the best and last part of LIFE! Poch Suzara

Filipinos Have Never Been Healed by Jesus

When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1 Indeed, I asked it before, I ask it again: How come in the whole of Asia, only the Philippines got to be converted to be a Catholic country, but not all Filipinos are Catholics as not all Filipinos have been healed as the SICK MAN OF ASIA? Shame on You Editors

August 28, 2012 The Manila Times Letter to the Editors, Dear Editors: We are already living in the 21st century. It is incredible how you people still do not, as yet, clearly see that the one and only reason why we Filipinos in the Philippines continue to remain poor spiritually, bankrupt morally, insane socially, corrupt politically, infantile academically, degraded historically, and bankrupt economically - it is because the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century - has always been consistently BLESSED BY GOD! Today, your editorial reads: GOD BLESS CJ SERENO - AND THE PHILIPPINES. As if God has ever failed to bless daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly any of our corrupt government officials in the past and in the present! SHAME ON YOU EDITORS. Cheers! There is Nothing Wrong with Filipinos in the Philippines

Aug. 24, 2012 Dearest Guys and Gals, I said it before, I say it again: there is nothing wrong with Filipinos in the Philippines except that it continues to be BLESSED by GOD with CATHOLICISM. Indeed, the trouble with the Philippines is that since the 16th century, today, in this already 21st century - she is still under the rule and domination of the Catholics, by the Catholics, and for the Catholics. Cheers! Poch Suzara

The Power of Thought

Ninoy Aguino said: "The Filipino is worth dying for." For my part, I should say: "The Filipino is worth thinking for." After all, there is nothing more worthy in this world than the power of thought that gives birth to the power of love and growth and development. Indeed, it is obvious: as a people, we are loveless; and, as a nation, we are thoughtless. Frightened believers tell me that they believe in God because it "gives meaning to their lives." Well, during my youthful years, I too believed in God. However, I hardly felt life's meaning; on the contrary, I felt the burden of guilt that crippled my mind and heart. The terror made me live uselessly like a frightened subservient moron. I only loved divinity up there. I did not give a hoot for humanity nor had I any kind of love for my country down here. Under the influence of great fear, like a good soldier, I had the courage to die gallantly in battle; but I had no courage at all to question what it was really that I will die for. In brief, RELIGION as the most important of all subjects - I was educated to never think for myself. In fact, I was warned to read not the bible. Well, as a teenager, I did. I began to see slowly and learned gradually the lies and deceptions - the illusion, confusion, and delusion that characterize our spiritual poverty as the Sick Man of Asia in the Philippines. In the ultimate analysis, I managed, somehow, to save my precious mind and heart; NOT my silly soul. Indeed, at the age of 14 I slowly began to appreciate not only the sanity, but also the beauty and the dignity of enjoying not freedom OF religion, but freedom FROM religion. We humans live in a world of extreme poverty, hunger, and preventable diseases. Today, in this already 21st century, more than TWO BILLION people are still without access to safe drinking water, without sanitation facilities. And to think that the bible says proudly that "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have life everlasting." John 3:16. And that in the meantime, we must only wait, like crippled faithfools, for the Second Coming of the Son of God Jesus who will remedy the ills of our historicaly blessed by God society? Poch Suzara

Death is not Temporary, It is Final

After death, even if one were still alive in spirit, I ask: with what eyes shall we see; with what ears shall we hear; with what nose shall we smell; with what palate shall we taste; with what skin shall we feel; with what sexual organ shall we have sex; indeed, with what brain shall we think? In the final analysis, man dies entirely. We do not die partially. Nothing is more evident to him who is not delirious. The human body, after death, is but a mass of meat, incapable of producing any movement the union of which constitute life. We no longer see circulation, respiration, digestion, reflection, or declamation. Nothing is more natural and more simple than to believe that the dead man is no more. There is nothing more absurd than to believe that the dead man is still living. H. L. Mencken summarized neatly for all of us to clearly see: "Immortality is the condition of a dead man who does not believe that he is already dead." Poch Suzara Google# Atheist# Facebook# Twitter#

Daily Birth and Daily Death in this World

Aug, 23, 2012 Philippine Daily Inquirer Letters to the Editors Dear Editors, According to UN statistics an average of 360,000 babies are born each and every day in this world; and an average of 150,000 people die each and ever day in this world. One would think that God could have far more important things to do with his time and energy - like alleviating the historical troubles of Filipinos in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century! God just busy daily creating babies in this world to live a life of poverty; and, to daily judge the poor souls of the dead to go to heaven or to go to hell - sounds so monotonous, so boring, so meaningless - like a broken fucking record! Catholicism in the Philippines

There is something greater, far more delightful than the separation of the Catholic church of the Philippines away from the Catholic Church of the Vatican and that is the separation of the Philippines away from Catholicism - the greatest evil monster that has kept us Filipinos spiritually fucked as a people and has been keeping the Philippines morally fucked as a nation. Indeed, it is incredible to realize that in this already 21st century we Filipinos are still waiting for the Second Coming of a Jew, the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ - to remedy the historical ills of our sick society? shame on all of your Frightened Catholics

It is truly incredible, nay, despicable, in this day and age - scholars, historians, biographers, college professors, journalists, newspaper editors, and indeed - even the Knights of Rizal are all still pretty entangled arguing back and forth about Rizal said this or said that; or Rizal wrote this or wrote that; or Rizal retracted or never retracted; or Rizal married Josephine or did not marry Josephine; or Rizal promised his mother that he will once more embrace his Catholic faith or did not; or Rizal died not as a heretic but died as a penitent Catholic; or that Rizal believed in God or did not believe in God; etc, etc, etc. In the meantime, the evil monster that had Rizal arrested, incarcerated, and publicly executed - THE CATHOLIC CHURCH - is still here pretty much enjoying more wealth, more power, more authority, and more glory keeping us Filipinos spiritually FRIGHTENED as a people and keeping the Philippines morally FRIGHTENED as a nation. Indeed, among the owner of various types of commercial enterprises, the Catholic church owns and manages more than 1,000 schools, colleges, and universities established throughout the Philippines teaching daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly that Jesus Christ is not only Savior of Filipinos, not only the Savior of the Philippines, but also the Savior of Jose Rizal! I said it before, I say it again: SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON ALL OF YOU FRIGHTENED Catholics! Poch Suzara

Useless Traveling is like Useless Reading

God sees our tiny world of hate and violence, pain, suffering, illnesses, diseases, poverty, and misery. If God, however, can still afford to feel good and happy with his creation, I can only say that such an all-loving and all-merciful God has got to be some kind of a supernatural monster, if not a divine Jerk! Now we are told God does not want to meddle by transforming this earth into a paradise because God does not want us humans to be like robots. Upon what stupid nonsense is this argument based upon? Any intelligent child can see how we humans, if we do not have to waste time and energy solving our silly emotional problems or dealing with our stupid religious troubles, we can, instead, devote our time and energy to traveling around other planets inspecting, discovering, appreciating the beauty of God’s entire creation, and not just what he had created on this tiny planet called earth. To think that earth is so tiny in that a million of such planet earth can fit inside the sun. We are told that Nothing is impossible with God. Well, how come it has always been impossible for God to have created humans to inhabit heaven, and not to inhabit this God-forsaken earth? In the meantime, traveling is like reading or even separating way from an unhappy school premises: it is utterly useless if one cannot change; indeed, the greatest discovery of all time is simply - finding one's SELF in this world. Leonardo Da Vinci wrote briefly: "One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of the great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he could not do." As for me, a Born-again atheist, I discovered that I need never be afraid of the power of thought; especially as falsely frightened into me by my religiously frightened silly teachers to believe in La Salle grade school and high school. THE GOOD FOR NOTHING SILLY SOULS

Everybody knows that the truth is sacred; yet nobody knows what the truth is. The same goes for free will. Everybody knows the will is free; yet nobody knows exactly what the will is. We think ourselves free because we are conscious of our wishes and desires, but we are ignorant of the root causes by which we are led to wish or to desire. Now comes the soul. Everybody knows that the soul is immortal; yet nobody has the faintest idea of what the soul is. All that is known is that the soul must be saved. But if the soul were already immortal, it means that it is imperishable, deathless, and endless. Yet, we are constantly inspired to “save” our souls. But if the soul were already immortal, “save” from what? For what? After death, or even in life, what does it matter? Who needs it? But why even bother to save a silly soul? After death, what good is a soul without a body to house it or to contain it? If the soul can exist apart from the body, then what need is there to save it? Even if, or after, you do obey your priest’s or minister’s idiotic advice ( these guys are self-appointed expert in that field ) to repent all your sins, beg God to forgive you, etc., how can you really know that your soul has been “saved?” If Adam was the first “mortal” on this earth, and as the Christians claim, gifted with the first immortal soul, then whence came all the following billions of souls since Adam? From God? How, exactly? How do you know? God created everything? Well, if this were so, God must have created time and space too. Now where was God located before he created space, and when was it before God created time? As a matter of fact, what do we really know – not just think or imagine, but actually know anything about the nature of the soul? Not a dammed thing! Just for example: what is its length, height, and width? Color? Is it round, square, or triangular? Origin? Abode? Mode of locomotion? Has a soul been smelled, tasted, touched, measured, weighted, photographed, detected, or determined with any microscope, or telescope, or meter, or instrument of any kind? The truthful answer to these simple questions is: “We don’t know!” Then how in hell does anybody know that it even exists at all? And if the soul is non-materialistic, how can it “burn forever in hell” or “saved” – or even burn for just one single second – for that matter – it it’s not made of combustible matter? If God wants the soul saved, why doesn’t he just save it? He would know how if anybody does since “God knows everything.” You or I have no power to perform such miracles? Well, suppose it turned out to be true. That souls do exist. That a billion souls pass on to the next world every 25 years or so. However, in the thousands of years that man has existed in this world, God must already be fed up with saved souls here, souls there, and saved souls everywhere in heaven. The devil too must already be fed up with damned souls here, souls there, and damned souls everywhere in hell. Ah, what about the billions of souls too in purgatory on the way to heaven. Let’s not forget the billions of souls too in Limbo on the way to nowhere as neither God nor the devil couldn’t care less for sinless, nay, worthless silly souls of men. Poch Suzara

The Church has Always Faltered All the Time

August 11, 2012 Dear Maribel Ongpin, The Church could not care less about the quality of life. For the sake of saving souls, what’s essential to the Church is the quantity of life. The more souls there are to be saved, the business is better for the Church. Thus, the evils of family planning and birth control practice – the only way the Church stays in business for the accumulation of more wealth, more power, and more glory and authority. Yes, abortion is evil. Besides, it is no thrill to kill a baby inside the mother’s womb. It’s called murder; and murder is a crime. What’s more thrilling, however, is to let the babies be conceived, let them be born, let them grow up a bit, then give them a fighting chance, and then kill them. Kill them with malnutrition, filthy surroundings, rotten sanitation, parental neglect, diseases, or asphyxia from vehicular soot and lead. Indeed, many of the nation’s poor children play, trade, sell, eat and sleep, pee and poo, and God knows what else they do – in the streets of our major cities. What’s the Catholic purpose in being so overly concerned with babies not yet existing, and at the same time be apathetic with children already existing but also already sick and dying? Isn’t this the height of religious hypocrisy? If we do not abandon our children in the streets, we abandon them in school. There, for the most part, they are taught not to learn how to stand up to needs of the human race, but only how to faithfully kneel down to divine grace. How to seek a life of piety by ignoring knowledge and wisdom that should inspire them to carry on a decent and a healthy society. Indeed, for the most part, they only learn how to love divine grace up there by hating the human race down here. The Catholic church indeed, faltered, but not only sometimes, it does so all the time. Year in and year out. As the owners of more than 1,000 schools, colleges, and universities look how daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - the church teaches millions of Filipino students to follow and obey: - "LOVE NOT THIS WORLD (Philippines) neither the things that are in the world. If any man (Filipino) love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 1 John 2:15. And since we are also taught to believe that there is a better world to come after death, we need not worry about tomorrow because with God's blessings, tomorrow will take care of itself. Matt. 6:34. Or, via the power of prayer - to believe that in order to escape God's wrath, we must only embrace not love of country, but love of divinity. In the meantime, the worst kind of poverty is the poverty of the mind and heart. Such poverty is what our basic system of education has been and still is all about. Take a deep look at an average Filipino: He is more conversant with the life of a Jewish fellow popularly known as Jesus Christ than he is at home or familiar with the life and works of a Filipino thinker - Jose Rizal - one of the greatest of men this world has ever produced. And to think that what ails our sick country precisely comes from the teachings of the Catholic church. Look how millions upon millions of us Filipinos have been taught to believe that our Jose Rizal was a NOBODY compared to Jesus Christ - the Savior of our souls and the Savior of our country - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. Isn't it time to figure out just exactly why, in our sick country, life in general can be characterized as the daily competition to be the criminal or be the victim of the criminals. Indeed, look how we Filipinos all love Jesus up there, especially by hating one another down here? And why not - since Jesus clearly preached: "If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethrern, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26 Well, as if such horrors were not enough to keep us spiritually poor as a people and to keep us morally bankrupt as a nation, here are more holy messages from Jesus - our kind and loving Savior: "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law - a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Matt. 10:34-37 For my part, as a publicly-declared, openly-avowed humanist and a humanist is an atheist who cares, I rest my case! With my best wishes always, Poch Suzara San Lorenzo Village, Makati City Pocholsuzara@yahoo.com 0916-572-4788

Was Jesus Crucified on a Cross or Hanged on a Tree

Listen to the truth as revealed in the bible by the inspired authors of God. Read what they wrote about what was written on the cross of crucified Jesus:

This is Jesus, the King of the Jews. Matt.27:37
The King of the Jews. Mark 15:26
This is Jesus, the King of the Jews. Luke 23:38
Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews. John 19:19

One would think that there was only one cross, not four, and therefore only one inscription written on that one cross. However, in the book of Acts 5:30, Jesus was not crucified on a cross, he was hanged on a tree.

In Acts 10:39, strangely enough, it is also revealed as a truih: “And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, or in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree.”

Again, in Acts 13:29, it reads: “ And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree. And laid him in a sepulcher.” And again, in 1 Peter 2:24, “Who on his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. In the meantime, St. Augustine was obviously not a critical bible reader. He wrote: “Nothing is to be accepted except the authority of scripture, since greater is that authority than all the powers of the human mind.”

As for me, in the last analysis, if it turned out true that the Jews crucified Jesus on the cross, I’d rather love, worship, and adore the Jews - God's Chosen people. They knew exactly what they were doing! Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

We Are Blessed by God How and with What

The day we are born is the day we begin to live in a dying body. If we live for, say some 80 years, while God has been existing for 80,000,000 years - we would have lived a split second long in comparison. We also live on a particle of dust called "earth" floating aimlessly in space and going no where in time. In this connection, I ask: Have you ever met any one who has been blessed by God? Blessed how and blessed with what? Have you ever met any one whose great grandparents are still alive with health and wealth because they have been blessed by God on this earth with the power of prayer? Poch Suzara

The Philippines Famous as the Sick Nation of Asia

Self-deception is the greatest tragedy of the Filipinos as a people. Theodoro A. Agoncillo, Historian For my part, I said it before, I say it again: The Catholic church with its wealth, power, glory, and authority has been and still is the greatest stumbling block that's keeping us Filipinos frightened from growing, maturing, and developing as a free, sane, independent, and a healthy nation in Asia. Poch Suzara,

Come You Guys - Come out Straight to the Point

Come on you guys - why not come out straight to the point? Why beat around the bush? Do we really need all these linguistic contortions from you experts? We Filipinos have never, never been educated to save ourselves by way of growing up as a thinking people and by way of developing ourselves as a working nation. On the contrary, we are only suppose to believe that this life in this world is only a transition to a better life to come after we are dead! And we frightened lunatics more known as Catholics, as products of schools, colleges, and universities in our own country still believe such holy lies and sacred deceptions in this already 21st century! Only a Fool says in his Heart - there is NO God

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good."Psalms 14:1 We, the wise, the brave, the free - the atheists - we say it to the world loud and clear. "The Fool says to himself, 'There is a God who cares even for fools like me.'" In the meantime, there was once upon a time when all men, women, and children throughout the world believed, loved, and venerated God; and the Catholic church ruled the whole wide world with total power, authority, and glory. Historians refer to it as the Dark Ages. In the Philippines today in this already 21st century - millions of Filipinos are still living in the DARK AGES! Via schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church. Catholicism is still pretty much in authority, power, and glory over the minds and hearts of millions of Filipinos. Jesus is believed to be our one and only Savior. To think that Jesus was not even born a Filipino. He was born as a Jewish child of Jewish parents in a Jewish land. To think further that Jesus was neither raised nor educated as a Catholic! And to think even deeper, Israel, the land where Jesus was born, was never converted like the Philippines to be a Catholic country. It is still - a Jewish State. In the final analysis, the fool who does not read the holy bible is the bigger fool. . . Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Catholics Monks Behind the Knights of Rizal

Dear Manny Almario, Bob Bernardo, Would it too much to conclude that it was precisely catholic monks who organized the KNIGHTS OF RIZAL organization precisely to keep the real Rizal stay hidden away from the Filipinos as a people and as a nation? Indeed, to keep Rizal away from the world view to fully recognize him as a freethinker, atheist, freedom fighter, and a heretic? I have yet to hear one Knight of Rizal stand up and speak out loud and clear that compared to Jose Rizal, Jesus Christ was nothing but a Lilliputian! Something that a high-school expelled student already did in writing in this Jesus-freak country of ours - me - Poch Suzara

Our Freedom and Democracy Under God's Word

Aug. 6, 2012 Philippine Daily Inquirer Manila, Philippines Letter to the Editors GOD'S WORD The Catholic church hierarchy urged our lawmakers to listen to God's word. (PDI, Aug. 6,2012). Especially in dealing with the RH Bill - the much-needed legislation to hopefully improve the quality of Filipino life in general in our poor and backward only Christian country in Asia. According to the holy bible, however, here are those words from God. We Filipinos, no doubt, have been faithfully following such God's word ever since Christianity was introduced into our shores some 400 years ago: “If anyone comes to me and does not HATE father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple."Luke 14:26 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Matt. 10:34-37 I said it before, I say it again: There was once upon a time when all men, women, and children throughout the world believed, followed, and obeyed God and the Catholic church ruled with absolute authority. Historians refer to it as the DARK AGES. In the Philippines today in this already 21st century - we Filipinos are still living in the DARK AGES! Look how the Catholic hierarchy still have much to say as what laws must not be legislated by our lawmakers. Our lawmakers feel a sense of sin against God if they do not follow and obey the moral authority of the Catholic church hierarchy in our country. In fact, we too, as a people, feel a sense of shame if we show more love for our country down here. We must only always show love for divinity up there. Freedom and democracy in the Philippines is hardly a national beauty. Thanks to church authority it continues to be a historical mockery against the growth of common Filipino decency as a people; and, against the development of the Philippines as a decent nation. Yours Sincerely, Poch Suzara San Lorenzo Village Makati, Philippines

The Religious War of GOOD against EVIL

"All religious systems enslave the mind. Certain things are demanded--certain things must be believed -- certain things must be done -- and the man who becomes the subject or servant of this superstition must give up all idea of individuality or hope of intellectual growth or progress." Robert G. Ingersoll Religion encourages stupidity and an insufficient sense of reality. Bertrand Russell Religious war against each other is not about GOOD versus EVIL; it has always been and still is about EVIL versus EVIL and EVIL has always won otherwise more popularly known as Christianity, Islam or Judaism - the organization for world-wide destruction and not the more desirable organization for world-wide cooperation via reconstruction. Foal and Vulgar Language while we Produce babies

“In a world of superstition, reason is blasphemy. In a world of cruelty, sympathy is a crime, and in a world of lies, truth is blasphemy.” - Robert G. Ingersoll If I may add, in the Philippines, poor as we are as a people, and backward as we are as nation - we produced 3 babies every minute of the day and night. It means 1.5 million babies added yearly to our population growing recklessly. Needlessly. Uncontrollably. In the meantime, as the Sick Man of Asia, each time we say to each other - LET'S KEEPING ON FUCKING IN ORDER TO PRODUCE MORE BABIES IN OUR POOR COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY FOR THE GLORY OF GOD IN HEAVEN - are we NOT using FOAL or VULGAR language that's more indecent to our already sick and indecent society? My Silly Vulgar Language

In school, my teachers always insulted my intelligence. This was some 60 years ago. Today it is still the same horror with teachers in school twisting the minds and mutilating the hearts of innocent children in school with prayers to believe in a lot of fantasy solutions to real problems. Problems that's keeping us spiritually poor as a people and morally bankrupt as a nation! Helen, my foal language on these pages is something petty, something amateurish, something that does no one any harm. On the other hand, indeed, the TRUTH hurts, but LIES are far more damaging and can last for a thousand years. Poch Suzara

I am Lover of Truth and a Freedom-fighter

I am 75 years old. Friends and relatives wonder why I am, as ever, still hostile against organized religion. Well, I am not friendly to disorganized religion either. As a lover of truth and fighter for freedom, I am against all forms of falsehood known as God, angels, devils, heaven or hell - the products of organized superstition. Such evils have always been historically powerful, influential, tax-exempt, and traditional in passing on to innocent Filipino children too young to defend themselves in schools, colleges, and universities. Well, old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle away from silly biblical revelation. It is time to be involved with intelligent evolution. Indeed, human life on this earth should be about the struggle for mankind to establish human decency locally and to enjoy terrestrial sanity globally. Indeed, to put away all that silly business of divinity in cahoots with deviltry. No doubt, it is a waste of time. I admit it is an impossible dream. But my dear reader, what about you - how do you waste your precious time? You are accomplishing WHAT in this God-forsaken world of ours? Brief, short, and fleeting as life is on this earth! I said it before, I say it again: instead of looking forward to a better life to come after death, it makes more sense to try and leave this world a better place than how we found it. I have more than enough reason to carry on my lifetime struggle against the evils of education, nay, biblical revelation that have made us sick as a people and insane as a nation! Poch Suzara

I love Free Thought. I hate Free Stupidity

"The total amount of suffering in the natural world is beyond all decent contemplation. For most animals, reality is a business of struggle, suffering and sudden death." Richard Dawkins Nevertheless, for my part, as an atheist, I have every respect for all the lower forms of animals existing in the natural world. They do not make me sick - they have no faith in God. None of them pray to God to forgive them of their sins and crimes. They are exempted. Animals do not believe in life after death with God in heaven; or believe in life after death with the devil in hell. I envy the animals. They are not pretentious nor are they frightened of silly mysteries in nature. They need to have no faith in any of the great religions keeping our world messy as ever. In the meantime, I love free thought. I hate free stupidity! I love questions. I hate the answers as in time the answers become obsolete. I love education. I hate indoctrination; especially the kind that made us believe that what is BIGGER, TALLER, WISER, and GREATER, is not our family, is not our country, is not even the whole of humanity down here - but a SILLY JEWISH GOD up there! Jose Rizal Monument

Jose Rizal standing only as a monument at the Luneta? What a mediocre way to love, honor, and respect the greatest Filipino thinker who was publicly executed by his enemy - the Catholic church. The same church still in wealth, power, and authority over the minds and hearts of Filipinos today in the Philippines. Jose Rizal's monument should be standing not at Luneta, but erected inside our minds and hearts. His science and scientific way of thinking should be what our schools, colleges, and universities should be all about. What we have, instead, is a Jewish fellow known as Jesus Christ - believed to be the Savior of the Filipinos as a people and Savior of the Philippines as a nation. I said it before, I say it again: if we Filipinos continue to be aimless as a people, and rudderless as a nation - it is simply because Jose Rizal's creative way of thinking has never been included as a major part of the foundation of our system of education. Jose Rizal stated it briefly: "Via my country's prosperity, I would like the Filipino people to become worthy, noble, and honorable." In the meantime, you Jesus-freaks, we Filipinos have only become unworthy as a people. We have also become ignoble and corrupt as a nation! Poch Suzara

fuck the neighbors; save the animals

Before drowning by flooding to death every man, woman, and child in this world, except Noah and his family of 8 people, God shouted to Noah: "FUCK THE NEIGHBORS; SAVE THE ANIMALS!" I don't know about you religiously frightened saps. But as for me, I could never, ever again, believe, love, respect, worship, or adore such a monster otherwise more known as the Almighty, Just, Loving, Merciful, Most high, Most wise, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omniabsent, patient, Perfect, Supreme, and Infinite God. The Jesus-freaks, Religious Saps of the Philippines

"The Lord sees not only how much we give, but also how much we keep." Philippine Star July 25, 2012 I don't know about the rest of you Jesus-freaks, religious saps, - still frightened of the Lord in this already 21st century. For my part, I see the Lord as one who has not as yet made good his claim that he is the Savior not only of the Filipinos as a people, but also the Savior of the Philippines as a nation. As if, to begin with, a Jewish character of some 2,000 years ago born in Judea has anything to do with Filipinos born and enslaved by Jesus Christ's followers and disciples in the Philippines since 400 year ago! God as our Creator in his own Image and Likeness

As a little boy in school, I was told to believe that God created man in his own image and likeness. I did believe it as I was frightened to believe it. However, as I got to be older and seriously thought about it, I learned that when we are born, there are also some 20 billion kind of germs, bacteria, and viruses existing inside our body at birth while were coming out of mother's womb. These little monsters are out to destroy our bodies as they eat away our vital organs and thus, at the same time, destroying themselves thus insuring that the day we are born is also the day we begin to live in a dying body. I asked it before, I ask it again: those billions of little killer monsters existing inside our bodies - were they also gifted with a free will? And were they also created in the image and likeness of the same God? No kidding! Poch Suzara

Grandfather of Atheism of the Philippines

We Filipinos are a sick and a frightened people. 500 years of bible messages to love not this world, neither the things that are in this world have given us no sense of purpose as a people and, indeed, have given us no sense of direction as a nation. As for me, now 75 years old, I thank God that I am today known as the "grandfather of Atheism" of the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century. Poch Suzara

St. Augustine - Bishop of Hippo

Augustine never loved his life, nor loved his country, nor even loved his neighbors. He loved only God. That is why the Church canonized him a saint for the Catholics to follow and emulate. Augustine writes: “There is another form of temptation, even more fraught with danger. This is the disease of curiosity. . . it is this which drives us to try to discover the secrets of nature, those secrets which are beyond our understanding, which can avail us nothing and which men should not wish to learn. . . In the immense forests, full of pitfalls and perils, I have drawn myself back, and pulled myself away from these thorns. In the midst of all these things which float unceasingly around me in everyday life, I am never surprised at any of them, and never captivated by my genuine desire to study them. . . I no longer dream of the stars.” In his great book - The Dragons of Eden, Scientist Carl Sagan wrote: - “the time of Augustine’s death, 430 A.D., marks the beginning of the Dark Ages in Europe.” I said it before, I say it again: in sainthood history, St Augustine was one of the greatest criminals against the growth of the human mind and against the cultivation of the human heart. Endless Sick Prayers to a Sick God

The question I asked decades ago, I am still asking today: Is there hope for our country? Yes, with intelligent leaders! There will never be HOPE, however, if we just carry on endlessly with our sick prayers! After all, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - we Filipinos have not ceased to believe and to have faith in the power of prayer. Thus far, however, the result of our endless prayers is only that we must continue to pray endlessly. Indeed, as published recently in the Philippine Star newspaper, it states: "When it comes to prayer, don't hang up - hang on!" In the meantime, if God or Jesus answered our prayers to cure cancer, how come cancer is still a disease that afflicts our loved-ones? Indeed, if prayers were efficient or reliable all of us would stay young, healthy, intelligent, and rich in spirit. But we live sick in a sick society as we remain famous as the Sick Children of Asia - due to, if not because of our endless faith in the sick power behind our sick prayer. Poch Suzara

The Basic Evil Done to Filipino Children in School

The greatest evil done to us Filipinos during our formative years in school was the murder of our curious minds. Look how utterly incurious we are as a people, and how even more incurious we are as a nation. Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by Catholic education. Especially in the Philippines where most of the existing schools, colleges, and universities are owned and operated by the Catholic church - it is one of the most highly profitable commercial enterprises existing in our country teaching us to be spiritually twisted as a people and to be morally distorted as a nation. In fact, to teach us that this world is just a transition to a better world to come after death with God in heaven while we take advantage of the forgiveness of sins and crimes by God at any time. In the meantime, show me a Filipino who has enjoyed his grade school, high school, and college years as a Catholic student and I will show you a Filipino who is shallow-minded, greedy, selfish, insane, corrupt, and has more faith in his prayers to a divinity than he loves to think and to work hard for the growth and development of his own country. The Truth behind Science and the Lies Behind Religion

It is really a pity that a great many people have not been educated to cultivate the ability to doubt. After all, the invention of doubt has always been and still is far more luminous than the invention of fire? In the meantime, the aim and purpose of science is the perfection of the human race. The aim and purpose of religion, however, is the salvation of the minority and the damnation of majority. Indeed, religion has always been and still is a disgrace to the human race. Consider industrial greed and selfishness have provoked war, religious hatred and intolerance makes mutual effort for peace and harmony impossible; instead of standing together to fight aggression, it's about Catholics against Protestants, Jews against Muslims, Muslims against Buddhists, and Buddhists against Catholics - the vicious circle. Such is religion's contribution to the human civilization: division instead of union. And what is the source of it all these horrors? Misunderstood scriptures, oriental and occidental, written by superstitious primitives not millions of years ago when time and space began, but only 2,000 to 4,000 years ago when, for the sake of big business, a silly Jewish divinity gave birth to human stupidity to spread endlessly globally. Christianity for Wealth and Power and Glory

When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, 'Let us pray.' We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land. Archbishop Desmond Tutu If I may add, the same thing happened in the Philippines when Christianity arrived during the 16th century. Except that today in this already 21st century, we only have the Christian bible, while our land, our schools, colleges, universities, not to mention our government, our media, including our souls, indeed, our very own existence belong to God up there while we Filipinos are supposed to hate each other down here! God Not Acting Like a God in this world

If a God refuses to act like a God in this world here and now, why should such a God act like a real God only in the next world later? What’s the big deal about a FREE WILL, if, in the next world, what we will enjoy is the DEAD WILL of a DEAD BODY? The purpose driven life is based on a lot of religious hogwash. After all, the real meaning of life is that it stops. As an atheist, I care more about the future of MANKIND - the life of children and their children in this world. I do not give a hoot about the future of stupid souls after a stupid death to live again in the next stupid world only to have do more of the same old stupid bullshit - love, worship, and adore God and his son Jesus! - what a waste of precious time and energy! For my part, I say, open your mind and heart to change, especially by letting go of your silly values and childish beliefs that are useless, if not obsolete. I love and Respect and Admire the Atheists in this world

I said it before, I say it again: Abolish Christianity, Islam, and Judaism together with their respective schools, colleges, and universities and we will have a better, more peaceful, beautiful, and a more fruitful and creative world. The great religions of the world have been and still are the root causes of hate and war and poverty and misery and stupidity in this world. What can transform our insane world into a sane world is via the spread of ATHEISM. I have every love and respect and admiration for the atheists - they do not hate or kill other atheists just because they do not believe in God or in Allah or in Yahweh! Then God blamed Adam and Eve for being guilty of the Original Sin even if neither Adam nor Eve never originated anything in this world to begin with. For my part, I thank God, I thank the Talking Serpent, and I thank the Holy Bible lessons and messages, and I also thank a lot of you active members of this forum - you all make me proud and happy that I was born as an ATHEIST and will die one day soon as an ATHEIST. indeed, I am most elated that I have no need for an invisible means of support. We FILIPINOS Are Employees in Foreign countries

My Dearest Et Al, When the foreigners - Americans, British, Germans, French, Italians, Spaniards, Jews, Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Australians, etc, are here living in the Philippines - they are here as our "employers." When college-educated Pinoys and Pinays (20,000,000) million of college-educated now living and working today in 200 foreign countries - they are there living and working in such foreign countries as their "employees." In Hongkong, our teachers earn better wages as "servants"- cleaning toilets, doing laundry work, washing dishes, taking care of babies than if they remain "teachers" in the Philippines. Grade school, high school, and college education in the Philippines have yet to be about learning how to work together for our own growth as a people in the here; and, should be about learning how to think together for own development as a nation in the now. For my part, as a high school expelled student of some 60 years ago - I said it before, I say it again: it is time for all of us Filipinos to take back what was stolen away from us for God's glory in heaven - our precious minds and hearts - twisted and mutilated inside schools, colleges, and universities. Such commercial enterprises have been and still are teaching us Filipinos to only be faithful as a Catholic; and never mind to also be well-informed, useful, and loyal in the here and now as citizens of our Republic! What Philippine Government Are You Talking About

My Dear Dr. Bayani Katigbak, What Philippine government are you talking about? We Filipinos have no government OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, and FOR THE PEOPLE. What we do have, however, is the GOVERNMENT OF THE OFFICIALS, BY THE OFFICIALS, and FOR THE OFFICIALS. All of them CORRUPT especially as they are perpetually inspired by divine guidance under the doctrine of the forgiveness of SIN and CRIME in this only Christian country in Asia! Poch Suzara

Bertrand Russell - a God to Me

Unlike many lonely people, Bertrand Russell cultivated a rather self-conscious sensitivity to the troubles of others. Indeed, Bertrand Russell believed(1): that the good life or happiness requires almost continuous activity, and (2) that, if knowledge and love are capable of being extended, then it follows that however good a life may be, a better life can be imagined because we can always imagine a world in which there is more knowledge and more love. I love and respect Bertrand Russell. He was a God to me. Bertrand Russell saved not my stupid soul; he taught me how to save instead my intelligent mind. Poch Suzara

I Never Lied to Any of You

"If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane." - Robert Ingersoll Another word for "insane" is THE SICK MAN OF ASIA - the frightened men and women - products of schools, colleges, and universities own and operated by the Catholic church in the Philippines. Such frightened men and women are more horrified by harmless "vulgar language" than they should be more terrified by harmful "vulgar beliefs and vulgar values" keeping us Filipinos intellectually poor and spiritually sick as a people; not to mention morally sick and economically bankrupt as a nation. Consider in this already 21st century. We Filipinos are still taught to believe that among the countries of Asia, the Philippines has been and still is the one and only country in Asia that's lucky enough to have been always BLESSED WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES AND BELIEFS by God and his angels from heaven through Christ our Lord down here on earth. May I however, say, with all due truthfulness, that the damage I have done in this forum by my foal and vulgar language is so puny, so petty as compared to the historical damage done to Filipino minds and hearts since the 16th century by the wealth, power, and glory of Christianity in the Philippines! Indeed, the truth hurts, but lies are far more damaging and can last for a thousand years. One thing I should get credit for in this forum - I never lied to any of you!Poch Suzara

We Love only Jesus

In the Philippines, as the only Christian country in Asia since 400 years ago, who cares about following traffic rules and regulations or the laws of our land? Animals Native in the Philippines

I have all the respect, trust and admiration, for all of the animals native in the Philippines. None of them can be accused of sin, crime, or corruption. Indeed, these animals are all very lucky. They have never had a need to enroll in any of our schools, colleges, and universities. Poch Suzara

Why I do not Follow Jesus

In the News Testament, Jesus said: "Follow me!" But I declined. I rather not. I would rather follow a man of self-respect and dignity. A character like Jesus who tells me: "believe and be saved, believe not and be damned," is a person not worth following, not worth emulating, not worth believing! Poch Suzara

I am a happy and a proud Atheist

To be moral, according to Jesus, I must shackle my reason. I must force myself to believe and have faith in what I cannot understand. I must suppress, in the name of morality, any doubts that surface in my mind. I must regard as a mark of excellence an unwillingness to subject religious beliefs to critical analysis. Less doubts, less criticism leads to more faith – and faith, Jesus declares, is the hallmark of virtue. Indeed, “unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matt. 18:3. Children, after all, are always gullible enough believe even in the existence of Santa Claus. As an atheist, - I am a man of self-esteem. I therefore cannot quality to be a candidate for the master-slave relationship that Christianity offers me. A man lacking in self-esteem, a man ridden with guilt, will frequently prefer the apparent security of Christianity over independence and find comfort in the thought that, for the price of total submissiveness, God will love and protect and reward him especially after death in heaven eternally. Indeed, I am a happy and a proud atheist. I have no need to pay a dear price for that deadly religious way of life: the mindless surrender of the self via the mutilation of the intellect. What a BOOBOO to be like God

The bible tells us to be like God, but then on page after page it describes God as petty, unjust, cruel, vindictive, capricious, sadomasochistic, and a bully, not to mention - a murderer. These horrors may be the historical complexity that explains the political behavior of most countries of Western world; especially, the Philippines - the only Christian countryin Asia. Civilization is the order and freedom promoting cultural activity. Will Durant Civilization is the process of reducing the infinite to the finite. Oliver W. God Bless our Sick Economic System

There are already more than 15,000,000 Filipinos residing and working today in some 168 foreign countries. Indeed, in the Philippines, out of every one job available there are more than 100 applicants applying for that job. And the wages offered are, as usual, pathetic. Just like working for any employer who is a “me first” greedy lunatic or the kind who is proud to be a BLESSED BY GOD Catholic! In the meantime, I have yet to see Filipino economists working not for their employer’s greed, but working by protecting and defending the employee’s needs. If they are unable to do so, the least they can do is to start proclaiming that our population growth is not fruitful, but fruitless in our struggle for equality via national economic prosperity. In our country where the rich minority get richer, and the poor majority get poorer, I ask: what the fuck are you Filipino college-educated economists doing to remedy the national bullshit otherwise more known as GOD BLESS the sick economic system traditional in the Philippines? Old Age, Manny Pacquiao, and Decency in the Philippines

Old age, like any other age, is the time to struggle for human decency. - Bertrand Russell I would like to add, however, old age, like any other age, is also the time to expose the lies and deceptions that's keeping us Filipinos directionless as a people, and rudderless as a nation. In this connection, I say, if only Manny Pacquiao as our champion boxer of the world can see his way clear that he could also be the greatest Filipino thinker by boxing too at the dirty faces of lies and deception that's keeping losers as a people and a failure as a nation - he can turn out to be the greatest Filipino boxer/hero/savior this world, our world, has ever produced! Who are We as Atheists in this world

We atheists stand for inquiry and doubt. We stand for logic and sound empirical method. We stand for things capable of sorting true facts from what is false, to every reasonable person's satisfaction. We stand with courage to admit ignorance, and the wisdom to assume not too much, as well as the consequent political reality that finding common ground and negotiating differences is far wiser, and better for all, than maintaining adamant opposition on matters that do not even warrant an adamant opinion in the first place. We stand for reason as justification for free inquiry rather than slavish belief. We stand for happiness, and the understanding and accomplishment that are needed to achieve it. Above all, we atheist stand for being a hero to himself and his fellow humans, rather than to a villain. When the reasons for these values are truly understood, any man would hold on to them and keep them, even if god himself appeared and ended all dispute as to his existence. Indeed, an atheist ought to live his life so he can say with all sincerity, "even if God's existence were proven, I would change only my understanding of the facts, and not the values by which I guide my conduct and thought as a decent man living the good life - one inspired by the love of life, and guided by the joys of more learning via the pursuit of more knowledge. Indeed, we atheists are inspired not by infantile pursuits but by endless questioning to promote intelligent and honest thinking for the sake of enhancing intellectual maturity in order to spread more common human decency. It is, in this way, in the end, that we atheists die sober, and not drunk with lies. There is no such thing as a "hereafter" after death simply because there no such thing as a "herebefore" before birth! Poch Suzara

Atheism is a Worldwide Movement Without Victims

Foremost Philippine historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo summed it all up: “Self-deception is the worst tragedy of the Filipino as a people." Well, I should add, what can be expected of Filipinos who continue to be not the intelligent masters, but the silly victims of values and beliefs under Christianity and its teachings based upon confusion, illusion, and confusion, not to mention: "eternal salvation" at the expense of Filipino civilization? In the meantime, I am most proud to be one of the many Filipino atheists in our country today. Atheism is a worldwide movement without followers, without victims. As atheists, we are all, each and every one of us - the masters, as well as leaders of this movement. We have no need of frightened followers or members to charge membership dues and to extract "donations" or "charity money" from them. Poch Suzara

Atheism for the Philipines

My Dearest Et al, Everybody knows that 99.9 per cent of the men and women employed, installed, appointed, or elected to serve in the Philippine government are corrupt or easily corruptible. These college-educated faithfools would defend and protect first their position or their monthly salary, but never, would they ever - defend and protect love of country. Nobody, however, has the guts to admit that there are no atheists connected with the Philippine government. Indeed, the corrupt officials and some other 1.7 million corrupt government employees all have faith, believe, love, worship, and adore God and his son Jesus. As if these supernatural Jewish characters have anything to do with Filipinos in the Philippines to begin with. For my part, as an atheist, I say this is a most favorable argument for Atheism to grow, to expand, and to develop in the Philippines. That is, if we hope to see and to feel that ours is an honest and efficient government of the people, by the people, and for the people. NOT for what is divine up there, but simply - for what is human down here. Poch Suzara

Code of Living for the Atheist

CODE OF LIVING FOR ATHEISTS Dedicated to, as inspired by the writings of, - Dr. Jose Rizal Keep the body strong that the most efficient work may be done, the greatest happiness obtained during life and a wholesome inheritance passed on to future generations. Cultivate the mind, learning as many important facts as possible, striving to become expert in some particular field of endeavor. Develop a scientific spirit, the essential characteristic of which is the search for truth in the light of evidence and reason. Do not deceive yourself or others. Base your spiritual concepts on the basis of questioning everything. Be prepared to change your philosophy to conform to the consensus of scientific knowledge. Conduct all human relationships in a spirit of tolerance and love, having proper consideration for others, not presuming to control or to dominate their lives. Treat the opposite sex honorably, respecting their complementary qualities, with due regard for succeeding generations. Endeavor to embody in the laws of the community the spirit of equity, sanity, and human decency. Strive for an economic system under which each individual shall be rewarded according to his or her value to society. Avoid the use of physical force for personal revenge or national aggrandizement, having learned from experience that reason triumphs while brutality degrades. Hold yourself in readiness to accept new findings, new revelations, and new knowledge as a self-correcting enterprise. Poch Suzara

The Ways of Frightened Little Children

In the bible: “Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matt. 18:1-4 Again Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you. Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of heaven as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” Mark 10:15 And that is exactly what we all are in this famous only Christian country in Asia: a bunch of frightened children incapable of standing up to solve human problems. We have yet to solve our social and political problems with consistent hard work, and not with childish prayers. Prayers are the ways of the superstitious primitives. Yes, we are all cowards in this morally bankrupt, spiritually impoverished, and politically insane country of ours. It is time to shape up and grow up not with stupid beliefs, but with intelligent values. Let us look deep at the power of science – now directing other Asian countries to extricate themselves out of poverty into enviable social, economic and political growth and development. How could the Filipino mind, filled with frightful phantoms and guided only by men interested in perpetuating their own infantile ignorance and childish fears, make progress either as a people or develop as a nation? In this country, like frightened children, we still believe in the silly pronouncements of other stupid children otherwise known as “politicians” and “theologians” not to mention frightened lawyers, teachers, professors, priests, bishops, archbishops, and cardinals.” As if they have anything truthful, useful, or fruitful to say or to deliver for the growth and maturity of our country. Where is the sense of pride and dignity of the Filipino as a people? Why do we continue to suffer much despite our endless devotion to God and his saints? How come in this one and only Christian country in Asia since the 16th century – we Filipinos continue to have a limit to human intelligence, but we seem to have no limit to the “arrogance” of human stupidity? Even our college-educated men and women at home and abroad never fail to prove that we are, indeed, the Sick Children of Asia. Now I am told that “atheism” can never become a way of daily life in the Philippines – not in a thousand years. Well, in that case, I say - let us put up the fight for atheism TODAY, not like a bunch of frightened cowards – postpone it for TOMORROW. Even our college professors are just as childish as everyone else. They are just as superstitious. They still teach that what is essential for the development of the Filipino mind is to appreciate those things that are incomprehensible and therefore need not be proved to be true. Indeed, when our brain is troubled, we believe everything and examine nothing. Like silly little children, we all want to be afraid. Our imagination via our indoctrination demands it. We have deep faith in sacred mysteries. Indeed, we reject what is known, we would rather play around with what is unknown or even with what is NOT worth knowing. It’s obvious we fear nothing more than having nothing to fear. We are no better off than the fugitives from justice: In our sick society, we are all fugitives from reason. Our favorite sport is to jump always into conclusion by running away from reality in order to have faith in our delusions and illusions. In the meantime, my dear reader, it is time to wake up. Our prayers addressed to God are as similar in form and substance to the letters ignorant children write to Santa Claus during Christmas Season. What could be more “arrogant” than that infantile pursuit? For my part, I would rather embrace atheism than continue to have faith in Catholicism in my country. It is time for us to be a grace to the human race. Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

Truth - What Truth

“Truth is a shining goddess, always veiled, always distant, never wholly approachable, but worthy of all the devotion of which the human spirit is capable.” Bertrand Russell "The sacred truth in science is that there are no sacred truths." Carl Sagan The truth has been revealed in the bible; unfortunately, nobody knows which truth has been revealed. Or even revealed by whom, for whom, or to whom? In the meantime, the truth can be found not only at the bottom of the abyss, but that the abyss is also bottomless. The sum of the whole matter is that our civilization cannot survive materially unless it be redeemed spiritually. - Woodrow Wilson “The learning of something new requires a giving up of the old self and a death of outworn knowledge. To develop a broader vision we must be willing to forsake, to kill, our narrower vision. In the short run it is more comfortable not to do this – to stay where we are, to keep using the same microcosmic map, to avoid suffering the death of cherished notions. The road to spiritual growth, however, lies in the opposite direction. We begin by distrusting what we already believe, by actively seeking the threatening and the unfamiliar, by deliberately challenging the validity of what we have previously been taught and hold dear. The path to holiness lies through questioning EVERYTHING.” - M. Scot Peck, Psychiatrist Spirituality has nothing to do with silly superstitious fantasy, or anything to do with childish religiosity. It has only to do with the search of the truth via the power of our own precious intelligibility constantly aware of stark reality. Indeed, the search of the truth is man's most highest form of spirituality. Poch Suzara
