If Jesus Was God - The Savior of the World

If Jesus was God - the Savior of the world, then who was he praying to on the cross when he cried our loud:, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me"? ( Mark 15:34; Matthew 27:46) Was he praying to himself? If so, was he complaining to himself about why he had forsaken himself? Whatever happened to the power of prayer? How come it did not work for Jesus? But then again, if Jesus was God and he very well knew that after His death on the cross, He will resurrect back to life after three days, why would He feel forsaken by His relatives on earth as they were in heaven? . . .
