Indeed, ever since the 16th century, millions upon millions of us Filipinos have never ceased to pray to God for our healthy growth as a people, and for our wealthy development as a nation. Thus far, however, we are still spiritually sick as a people, and still sick economically and sick and backward morally as a nation - we are only told to just keep on praying! - - - And like frightened damned fools - in this already 21st century, we are still busy, faithful, and sick with our sick prayers! . . .
