Mission in Life - Dear FR. Shay Cullen, Preda

Dear Fr. Shay Cullen, Preda, I do not believe in the existence of a supreme Being. I do, however, believe in the existence of great men and women. Great individuals who had the courage to put beauty into this world, our world, where nature has put only horror. One such great man, the greatest as far as I am concerned was Bertrand Russel - mathematician, logician, philosopher, historian, pacifist, teacher, professor, lecturer, atheist, agnostic, humanist, author of some 98 published books, Nobel Prize Winner, freethinker, freedom-fighter, and one of the Fathers of the Computer Industry. Aside from teaching me how to commit myself to humane values, especially in the pursuit of the truth, Bertrand Russell also taught me how to love, respect, and admire another great man - the greatest of Filipino thinkers in Philippine history - Dr. Jose Rizal. By the power and authority of Christianity, Dr. Jose Rizal was arrested, incarcerated, and publicly executed by the same enemy of the Filipinos as a people then and now still existing keeping the Philippines frightened traditionally, damaged culturally, poor spiritually, bankrupt morally, and corrupt politically as a nation. Bertrand Russell wrote: "The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge." In his mission in life, here are the words he wrote in - WHAT I HAVE LIVED FOR "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair. I have sought love, first, because it brings ecstasy - ecstasy so great that I would often have sacrificed all the rest of life for a few hours of this joy. I have sought it, next, because it relieves loneliness--that terrible loneliness in which one shivering consciousness looks over the rim of the world into the cold unfathomable lifeless abyss. I have sought it finally, because in the union of love I have seen, in a mystic miniature, the prefiguring vision of the heaven that saints and poets have imagined. This is what I sought, and though it might seem too good for human life, this is what--at last--I have found. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of men. I have wished to know why the stars shine. And I have tried to apprehend the Pythagorean power by which number holds sway above the flux. A little of this, but not much, I have achieved. Love and knowledge, so far as they were possible, led upward toward the heavens. But always pity brought me back to earth. Echoes of cries of pain reverberate in my heart. Children in famine, victims tortured by oppressors, helpless old people a burden to their sons, and the whole world of loneliness, poverty, and pain make a mockery of what human life should be. I long to alleviate this evil, but I cannot, and I too suffer. This has been my life. I have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered me." The Mediocres as the Sick Man of Asia

Heroic lives are inspired by heroic ambitions, and the young who thinks there is nothing to be done is pretty sure to do nothing important. Bertrand Russell. Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices, but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence and fulfills the duty to express the results of his thought in clear form. Albert Einstein. In the Philippines, however, great spirits have always found opposition from the faithful followers of Jesus. Theses mediocres and the Philistines are always ready to protect first their own intellectual bankruptcy, at best; at worst, however, ready to defend divinity always in cahoots with deviltry. In the meantime, in our only Christian country in Asia - a nation existing with lies, deceptions, delusions, confusion, and corruption - telling the TRUTH is known to be the lowest form of stupidity, if not the highest norm for insanity! WHAT A LOT OF BIBLE-inspired GARBAGE

Dear Sonny, here's a deeper question that nobody has yet, not my teachers in high school, or even the college-educated saps on these pages have given me a satisfactory explanation: HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER HEARD OF A FILIPINO WHO GOT TO BE FILTHY RICH FOR BELIEVING THAT GOD IS BAD? SO HOW COME MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF FILIPINOS ARE FILTHY POOR FOR BELIEVING THAT GOD IS GOOD? In the meantime, in the holy bible, a book written by INSPIRED authors of God, Isaiah clearly wrote: "I FORM THE LIGHT AND CREATE DARKNESS: I MAKE PEACE AND CREATE EVIL: I THE LORD DO THESE THINGS!" Isaiah 45:7 Sonny, for my part, I have ceased to wonder why the history of our world, especially the history of the Philippines has never been about GOOD versus EVIL. It has always been about EVIL versus EVIL and EVIL always WON! Facebook# Twitter# Google# Atheist#

WHAT A LOT OF HOLY GARBAGE

More than 100 Billion Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Confucians, Hindus, and Taoists have already lived and died on this earth. I ask: - when will the creator stop creating failures and losers in His own image and likeness? Indeed, we humans on this earth, due to fright, would rather concern ourselves with divinity; instead of facing with self-respect and dignity the troubles and problems of humanity. And that’s how silly we all are embracing with silly faith our silly religion like silly religious morons. In the meantime, we are told that God knows everything. God knows the past, the present, and the future. WHAT A LOT OF HOLY GARBAGE! Many times, I prayed and asked God where exactly are my dead parents, dead grandparents, dead friends, dead associates - located in heaven or in hell? Hijos de tootie-frootie-patooties CONIO - NOBODY knows? Not GOD, NOT the DEVIL! Not even the saints of GOD or the angels of the DEVIL! Even the theologians do not know! So what kind of RELIGIOUS JOKES ARE YOU PEOPLE PLAYING HERE ABOUT THE EXISTENCE OF GOD, LOVE OF GOD, GOD IS SALVATION, GOD IS DAMNATION, GOD IS THIS OR THAT? WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW DID YOU RELIGIOUS MORONS ACQUIRE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD? IN THE BIBLE? WHICH HOLY BIBLE - THE BIBLE OF THE CHRISTIANS? THE JEWS? THE MUSLIMS? THE BUDDHISTS? THE TAOISTS? THE HINDUS? I said it before, I say it again: A God who creates SICK POLITICIANS TO MANAGE THE SICK MAN OF ASIA UNDER A SICK GOVERNMENT LIKE OUR SICK CONGRESSMEN AND SICK SENATORS IS NOT A HEALTHY GOD, BUT A SICK GOD! NO WAY JOSE WOULD I BELIEVE AND LOVE AND RESPECT AND WORSHIP SUCH A SICK GOD! NEVER! OVER MY DEAD BODY! Poch Suzara Twitter# Atheist# Facebook# Google#

The Trouble With Religion

The trouble with religion is that it has revealed everything except the truth. Indeed, if religion were to make any sense at all - it must reveal, first and foremost, - the truth; especially the truth about the existence of God! There is no such revelation. No such truth. Philosopher Bertrand Russell said it: "Religion encourages stupidity and an insufficient sense of reality." For my part, I say religion has paved the way for amnesia that makes the Filipino forgetful of the historical horror that he is already spiritually degraded, morally twisted, and politically corrupted as the Sick Man of Asia. Evil Versus Evil as the History of the World

Of all the great evils that God, in his inscrutable wisdom, had needlessly inflicted upon mankind - Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are by far the worst. Big business, however, like The US government, welcomes the existence of such evil; especially for the sake of making tons of money or for the US economy to grow and expand. It gives the US military power all the opportunity to inspire evil to go to war against evil in this world. Indeed, a little reflection on the history of our world - shows simply that history has never been about GOOD versus EVIL, but always about EVIL versus EVIL. They are still on going throughout the world today and EVIL still winning. Look how in our world today - the human race is still being disgraced - by divine grace! For my part, however, I thank God I am an atheist and a pacifist. In looking at it from a larger perspective, everything in this universe is subject to birth, growth, death, and decay. In other words, each unfolding reality contains the seeds of its own destruction and the embryo of a new reality that will replace it. It is all about the Entropy Law - the second law of thermodynamics - everything in the entire universe began with structure and value and is irrevocably moving in the direction of random chaos and waste. It also explains why and how the day we are born is the day we begin to live in a dying body. As I said it before, I say it again: When it is our time to go, we go. When, however, it is not yet our time to go - not even our doctors can kill us! Poch Suzara Google# Twitter# Facebook# Atheist#

Education as the Enemy of Thought

Education - one of the chief obstacles to intelligence and the freedom of thought... We are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education. Bertrand Russell. In the meantime, education in our schools, colleges, and universities is mostly about learning WHAT to believe; hardly about learning HOW to think. Indeed, belief is the death of intelligence. Just like fucking is the death of thinking! In La Salle high school I did not want to believe. I wanted to think. I wanted to know! I was considered a nuisance in class. Happily, I was expelled. I eventually enrolled as a student in the greatest of all universities in the world - it is but a collection of books - a library where no one threatened me with eternal damnation for my thinking about something or for my questioning everything! All Thinking Men and Women are Atheists

"All thinking men are atheists." Ernest Hemingway In the Philippines, all men, specially with college education, are not thinkers. They are frightened believers. Thinking is a sin against the holy spirit. What's sad about the Philippines, however, is that the Filipino atheists are still hiding behind the closet. The gays and the lesbians have been more courageous. They are proud to admit to anybody that they are gays or lesbians, They are now accepted as a legitimate part of society. The atheists are still out there trying so hard to prove to everybody that they are not thinking men or thinking women! Poch Suzara Google# Twitter# Atheists# Facebook#

Everything is a Failure in the Philippines

Everything is a failure in the Philippines, except the baby factory - it's a tremendous success. We produce 3 babies every minute of the day and night or 4,320 babies daily or 30,240 babies weekly or 120,960 babies monthly; or 1.5 million babies yearly. To think the laborers, without wages paid to them, tremendously enjoy their work day in and day out producing babies - the only productive factory in the Philippines specially for the greater glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven! I Love My Country. I Hate Divinity

The historical troubles in the Philippines have little to do with the Filipino brain being drained out of the Philippines. It has more to do with the sick brain of our congressmen and the sick brain of our senators keeping the Filipino sick as a people, and keeping the Philippines sick as a nation. To think, however, that out of the 100 million citizens of the Republic of the Philippines today - 99 million Filipinos have faith in God and in his Son Jesus - the Savior of the Sick Man of Asia. Only 1 million Filipinos are the atheists - the unbelievers of the sick faith! For my part, I am most proud and happy to be a Filipino atheist. As an unbeliever of the sick faith I play no part in the sick mess that's keeping us Filipinos sick as a people and keeping the Philippines sick as a nation! I said it before, I say it again: I love my country. I hate divinity for what it has done to my beloved country! Poch Suzara, atheist

Open Letter to Pope Francis of the Catholic Church

Pope Francis’s New Tone Suggests an Age of Change Ahead Since his papacy began in March, Pope Francis has shown himself to be a man of small but substantial gestures. He exudes a pastoral charm -- whether cleaning the feet of prisoners, hugging a disabled child after easter Mass or picking up the phone to comfort the distraught -- that didn’t always come naturally to his predecessors. He dresses modestly, lives austerely, speaks constantly of the poor and drives a 1984 Renault. He has reached out to atheists, gays and divorcees. In an interview released last week, Francis went further still. He affirmed his support for gays and lesbians, spoke candidly about his mistakes and doubts, and made clear that the Vatican, in his estimation, has fixated for far too long on a narrow set of controversial issues and “small-minded rules.” “The church’s pastoral ministry cannot be obsessed with the transmission of a disjointed multitude of doctrines to be imposed insistently,” he said. “We have to find a new balance; otherwise even the moral edifice of the church is likely to fall like a house of cards.” In describing that new balance, the pope’s language was suffused with ambiguity, uncertainty and doubt -- in other words, the language of reality. And perhaps most strikingly, he showed himself to be comfortable with change. “Human self-understanding changes with time and so also human consciousness deepens,” he said. “The view of the church’s teaching as a monolith to defend without nuance or different understandings is wrong.” This is not the language one is accustomed to hearing from popes. Or from, say, the U.S. Congress. Yet it should resonate with other large and change-averse institutions that will soon be grappling with an era of unprecedented change. To say that Francis is trying to appease “liberal” Catholics, or is conforming to any other ideological caricature, is to miss the point. He’s attempting to transcend the moribund and dispiriting language of the culture wars altogether, and to inject a note of seriousness and compassion into a public conversation saturated with triviality and invective. And he is grounding his arguments, in the best tradition of Catholic thought, in concern for the individual. In doing so, Francis also makes a strong case that he, and by extension the church, has something to offer even increasingly secular societies. In the developing world, where some 70 percent of Catholics now live, the church is most visible in the network of social services it operates for the poor. In the rich world, in recent years, it has more often been the voice of reaction and sexual opprobrium. Francis is clearly trying to change that dynamic, to show that the church has more to offer. We should hope he’s right. In an age of accelerating technological and social upheaval -- when everything from communications to economics to politics to the global climate is rapidly evolving -- a moral voice that is not only open to change but also attuned to the individual suffering and alienation that change can cause will grow ever more important. Francis’s rhetoric implies no imminent revolution in church policies. Yet the Vatican is an organization of the long game. “Many think that changes and reforms can take place in a short time,” he said. “I believe that we always need time to lay the foundations for real, effective change.” This is true, both in the church and in every other human institution. You may be disappointed that Francis hasn’t started officiating at gay weddings, or you may be furious that he’s opening a dialogue on issues his predecessors considered closed. You may not care at all. Whatever your view, however, Francis ought to be taken seriously. In the war of ideas, the papacy remains a singularly influential institution, and this pope is wielding his persuasive power in a new and vivifying way. OPEN LETTER TO POPE FRANCIS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH My Dear Pope Francis, The Philippines has financial limited resources and a high poverty rate. The rapid increase in population has worsen as a problem. We have not sufficient resources to support the population, which leaves much fewer resources to improve the economy. Indeed, with more and great resources coming, we need only to abolish not poverty, but slavery. Millions of Filipinos are not enslaved because they are poor; on the contrary, they are poor because they are still enslaved. Jesus, in the bible, admonished: "There is still one thing you haven't done," he told him. "Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Matt. 10:21. We Filipinos did not have to sell our possessions; it was taken away from us. We are now the poor. In fact, as the only followers of Jesus in all of Asia, we Filipinos suffer from poverty of the worst kind: the poverty of the mind and heart. We Filipinos have nothing in this world except to be with Jesus after death in the next world. My dear Pope Francis, please be informed that among the very rich people in the Philippines are your Catholic priests, nuns, bishops, and Cardinals. They live not in the slums of our major cities, but reside in expensive condominiums, expensive villages, expensive mansions, and luxurious homes together with their respective wives and children, if not lovers or lived-in partners. No doubt, our congressmen and senators are among the wealthiest of Filipinos too, and the majority of them are faithful as Catholics. Not one of them is an atheist. Please, your eminence, please return the TRILLIONS OF PESOS the Catholic church made from the Catholic business corporations operating under tax-free privileges in the Philippines - monies made in the indulgence industry, real estate rentals, hospitals, farms, banks, schools, colleges, and universities - monies made yearly since the 16th century. Please give it back to the MILLIONS of economically impoverished Filipinos. In this way, You will not only insure the continued existence of the Catholic church in the Philippines, but will also earn the love, respect, and admiration of the billions of people in the non-Catholic countries. I, myself would once again believe that Catholicism is a great religion, and once again be faithful to the revealed truth that the Catholic church is not the historical curse, but the real Savior of the Filipinos in this only Catholic country in Asia today. Thank you for your kind attention and consideration to this communication. I remain, with all good wishes, Poch Suzara, Atheist

All Faithful to God; None of them are Atheists

"They came with a bible and their religion, stole our land, crushed our spirit. and they tell us that we should be thankful to the Lord for being saved." Pontiac 1718-1769 A native American said this a few centuries ago, lamenting what had happened to his land and people. In the Philippines, the process was not any much different, but the impact even more destructive. Not only was a grave injustice done, but the Church which benefited from the loss of the natives chooses to be mute about it, virtually disqualifying itself from being a credible voice against corruption. Worse, the government that is now in the hands of the native Filipinos themselves,(all faithful to God; none of them are atheists) suffers from historical amnesia and an inherited elitism which places blame on the victims of poverty for their loss of their patrimony. Never has the saying above been more true today for most Filipinos - in the Philippines - the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century! Poch Suzara Twitter# Google# Facebook# Atheist#

IT IS TIME TO GET ANGRY

HE WHO ANGERS YOU CONQUERS YOU. Elizabeth Kenny. Oh my dear Elizabeth Kenny, millions of Filipinos are still a conquered people because in its schools, colleges, and universities - the Catholic church, since the 16th century, continue to teach millions of Filipino CHILDREN to believe that "ANGER" is one of seven deadly sins against God. Nobel Prize Winners

There are Nobel Prize Winners in Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Medicine, Literature, and Peace. Between 1901 and 2012, the Nobel Prizes and the Prize in Economic Sciences were awarded 555 times to 863 people and organizations. With some receiving the Nobel Prize more than once, this makes a total of 835 individuals and 21 organizations. There never was, however, a Filipino who ever won any of the Nobel Prizes. This is only because there is no Nobel Prize awarded for CORRUPTION; ESPECIALLY CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENT AS INSTALLED BY THE DIVINE WILL OF A CATHOLIC GOD! Oh Jesus, My Dear Jesus Christ

More than a BILLION Filipinos already lived and died since the Catholic church during the 16th century introduced Jesus Christ in our land as the Savior of the Filipinos; and, indeed, as the Savior of the Philippines. Especially under traditional Catholic faith, values, and beliefs! In this already 21st century, however, only one Filipino, thus far, has ever had the guts to stand up and to publicly asked: Oh Jesus, my dear Jesus Christ, when are you going to save the Filipinos; and, when are you going to save the Philippines? Of course, the larger question is: You are suppose the save the Filipinos from whom; and save the Philippines from what? Gising na tayo mga kababayan! Tama na yang kalechehan at kababuyan sa bansa natin! It is time to love our country and to love fellow-Filipinos. Not for what we Filipinos are today, but for what we Filipinos can become one day - the healthiest, wealthiest, and the brightest Man of Asia! Poch Suzara google# Twitter# Facebook# Atheist#

With Faith, We Filipinos can Move Mountain

No doubt, with faith, we Filipinos can move mountain; especially the mountain of corruption that's keeping us SICK as a people; and economically FUCKED as a nation. The trouble is, thanks to our faith in Jesus, our Savior, we can only move the mountain of corruption into a higher mountain for more corruption. And why not? After all, we have always been highly BLESSED BY GOD being the only Catholic country in Asia since the 16th century. For my part, I ask: why do we need faith to move the mountain of divinity, when it is better for the mountain of divinity to remove our faith in the mountain of human stupidity? I said it before, I say it again: Faith is the deadliest of all human diseases. Faith kills the mind recklessly before it kills the body thoughtlessly! The Unpardonable Sin

"Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. "Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. Matt. 12:31 I said it before, I say it again: look how we Filipinos never, but never commit the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. But we are able to easily commit other sins and then take advantage of the FORGIVENESS OF SINS via the sacrament of CONFESSION. Even our corrupt congressmen and corrupt senators with so much faith in the Holy Spirit - have not any remorse or regret about stealing BILLIONS OF PESOS of the people's money - money needed for expenses of our growth as a decent people, and expenses for our development as a decent nation. In the meantime, since the 16th century, the Catholic Church was married to poverty, slavery, and indignities. Today, in this already 21st century the church is married to prosperity, personality, grandiosity, and popularity. Indeed, specially married to corrupt high government officials most of them thieves wallowing in wealth, power, and glory as blessed by a divinity always inspired by the endless existence of deviltry. FILTH, VULGARITY, AND PORNOGRAPHY WRITTEN IN THE HOLY BIBLE

“Because of you I will rebuke your descendants; I will smear on your faces the dung from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it." Malachi 2:3 "THOU SHALT EAT IT AS BARLEY CAKES, AND THOU SHALT BAKE IT WITH DUNG THAT COMETH OUT OF MAN, IN THEIR SIGHT." Exek. 4:1 "hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?" (II Kings 18:27 "Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses." Exek 23:19-21 "And lusted after her paramours there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose emission was like that of stallions." Ezekiel 23: 21, If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away ... Deut 22:28-29 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. Numbers 31:15-18 “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women.” Ezekiel 9:5-6 “Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.” Isaiah 13:16 “And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes.” 1 Chron. 20:3 “O daughter of Babylon, you destroyer, happy those who pay you back the evil you have done us! Happy those who seize your children and smash them against a rock.” Psalm 137: 8-9 Comment: it is indeed despicable how in this already 21st century college educated Filipinos still believe the bible is a holy book written by inspired authors of God. As a matter of fact, the bible is really a lot of BIBULLSHIT that should have already been flushed down the TOILET centuries ago. Poch Suzara Google# Twitter# Facebook# Atheist#

Rotten Wisdom Revealed in the Holy Bible

Believers in the traditional religion necessarily look to the past for inspiration rather than to the future. They seek wisdom in the teachings of Christ, which admirable as it is, remains quite inadequate for many of the social and spiritual issues of modern life. Art and intellect and all the problems of government are ignored in the gospel. Bertrand Russell Oh Russell, my dear Bertrand Russell, with all due respect, here are 10 examples of rotten wisdom written in the holy bible: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man. She must be quiet." (1 Timothy 2:12) "Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has under the ban. Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and asses." (1 Samuel 15:3) "You shall not let a sorceress live." (Exodus 22:18) "Happy those who seize your children and smash them against a rock." (Psalm 137:9) "When the men would not listen to his host, the husband seized his concubine and thrust her outside to them. They had relations with her and abused her all night until the following dawn, when they let her go. Then at daybreak the woman came and collapsed at the entrance of the house in which her husband was a guest, where she lay until the morning. When her husband rose that day and opened the door of the house to start out again on his journey, there lay the woman, his concubine, at the entrance of the house with her hands on the threshold. He said to her, 'Come, let us go'; but there was no answer. So the man placed her on an ass and started out again for home." (Judges 19:25-28) "And the males likewise gave up natural relations with females and burned with lust for one another. Males did shameful things with males and thus received in their own persons the due penalty for their perversity." (Romans 1:27) "Jephthah made a vow to the Lord. 'If you deliver the Ammonites into my power,' he said, 'whoever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites shall belong to the Lord. I shall offer him up as a holocaust.' ... When Jephthah returned to his house in Mizpah, it was his daughter who came forth, playing the tambourines and dancing. She was an only child: he had neither son nor daughter besides her. When he saw her, he rent his garments and said, 'Alas, daughter, you have struck me down and brought calamity upon me. For I have made a vow to the Lord and I cannot retract'." (Judges 11:30-1, 34-5) "Then God said: 'Take your son Isaac, your only one, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah. There you shall offer him up as a holocaust on a height that I will point out to you'."(Genesis 22:2) "Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord." (Ephesians 5:22) "Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse." (1 Peter 2:1) Poch Suzara Twitter# Facebook# Google#

The Endless Search of the Truth

“Truth is a shining goddess, always veiled, always distant, never wholly approachable, but worthy of all the devotion of which the human spirit is capable.” Bertrand Russell. "The sacred truth in science is that there are no sacred truths. . . Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.” Carl Sagan. If the truth have already been revealed in the bible, how come nobody knows which truth has been revealed. Or even revealed by whom, for whom, or to whom? Indeed. the truth can only be found at the bottom of the abyss; but the abyss, however, is bottomless. And to think that the inspired authors of God were frustrated enough to write in the bible: "We will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.” John 8:32. I said it before, I say it again: I love and respect and admire the truthseekers. I never, however, give a hoot to those who claim that they already found the truth; especially as they refer to themselves as the truthwarriors. Poch Suzara

Quotes to Defend Insanity Behind Christianity by Adolf Hitler

"I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so." — Adolf Hitler, to Gen. Gerhard Engel, 1941 "I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator." — Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, p. 46 "I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Almighty Creator. By fighting the Jews, I am doing the Lord's work." — Adolf Hitler, ibid. p. 65 "This human world of ours would be inconceivable without the practical existence of a religious belief." — Adolf Hitler, ibid. p 152 "Thus inwardly armed with confidence in God and the unshakable stupidity of the voting citizenry, the politicians can begin the fight for the 'remaking' of the Reich as they call it." — Adolf Hitler, ibid. Vol. 2 Chapter 1 "The National Government will preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. It regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the family as the basis of national life." — Adolf Hitler, Berlin, 1933, first radio address after coming to power. "The fact that the Catholic Church has come to an agreement with Fascist Italy ... proves beyond doubt that the Fascist world of ideas is closer to Christianity than those of Jewish liberalism or even atheistic Marxism..." — Adolf Hitler in an article in the Völkischer Beobachter, 1929 "I am personally convinced of the great power and deep significance of Christianity, and I won't allow any other religion to be promoted." — Adolf Hitler "Today Christians ... stand at the head of [this country]... I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity .. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit ... We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past ... (few) years." — Adolf Hitler, quoted in: The Speeches of Adolf Hitler, 1922-1939, Vol. 1 "We were convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations; we have stamped it out." — Adolf Hitler, speech on October 24, 1933 Here's a list of banned books in Germany, 1932-1939 "As for the Jews, I am just carrying on with the same policy which the Catholic Church has adopted for fifteen hundred years, when it has regarded the Jews as dangerous and pushed them into ghettos etc., because it knew what the Jews were like. Unfulfilled Prophecies in the Holy Bible

1- Genesis, Chapter No. 4, Verse No. 12, it says… ‘God told Cain: you will never be able to settle you will be a wanderer.’ Few Verses later on Genesis, Chapter No.4, Verse No.17, says…‘Cain built up a city’ – unfulfilled prophecy. 2- If you read Jeremiah, Chapter No.36, Verse No.30, it says that…‘Jehoiachin the father of Jehoiachin… no one will be able to sit on his throne - The throne of David, no one will be able to sit after Jehoiachin.’ If you read later on, II Kings, Chapter No 24, Verse No 6, it says that… ‘Jehoiachin after he died, later on Jehoiachin sat on the throne’ - Unfulfilled prophecy. 3- One is sufficient to prove it is not the word of God - I can give plenty. If you read Ezekiel, Chapter No 26, it says that…‘Nebuchader, he will destroyed Tyre.’ We come to know that Alexander the great, was the person who destroyed Tyre - Unfulfilled prophecy. 4- Isaiah, Chapter No. 7, Verse No 14, says, prophesying of…‘The coming of a person who will be born to a virgin - his name shall be Emmanuel.’ They say… the Christians - it refers to Jesus Christ peace be upon him. Born to a virgin - the Hebrew word there is ‘amla’, which means not ‘a virgin’- ‘a young lady.’ The word for ‘virgin’ in Hebrew is, ‘baitula’, which is not there. Even if you agree - we are using concordance - we agree… ‘Virgin’… ‘Virgin’ - No problem. It says… ‘He will be called Immanuel.’ No where in the Bible is Jesus Christ peace be upon him, is called as Immanuel - Unfulfilled prophecy. Poch Suzara Twitter# Google# Facebook# Atheist#

Health as a People and Wealth as a Nation

What has human happiness to do with morals? The object of morals is not to make people happy. It is to fit them for heaven." It certainly seems to unfit them for this world. Bertrand Russell. The existence of evil does not bother me. I have no fear in facing reality; especially as each unfolding reality contains the seed of it own destruction. What bothers me is the existence of something worst than evil: GOD. I asked it before, I ask it again: Oh God, my dear God, what the fuck are you a God for? Why are you such a supernatural Sap? Why I Stopped Praying Years Ago

Whatever you ask in prayer, if you have faith, you will receive it. Matt. 21:22 Mark 11:24 What a lot of holy crap! Health - the Greatest of Wealth

Ignorance and fanaticism are forever hungry and need feeding. Clarence Darrow, American Lawyer The worst kind of poverty is the poverty of the mind. On the other hand, the greatest of wealth is health; especially mental health. There is nothing more precious in this world than enlightenment of the human mind to develop with the freedom of thought under the power of knowledge. To me, as a Filipino unbeliever, I say that the poorest people are those who faithfully believe that they are the intelligent masters of religion. On the contrary, I say, they are the frightened victims of the sick mess. Far more tragic than those who are jobless, hopeless, and homeless is the greatest of tragedy in the Philippines: those who are mindless and heartless; specially as they are the senseless products of the sick system under Catholic education in the Philippines. Tagle - the Archbishop of Manila - all admit on TV and in radio stations - making no bones about God as the panacea; and His son Jesus - the one and only Savior of the Filipinos. They spend their entire sermons saying that if we only "turn back to God" all of our troubles as a people, and all of our problems as a nation will vanish forever into thin air. Opnions are Worthless unless they accord with the facts

Opinion is the only thing known to science that can be created out of nothing. Compared to facts, however, an opinion is worthless unless it accords with the facts. We are often told that everybody has a right to his or to her own opinion. This is not true. One does not have the right to an opinion at all. You are not entitled to an opinion on anything unless you have thoroughly studied all aspects, indeed, every facet of the issue in question. In fact, as soon as you are thoroughly familiar with the issue in question, then you are entitled to your own honest opinion. Otherwise, if you were totally ignorant of the the nature of the issue in question, you have no right to have an opinion. In the meantime, millions upon millions of Filipinos have the opinion that the truth has already been revealed in the bible. This is not true. Millions upon millions of Filipinos do not bother the read the bible from cover to cover. It contains not the revealed truth, but the revealed lies and deceptions. Otherwise, there should be need to have 57 different versions of the bible sold in bookstores today! Poch Suzara Facebook# Atheist# Google# Twitter#

Why I Love, Respect, and Admire my teacher - Bertrand Russell

"I think we ought always to entertain our opinions with some measure of doubt. I shouldn't wish people dogmatically to believe any philosophy, not even mine." Eddie Manalo, the Catholic bishops; and, of course those more referred to as "your Honor" - the sick congressmen and sick senators keeping the Filipino famous throughout the world as the Sick Children of Asia. The Filipino is Worth THINKING for

"The Filipino is worth dying for!” Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino. Look at us Filipinos, the religious morons that we all are - getting only more famous Sick Children of Asia, - Filipinos killed Ninoy Aquino. For my part, I said it before, I say it again: the Filipino is worth THINKING for; specially for the future generations to come. May they be spared of the same old traditional hogwash values - such as believing that dying for a silly divinity is more sacred than thinking intelligently for love of our country. Especially in the here and now! In the meantime, I quote my hero - Jose Rizal: "My sole wish is to do what is possible, what is necessary, what is in my hands. I have glimpsed a little light, and I believe it is my duty to show it to my countrymen. . . . I would like the Filipino people to become worthy, noble, honorable; for a people who makes itself despicable for its cowardice or vices exposes itself to abuses and vexations." There are three groups of Atheists in the Philippines. The first group say that I am the "father of Atheism." The second group say that I am the "grandfather of atheism." The third group, my favorite group - they say I am the "Pope" of Atheism in the Philippines. All of the above, I must admit, I consider as childish nonsense. My Dear Ex-Senator Rene Saguisag

August 9,2013 My Dear Ex-Senator Rene Saguisag, When the foreigners arrived in the 16th century, we had the land, and they had the bible. Today in the 21st century, we Filipinos have the bible and the foreigners own not only most of our land, but are also the owners of schools, colleges, and universities in the Philippines. Not to mention the media. Such commercial enterprises continue to teach us Filipinos to be proud of our Christian faith. Especially for as long as we do not bother to read what’s precisely written n the bible. A book written not by Filipinos but written by foreigners – the Jews – the “elect,” God’s “chosen people.” My dear Ex-Senator, I ask: have you ever wondered why we Filipinos feel so proud and lucky to be employed by foreigners right here in our own country? If not feel even more proud and luckier to be employed in foreign countries? In the meantime, a great number of poverty-stricken jobless Filipinos nevertheless feel so blessed by God as the bible declares: “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land." Also, "For in much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow." Or even more socially disastrous, the bible warns - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." On the contrary, when a Christian allows one kind of fear to dominate him, he soon comes to be dominated by other kinds of fear also. Listen to our own Jose Rizal - arrested, incarcerated, and publicly executed for writing two books that shook the foundation of Christianity in the Philippines. He stressed the worth of the Filipino. He emphasized the fact that human dignity is a person’s worth, that which makes him stand above all other creatures. In his exchange of ideas on human rights and freedom with Fr. Pablo Pastells, Rizal said: “ Man’s dignity is precious to him. He carries within him a feeling of importance, a regard for his value and worth. When man ceases to value his dignity as a human being, he ceases to be a man. He forgets that nothing, indeed, is more excellent than humanity. . . Deprive a man of his dignity, and you not only deprive him of his moral stamina, but you also render him useless even to those who want to make use of him. . .Man in his self-respect; take it away from him and he becomes a corpse.” There is, indeed, something feeble, if not despicable, about a Filipino who cannot live his life unless sustained by the belief in deadly superstitions. Such as - one need not bother with poverty, disease, and population growth because God will provide. Or, that "blessed are those who are poor in spirit. They shall inherit the kingdom of God in heaven." Or, blessed are the Old and the New Testament in the Philippines because they inspire the arrival of more foreign investment! It is time for us Filipinos to be receptive to the values of science and scientific way of thinking, and technology. Such values should help us extricate ourselves out of poverty by generating our intellectual growth as a decent people, and development as a decent nation. It is also time to realize that we have been educated to be amenable to more of the same blind faith in the Christian way of life. It has, indeed, turned out to be our worst enemy: faith kills the mind before other diseases kill the body. Faith is just another sacred word we have been taught to employ to justify a lazy mentality, rationalize our lack of creativity, if not to maintain and to support the ways of our sick society. So deeply rooted in the teachings of Christianity. The test of a true religion, however, has nothing to do with a holy book, or how Old or New are its Testaments. It has nothing to do with prayer rally part 1, 2, and part 3. It has nothing to do with bombastic preachings delivered by real estate brokers devouring financial offerings from blind and ignorant Jesus followers. It has nothing to do with a pie in the sky or an ally in the sky. On the contrary, a true religion should generate human love and compassion in the here and now that binds the human society together as one precious human life. Indeed, a true religion does not inspire stupidity or insecurity; neither does it encourage running away from the problems of human society; especially by solving its problems with silly charity. Indeed, a true religion knows full well that the truth hurts, but knows even more that lies and deceptions are far more damaging and can last for a thousand years. As for me, an atheist, what have I to offer fellow-Filipinos in this religiously sick country of ours? Only one thing creative as it is constructive: I offer you the courage to take back what was stolen away from you during formative years in school - the most priceless treasure in the world – your precious mind and precious hearts as Filipinos! In this way, we need no longer waste our time loving a foreign God up out there, and wasting more time by hating one another for the greater glory of such a God down here! Indeed, we need to remedy the ills of our sick society not only by intellectual revolution, but the evolution of our precious minds and hearts; specially to learn to become proud thinking Filipinos. To be proud of our women. To be proud of our children. to be proud of our government. Indeed, to be proud of the one and only country we were all born into - our beloved Philippines! The aim of Christian education in the Philippines has always been about the pursuit of learning for the "Greater Glory of God." Here, however, is how the bible describes God and the glory of his temper and his tantrum: "I will sweep away everything in all your land," says the LORD. "I will sweep away both people and animals alike. Even the birds of the air and the fish in the sea will die. I will reduce the wicked to heaps of rubble, along with the rest of humanity," says the LORD. "I will crush Judah and Jerusalem with my fist and destroy every last trace of their Baal worship. I will put an end to all the idolatrous priests, so that even the memory of them will disappear. For they go up to their roofs and bow to the sun, moon, and stars. They claim to follow the LORD, but then they worship Molech, too. So now I will destroy them! And I will destroy those who used to worship me but now no longer do.They no longer ask for the LORD's guidance or seek my blessings." (Zephaniah 1:2-6) Today, throughout the Christian world, except in the Philippines - Christianity is tearing itself apart externally as it is collapsing internally. Today, throughout the Christian world, except in the Philippines, priestly authority and priestly respect exist no more or have been sensibly diminished. Today, throughout the Christian world, except in the Philippines, the superstructure of ecclesiastical privilege is tottering. Its fall is inevitable as its foundation has largely been based upon sacred lies and holy deceptions both evils always at home with corruption. It is time to educate ourselves to establish right here on our land a sane and a healthy society. It is time we promote in our country nothing but the beauty of common Filipino decency. It is also time to read properly and thoroughly the bible. In this way, as we begin to learn and understand just exactly how destructive bible messages have been and still are as a lot of holy hogwash as ever. I said it before, I say it again: it is time for us Filipinos to begin to rock the Christian boat; but preferably to sink it out of our precious minds and hearts - forever! Cheers! My War Against Deviltry more Known as Christianity

I said it before, I say it again: Find a job that you enjoy doing and you will never have to work for the rest of your life ever again. As with me, I found the happy job of waging war against deviltry more known as Christianity. Never, however, have I ever experienced greater mental joys and much intellectual pleasures in life than fighting the historical enemy of the Filipino minds and hearts. Indeed, Christianity - the religion that had Jose Rizal arrested, incarcerated, and publicly executed for the purpose of maintaining wealth, power, and glory of Catholcism in the Philippines for centuries yet to come. Oh my dear reader, if there is life after death in heaven or in hell, please be rest assured that I will continue my fight against divinity behind stupidity in the hereafter for the rest of eternity. In the meantime, here's something ticklish to think about: "immortality is the condition is a dead man who does not believe he is is dead." We Ask What Else Can We do For God

"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country." JF Kennedy, President of the United States In the Philippines, since the 16th century, we Filipinos have been indoctrinated by our colonizers to ask not what God can do for us, but to ask, instead, what we can do for God. In this already 21st century, however, via schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries owned by our former colonizers, we are still told that having faith in God is not enough. We must continue asking: what else can we do for God, specially for the Son of God Jesus - our Jewish Savior - who died on the cross for our sins and our crimes! In the meantime, millions upon millions of college-educated Pinoys and Pinays are so proud of the historical fact that we are the only Christian country in Asia today. And more proud that for the glory of God in heaven, we Filipinos have not as yet civilized ourselves as a decent people, nor have we, as yet, industrialized ourselves as a decent nation. Civilization is the triumph of humanity over Christianity. It means the standard of thinking works better than the standard of believing. It also means that the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness works better than the pursuit of a better world to come after death. Industrialization is the triumph of knowledge over ignorance; prosperity over poverty; and, indeed, the triumph of reason over blind faith in a lot of out-of-this world dogma, pigma, and hogma! In the Philippines, we have neither civilization nor have we industrialization. What we have is endless stagnation under perpetual frustration - for the sake of our eternal salvation! And these horrors have been and still are nothing but the product of our sick faith in a sick system of education. Consider the typical attitude of a corrupt official or employee of the Philippine government. Listen to them bragging: "I don't care of the criminal activities increasing in our sick society." "I don't care if Filipino lives are ruined by illegal drugs." "I don't care if more and more of our women are going into prostitution." "What matters is that I am rich. . . it is every man for himself. Indeed, sila sila, kame kame, tayo tayo, bahala ka na sa Dios mo puta ang ina mo." Foremost Filipino Historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo wrote: "Self-deception is the worst tragedy of the Filipino as a people." I regret to say that this is just one of the minor terrible effects of a much greater horrible cause that's keeping us Filipinos spiritually poor as a people and morally backward as a nation: CHRISTIANITY. Look at us millions of Filipinos in this already 21st? We are still sick as the Sick Man of Asia. We are still praying to God to "give us this day our daily; and to "lead us not into temptation." "and also still praying to Mary, Mother of God to: "pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen." Oh God, my dear God, as you are already a God, and have been a God since the days of Adam and Eve, do you really need more prayers from the millions of poor Filipinos today already faithfully serving you daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly? I ask: What are you a God for? Why do you still need more glory and for what? Come on God, isn't it time for you to WAKE UP and start behaving like a real honest-to-goodness kind and loving God? Really God, what are you a God for? For Christ's sake you even need Catholic priests or Christian Brothers to be in charge of the SICK SYSTEM EDUCATION IN THE PHILIPPINES! Dear College-Educated Friends and Associates

Dear College-Educated Friends and Associates, As far as I am concerned, as a La Salle high school expelled student, the horror of the system of education in the Philippines has more to do with this silly historical fact: Millions upon millions of Filipino children are yearly educated to become CATHOLICS first and foremost for the glory of God in heaven; and hardly educated to become creative, productive, and well-informed CITIZENS of the Republic of the Philippines for the glory of its own decent growth and development as a decent nation. In the meantime, we were all taught to believe, during our formative years in Catholic schools, that we are all born corrupt; but that there is nothing wrong with being corrupt for as long as we believe and have faith in God who has the power to forgive the sin of corruption in our daily way of life in this only Catholic country in Asia! Philosopher Bertrand Russell was closer to the truth when he wrote: "We are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education." Cheers! Poch Suzara Facebook# Twitter# Atheist# Google#

The Greatest of Evils in the Philippines

July 27, 2013 My Dear Senator Rene Saguisag, The greatest of crimes that's keeping the Philippines famous as a nation of sinners and criminals is the crime of silence. Indeed, in this only Catholic country in Asia, nobody seems to have the courage to publicly declare that there are NO atheists in the corrupt government; NO atheists in the corrupt church; NO atheists in the corrupt media; NO atheists in the corrupt courts of law; NO atheists in the corrupt military; NO atheists in corrupt schools, colleges, and universities. Indeed, are all faithful theists - believers in God. They all need to believe and to have faith in God ONLY because God is the one and only Supreme Power who can forgive them of their sins, crimes, and corruption in retail; but also to forgive them and to absolve them of their endless sanctimonious piety in wholesale! Secretary of Education - Fr. Armin Luistro

Without science, a nation can neither extricate herself out of poverty nor out of stupidity. Science is what we know. Theology is what we do not know. In this already 21st century, it is fascinating to know how science has been transforming the world of ignorance into a world of knowledge; while theology only continues to keep the world still frightened under a lot of sacred mysteries in cahoots with holy baloney divinities. But here is something even more fascinating: at present, in our poor and backward country, the Secretary of Education is not a scientist. He is a well-trained theologian; in fact, a Catholic priest - Fr. Armin Luistro. Do any of you really believe that as the Secretary of Education, Fr. Armin Luistro is out there to educate millions of Filipinos to serve as productive and creative citizens the interests of the Republic of the Philippines? In fact, as a Catholic priest, his duty and responsibility is to indoctrinate millions of Filipinos to be loyal and faithful only as Catholics in order to maintain and support the continued existence of the wealth, power, and glory of the Catholic church in the Philippines. Foremost Philippine Historian Teodoro A. Agoncillo wrote: "Self-deception is the worst tragedy of the Filipino as a people." I say this is only half of the truth. The other half of the truth is that thanks to our Catholic system of education, the tragedy of the Philippines as a nation is its self-damnation. If you believe that there is a separation of Church and State in the Philippines, you might as well also believe in the existence of the separation between poverty and stupidity. As a matter of historical fact, the illicit affair between Church and State in the Philippines is just like a good Catholic marriage: what God has joined, let no man put asunder,- till death do us part. Both the Church and State protect and defend each other. The former with forgiveness of sins; and, the latter with tax exemption laws. The job of the State is to keep the people living in ignorance. The job of the Church is to keep the people living in fear. Combine the two horrors inextricably together and we have what is known as Christian values and beliefs. They are more known today as: MORE FUN AND SAFE IN THE PHILIPPINES as stimulated and indeed generated by the Sick Man of Asia! Poch Suzara Atheist# Facebook# Twitter# Google#

MGA ULOL - GISING NA

We are all born ignorant, not stupid. We are made stupid by education. Bertrand Russell Indeed, in the Philippines, we are made stupid as "college-educated" products of La Salle, Ateneo, San Beda, Letran, UST, AIM, UP, Assumption, etc. - Look at us Filipinos in government, in church, and in the media! We are the most corrupt and stupid of men and women all taking advantage from God and specially from his JEWISH Son Jesus - the forgiveness of our SINS and the pardon of our CRIMES. And then we all have the gall to tell each that we must all have FAITH in God and in his JEWISH son Jesus as the real Savior of the Philippines - the only Christian country in Asia daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly since the 16th century! Our Overseas workers

Our workers are better paid and indeed highly respected for the hard work they do in foreign countries. In our own God-forsaken country, however, instead of giving our workers their due earnings and due respect, they only survive on more of the same hand-to-mouth standard of existence. But we never stop asking God to bless them. We never stop thanking God for the hard work that they do for the rich. In the meantime, in our sick society, the filthy poor are getting poorer. The filthy rich are getting richer. I asked it before, I ask it again: Have any of you ever met or heard of a Filipino who got to be FILTHY RICH for believing that God is BAD? So how come millions upon millions of Filipinos are FILTHY POOR for believing that God is GOOD? Hijos de tootie-frootie y patooties CONIO! Gising na tayo! Puede ba? Endless Hypocritical Piety as Blessed by God Perpetually

A great many Filipinos, specially in government, in church, in schools, colleges, and universities, and in the media will never, but never abandon their faith in God. In the End Dr. Jose Rizal was not a Jesus Follower

Here are words uttered by Jesus - words never emulated by Dr. Jose Rizal in any of his writings. A great many innocent Filipinos, however, frightened by blind faith, believe that Dr. Jose Rizal himself was inspired by the teachings of Jesus. Nothing could be farther away from the truth. Listen attentively to the messages of Jesus. Messages that Dr. Jose Rizal as a thinker totally rejected like any other decent Filipino thinker should totally reject: If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple." Luke 14:26 Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Matt. 10:37 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me. Luke 19:27 Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. Matt. 10:34 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. John 15:18 But Jesus told him, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead. Matt. 8:22 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.1 John 2:15 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" Matt. 17:5 The Son of God Jesus, crucified on the cross, cried out loud: "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?" Matt. 27:46 For my part, after years of serious study of the life and times of Jesus as He is depicted in the holy bible - the deeper I learned to appreciate the power, the beauty, the necessity, and the sanity of atheism. What If the Power of Prayer Works

If prayer works, how come we must only continue to pray on and on endlessly? Indeed, if prayer works, then we should see great and wonderful result with Filipinos no longer busy praying; specially as we are the only Christian people in all of Asia. Indeed, if prayer works, we should already see the results in the Philippines. We should have no more need to build more hospitals. Our country should be the most "blessed" country in all of Asia with health and wealth. Is this the Philippines we see? Never mind what your blind faith sees! It sees nothing! And so, I ask: how come by any standard of living and thinking, other NON-CHRISTIAN countries in Asia are ahead of the Philippines - economically, politically, scientifically, technologically, culturally, and, indeed, spiritually? Of course, let's not be too unfair. Let's be happy and proud of the Consuelo de Bobo: when it comes to corruption here, there, and everywhere; when it comes to sins against God; when it comes to crimes against our own country - we are quite successful and way ahead of everybody in Asia and in the world at large. British Scientists Power Mobile Phones Using Urine

British scientists on Tuesday reported they had harnessed the power of urine and were able to charge a mobile phone with enough electricity to send texts and surf the internet. Researchers from the University of Bristol and Bristol Robotics Laboratory in south west England said they had created a fuel cell that uses bacteria to break down urine to generate electricity, in a study published in the Royal Society of Chemistry journal Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics. "No one has harnessed power from urine to do this so it's an exciting discovery," said engineer Ioannis Ieropoulos. "The beauty of this fuel source is that we are not relying on the erratic nature of the wind or the sun; we are actually reusing waste to create energy. "One product that we can be sure of an unending supply is our own urine," he added. The team grew bacteria on carbon fibre anodes and placed them inside ceramic cylinders. The bacteria broke down chemicals in urine passed through the cylinders, building up a small amount of electrical charge which was stored on a capacitor. Ieropoulos hoped that the cell, which is currently the size of a car battery, could be developed for many applications. "Our aim is to have something that can be carried around easily," he explained. "So far the microbial fuel power stack (MFC) that we have developed generates enough power to enable SMS messaging, web browsing and to make a brief phone call. "The concept has been tested and it works - it's now for usto develop and refine the process so that we can develop MFCs to fully charge a battery." They hope the technology will eventually be used to power domestic devices. Philippine Star, July 18, 2013 In the Philippines, we only have to thank our sick system of education. It is mostly based upon the power of prayer and theology; hardly based on the power of science and technology. It is, in this way, that we Filipinos know exactly what to do with our urine: we piss on each other on this earth down here; specially for the greater glory of Jesus in heaven up there. Poch Suzara

What We Filipinos can still do for God and for His Son Jesus

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. JF Kennedy In the Philippines, since the 16th century, we Filipinos have been indoctrinated by our colonizers to ask not what God can do for us, but to ask, instead, what can we do for God. In this already 21st century, however, via schools, colleges, and universities owned by our former colonizers, we are still told that having faith in God is not enough. We must continue to ask: what else can we do for God, specially for the Son of God Jesus who died on the cross for our sins! In the meantime, millions upon millions of college-educated Pinoys and Pinays are so proud of the historical fact that we are the only Christian country in Asia today. And more proud of the historical fact that for the glory of God in heaven, we Filipinos have not as yet civilized ourselves as a people, nor have we, as yet, industrialized ourselves as a nation on this earth! And these horrors have been and still are nothing but the products of our sick faith in a sick system of education. Poch Suzara Facebook# Aheist# Twitter# Google#

Indoctrination Masquerading as Education in the Philippines

Since the 16th century, there were far more churches and cathedrals established throughout the Philippines than schools, colleges, and universities. Today in this already 21st century, there are still far more churches and cathedrals. They are, however, masquerading as the system of education in the Philippines!

Indeed, in this only Christian country in Asia, we Filipinos are damned with far more ecclesiastical indoctrination than we are "blessed" with real education. Especially for our scientific growth as a people, and for our civilized development as a nation.

In the meantime, let's seriously consider Jose Rizal's dream: "I would like the Filipino to be Brilliant, Enlightened, Intelligent, Progressive... Worthy, Noble and Honorable."

Indeed, Jose Rizal's - national ideal can only be about love of Fellow-Filipinos and love our country. It should have nothing to do with love of a divinity behind the mystery of theology in order to keep the Philippines poor and backward under the blessings of Christianity? I ask it before, I ask it again: when will the churches and cathedrals, now more established as schools, colleges, universities, not to mention the lawmakers of the Philippines - produce Filipinos decently dreamed of by our national hero - Jose Rizal?

My Mother's Death July 10, 2013

My Dearest Guys and Gals, My sisters and I were all there with her when mother died last July 10 here at home at 10 a.m. She will not make it for her 100th birthday celebration in September 12, 2013. After all the religious ceremonies done, we had her remains cremated July 13. We thank you all and appreciate the condolences, flowers, and mass cards we received for her. My mother's ashes, now in an urn, is with me in my room shelved alongside my library of precious books. In time, we will transfer her urn to be together with my father's ashes in a columbarium at San Isidro church in Pasay city. Soon, I too will be dead. When it is our time to go, it is time to go. When it is not yet our time to go, not even our doctors can kill us. In the meantime, life should be about what happens to us after birth. Life should have nothing to do with what happens to us after death. The bible says: "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Gen. 3:19. Well, if God created me from dust in his own image and likeness, I really have to need to wager to believe whether God is dust or not. Here, however, is a more sensible wager than Pascal's: If God asked you to wager before being born or not to be born on this earth - what would you choose? In the meantime, my values as an atheist is not so much to get us into heaven, or to keep us out of hell, but to put a little bit of heaven into this earth by taking the hell out of it. This is how we atheists try to live on this earth. We think it more gracious to spread intellectual grace for the human race by rejecting ecclesiastical disgrace from divine grace! The fear of death can only follow from the fear of life. A man who lives courageously should be prepared to die at any time instantaneously. As for me, I said it before, I say it again: If death is the cessation of all that is beautiful, thoughtful, and delightful in what makes life meaningful to live it, then I say: FUCK DEATH! With much love to all, Poch Suzara Facebook# Twitter# Atheist# Google#

NEVER MIND INDUSTRIALIZATION. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS OUR ETERNAL SALVATION

We have, in the Philippines all, but all of the natural resources to produce steel, aluminum, bronze, ball bearings, electric motors, engines, compressors, bicycles, trains, motor vehicles, motorcycles, refrigerators, computers, cellphones, wrist watches, radios, televisions, movie cameras, space crafts, sound systems, etc. Unfortunately, we do not have, not by a long shot, the greatest of all natural resources that countries like Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Australia, etc, have: the developed minds and cultivated hearts for growth as a people and development as a nation via industrialization. It should be one of the creative results of a creative system of education. Indeed, in our Catholic schools, colleges, and universities, we have been taught to believe and to have faith, especially during our formative years, that this life in our country, is nothing but a transition to a better life to come after death with God in heaven. Thus, the emphasis on the next better world to come has led us millions of Filipinos to disregard the exploitation of our own natural resources in our own country. We have been taught to believe and to have faith that the only things of true value are those found in the heavenly world of God. Our country, this country belonging to Filipinos is seen as low, depraved, and unworthy of love, respect, and affection. Therefore, the less attention placed on it and the more attention placed on God's kingdom, the better our chances to win eternal salvation. Never mind the works needed for civilization via industrialization! These evils are the works of the devil. In the meantime, among the richest individuals, among the richest investors in the stock market, among the richest owners of land, schools, colleges, universities and other commercial enterprises in the Philippines - are the Catholic Bishops and the Catholic Cardinals. They see to it that the Catholic Vatican bank remains as the richest and most powerful bank in the world. Poch Suzara Facebook# Atheist# Twitter# Google#

Corruption in the Church is far GREATER than Coruption in the Government

What is the difference between corruption in the Philippine government and corruption in the Catholic church: When corrupt government officials are caught, they go to church for the forgiveness of crime. They are usually referred to as "your honor." When corrupt church officials are caught, they also go to church for the forgiveness of sin. They are usually referred to as "your Eminence." In the meantime, the church has always been grateful for the existence of sin and crime; for, without such evils, the church would have crumbled centuries ago. The continued existence of the church therefore has always been about how to keep sin and crime alive and kicking; indeed, how to generate and to promote more sins and more crimes here, and there, and everywhere. Especially for the sake of big business of the church in order to acquire more wealth, power, and glory. The church has always been and still is a haven for the criminals and for the sinners in the Philippines. Thus, corruption in the church is far greater than corruption in the government! I Am Proud of My Intellectual Freedom

Mental slavery is mental death, and every man who has given up his intellectual freedom is the living coffin of his dead soul. --- Robert G. Ingersoll For my part, I love my intellectual freedom. I enjoy THINKING far more than I enjoy PRAYING. It is, in this way, that I also enjoy fighting to end the greatest evil that's keeping our country poor and backward: mental slavery more known as Christianity. During my formative years in school, I got expelled because I was not afraid to convey to my teachers in class that I love to QUESTION more than I cared for the answers. In the meantime, in La Salle grade school and high school, nothing was important to us students except to repeat and repeat this prayer to: "ST JOHN BAPTIST DE LA SALLE, PRAY FOR US. LIVE JESUS IN OUR HEARTS, FOREVER." Hell, I thought I better get the hell out of that insane mess. I did! Luckily! Happily! Proudly! Creatively! Poch Suzara Atheist# Facebook# Twitter# Google#

Religion as Organized Superstition in the Philippines

Religion is not provided to us by revelation, it doesn't come to us from the heavens, it does not come from the beyond, it does not come from the divine. It's man-made. And it shows. Religion is created, invented, imposed by a species half a chromosome away from the chimpanzee. - Christopher Hitchens Religion encourages stupidity and an insufficient sense of reality... The power of priests is more obviously connected with morals than any other form of power. In Christian countries, virtue consists in obedience to the Will of God, and it is the priests who know what the Will of God commands. - Bertrand Russell In the Philippines, however, religion promotes nothing but lies and deceptions, if not more of the same old historical social degradation, and indeed, political corruption. Millions of Filipino children are still taught in Catholic schools to believe and to have faith in Jesus, the Savior of our sick souls for the sake of saving the wealth and power of the Catholic church. Meanwhile, we remain spiritually impoverished as a sick people and morally bankrupt as a sick nation. I said it before, I say it again: It is nothing but faith in blind faith that makes us believe that the priesthood industry is only acting in their churches and cathedrals. Nay, they are acting more successfully in their schools, colleges, and universities; and, acting effectively in the media. Such horrors precisely make us famous as the Sick Children of Asia. - Poch Suzara

there Are No Atheists in Foxholes - NO KIDDING?

The statement "There are no atheists in foxholes" is a proverb used to argue that in times of extreme stress or fear, such as in war, all people will believe in, or hope for, a higher power to protect them - more referred to as "God."... Indeed, this is ticklish; but what is even more ticklish is that no one has ever found a dead Christian in a foxhole who did not first pray before he died!... Well, if there were no atheists in foxholes, it is because there were also no wisdom nor understanding either. There was only ignorance and fear that produced foxholes... For my part, I am an atheist. I did not lose my faith. I threw the holy garbage out the window! Of course, it is obvious that there are no atheists in foxholes. There is never any room left for the atheists to be down in foxholes. It is already filled with hate, a Standing Room Only situation filled up with Christians, Muslims, Jews hating and killing each other in God’s name on earth and for His glory in heaven... I say it is more truthful to declare that there are no atheist officials in the government and no atheist leaders in the church. Look how these two great institutions are the most corrupt and rotten in our poor and backward country. Both entities could only survive in cahoots with lies and deceptions especially to protect each other existence in cahoots together... In the meantime, the religious morons are never able to understand the atheists. To begin with - in the history of the world, how come there never was an army of atheists waging war against another army of atheists because they did not believe in the existence of God!... In the meantime, listen to this great scientist/astronomer/atheist: - “Every one of us is, in the cosmic perspective, precious. If a human disagrees with you, let him live. In Asia only Filipinos are qualified to go to Heaven

"Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." Jesus in Matt 18:3 Again Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." Matt 19:14 I said it before I say it again: The most destructive evil force in the Philippines is not corruption; it is superstition: the irrational belief arising from ignorance or fear, on the one hand; and, on the other hand - illusion, delusion, and confusion as the basis of our faith in a Jewish Savior of the Philippines still stuck under a sick system of a christian education. We are the only people in Asia who have been and still are faithful to Jesus and His teachings. It is truly astonishing to realize how we Filipinos have utterly failed to grow as a people and to mature as nation of Asia. As a matter of historical superstition - for Christ's sake, we Filipinos are only getting more and more famous as the Sick Children of Asia! In the meantime, only in the Philippines: The horror of corruption comes from the horror of education. It is inspired by a bigger horror: our faith in the history of superstition: that in order to be saved, we need not think! We must only believe! In this way, we need not love our country down here. We must only love Jesus in heaven up there! One of the great horrors we poor Filipinos suffer from is in the hope that the evil forces keeping our country drowning in population growth can only be cured not by a system of scientific education, but only by legislation, at best; or, at worst, by praying as inspired by our faith to be less and less involved with the beauty and the power of more and deeper thinking! Philippines - Still Stuck Under Religious Garbage

Yes, it is true. The responsible and sustainable mining of our immense mineral resources — described as one of the richest on earth — can pay off all the Philippines’ foreign debt and transform it into a prosperous, mine-rich nation like Australia or Canada! The Philippines has the world’s second biggest gold reserves next only to South Africa, among the top reserves in copper, plus others like nickel, chromite, cobalt, silver, and zinc. Indeed, except perhaps diamond, name it, we have it; estimated worth at more than ONE TRILLION DOLLARS or 45 TRILLION PESOS per annual production. Not to mention the recently discovered oil and coal deposits worth more than enough to make the Philippines - the wealthiest and the healthiest country in all of Asia. Japan has no natural resources except the greatest in any country. The educated minds and hearts of its citizens due to their powerful system of education. Thousands of educated Filipinos are there working as employees in Japanese industries as generated not by prayer and theology, but by science and technology. Singapore has no natural resources except the greatest in any country: the educated minds and hearts of its citizens due to their powerful system of education. Thousands of educated Filipinos are there working as "employees" in Singaporean industries as generated also by science and technology. There is not one cocoa tree grown in Switzerland. Yet the Swiss as products of a powerful system of education produces the best chocolate in the world. Thousands of educated Filipinos are there working as "employees" in Switzerland. We are rich in Agriculture: rice, coconut, sugar, corn, bananas, pineapple, aquaculture, mangoes, not to mention GUABANO - the miracle fruit that prevents certain types of cancer. Industry: textiles and garments, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, wood products, paper and paper products, tobacco products, beverage manufacturing, food processing, machinery and equipment, transport equipment, electronics and semiconductor materials, mineral products, hydrocarbon products, fishing, business process outsourcing services Now look also at the still untapped treasures around us Filipinos - the treasures in plants, flowers, and trees with medicinal and nutritional values; The treasures in our rivers, lakes, caves, and forest; the treasures in the beaches of more than 7,000 islands; the treasures in our shores, bays, and coves. They remain untapped only because as products of schools, colleges, and universities, we are still more into prayer and theology instead of utilizing the power behind science and technology. But most of all, the most powerful and greatest of natural resources - the Filipino mind and heart. Instead of being educated, cultivated and elevated - Filipino minds and hearts are only mutilated, distorted, twisted, and degraded with prayer and theology. Specially for the glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven. We are still being taught to LOVE NOT THIS WORLD, NEITHER THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD. IF ANY FILIPINO LOVE THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF GOD IS NOT IN HIM." Also, we are still being taught to TAKE NO THOUGHT FOR TOMORROW BECAUSE JESUS WILL SOON BE RETURNING TO REMEDY THE ILLS OF OUR SICK SOCIETY. Also, to worry not about this life in this world. Indeed, to believe only that what is more important is NOT life on this earth, but death in the kingdom of God where our souls are saved; otherwise, if not, we will all end up punished forever in hell. I say it again: Unless the religious garbage is thrown out of our system of education, we Filipinos, in the centuries to come, will only continue wasting our time on this earth having faith in BLIND faith in our sick religious beliefs and values that only make us famous as the Sick People of Asia! The holy bible says: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16 I ask it again: WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM WHAT? Isn't it time for us Filipinos do some serious constructive thinking? Isn't it time to put to a halt our destructive silly ways in stupid believing? Indeed, we are all born ignorant, not frightened. It is in our sick system of education that teach us to be frightened! We even faithfully believe that a God, in His infinite wisdom, created Filipinos in His own image and likeness! God Is an Atheist. So Was Jesus

Why Atheism Won’t Succeed in the Philippines by Hector Gamboa I used to embrace atheism and I used to be active in the Philippine atheist forum and community. However, during the past few years I find myself being drawn away from atheism. Did someone “save” my wretched soul and showed me the path to eternal life and salvation? No! I still believe that there is not enough evidence yet that I have witnessed and experienced that would offer sufficient proof (and arguments) for the existence of the theistic god. Given that my view on the existence of the theistic god hasn’t changed, why do I find myself being drawn away from atheism? If atheism is favored by science, evidence and reason, why is it such at a disadvantage against religious beliefs that often comes with credulity? The biggest word that comes to my mind when I think about this question is “Arrogance”. As long as arrogance lingers amongst the vocal proponents of atheism in the Philippines, I just do not see it prospering in the country despite the feeding programs, conventions, public debates and media mileage its organizations have.

Response

My dear Hector Gamboa, I invite you to carefully read God's first commandment: "THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME." This means God does not to believe in the existence of other GODS - and that makes God an ATHEIST. Well, obviously this logic puts the frightened believers in a complicated situation since you all believe, love, and worship a God who is an atheist! And you people cannot even see this simple truth due, apparently, to your faith in blind faith! But here is something clearer to see: Look at the Son of God Jesus. He was also an atheist. Crucified on the cross Jesus cried out loud: "MY GOD, MY GOD WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?" Obviously, Jesus was an atheist. He did not believe nor had He faith in God's divine plan. In the meantime, I ask: when we were born, coming out of mother's womb, did we have a religion? Did we believe in the existence of God? Isn't it a fact that no child has a religion? All babies are born atheists: free from religion. No baby is born a Catholic, a Muslim, a Jew, a Hindu or a Baptist? So I am proud to be an atheist. What is the problem? If God, Himself an atheist, created me in his own image and likeness, and therefore created me to be an atheist like God - why should that bother any of you frightened religious saps? Cheers! Oh Plato, My Dear Plato

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” ― Plato Oh Plato, my dear Plato, the real tragedy in the Philippines comes from Catholic schools, Catholic colleges, and Catholic universities: We were taught to be afraid of the dark,to be afraid of light, and also to be afraid of life itself, especially for the glory of Jesus on earth as he is in heaven and in hell. - Poch Suzara

Oh God, My Dear God

If there were a God, I think it very unlikely that he would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt his existence. Bertrand Russell Oh God, dear God, if you are a God, what are you a God for? Especially for the here and now, and not for the by and by later in the sky? Poch Suzara
